“DJ Toes On The Line” Speaks
September 8th, 2013Every Bucs fan’s favorite tight end, Sgt. Winslow, who bristled at Bucs coach Greg Schiano’s New Schiano Order, and who quit on Bill Belicheat last year, caught a late first half touchdown against the Bucs today and was gloating in the win against his former team.
“It was huge,” Winslow said. “I’ve been in this type of situation many times and never managed to pull it out. This is what the hard work is put in for. It always seems to come down to six points or two minutes left in the game so we were prepared for it.
“It feels really good. I was real emotional before the game and I had to control myself. But it felt real good and I’m glad we came out with a win. It’s all about situational football. When you play situational football, you practice it and execute it on Sunday. It becomes easier.”

Ir really isn’t about Winslow…its about Stocker….can he not catch a ball?….is that why we don’t target him?…..surely we should have a gameplan that includes a TE catching at least one pass or two.
Stocker is becoming a Myron Lewis….the only difference is Myron never started……

Dang… Freeman was SO bad, he even made K2 look good!!!

79 yards and a TD. Nice TE production. Better 3rd receiving option than Ogeltree.

First play of the game , Stocker whiffs on a block …just sayin
September 8th, 2013 at 7:20 pm
Winslow is a better TE than anything we have on the team. Apparently Ryan has no trouble letting Winslow rest his knee, in order to be 100% at game time.
I said all summer we needed a slot Wr and a TE. Dom fed out so BS, on how TEs aren’t important in our scheme.
The best teams in the league all feature a great TE( San Fran, NE, NO, Atlanta, etc).
Guess we coulda used one today. Stocker cannot block, run routes, or catch.
And Ogletree killed us with his drops as the slot.
Pathetic

@ Raphael
You are correct. Yet, you think Winslow makes that block?

Great! The guy’s a scumbag and he gets to gloat! The life of a Bucs fan.

BKYN
Yeah. I do. They pointed out 2 key blocks that Winslow made today.
That’s more than Stocker has made in his career

Many of us sports fans will never forgive Schiano for running Winslow out of town.
Winslow was once 1/2 our total offense, and had great chemistry with Freeman.
He never missed a game for us, and then the hard ass prick Schiano tried his high school rah rah toes on the line shit on him.
That stuff doesn’t work with grown Men, especially when they have been in the NFL longer then Schiano has.
Winslow made a key block today, that sprung a Jets back for a first down, as well as making some drive sustaining catches against us.
In fact, Winslow was instrumental in beating us.
Once can only wonder what it could have been like, if we had kept Kellen Winslow.
Payback is a bitch, ain’t it ?

Winslow’s intel on Freeman’s tendencies was WAY more valuable than Revis’ intel on the Jets.
September 8th, 2013 at 9:27 pm
Nobody needed intel on Freeman. Everybody in the world already knows it. And it’s going to catch up with Martin too. Today was all the tape anyone will need that has any kind of defense.
