Darrelle Revis Vs. Richard Sherman
September 11th, 2013Hottie Allie LaForce and outspoken Doug Gottlieb, co-hosts of “Leadoff” seen nightly on CBS Sports Network, debate who will have the better season; Darrelle Revis or Richard Sherman in this CBS Sports video.
September 11th, 2013 at 10:22 am
The CB who gets touted this most this year probably will have the better QB play.
The real question:
Will Josh Freeman or Russell Wilson win more games in 2013?
Answer that, and we may have an idea as to which CB has the better season.
It all starts with the QB!

Lol who are those asssclowns? Revis stats decline each year? Lmao look at passes thrown his way, that explains there stupid theory.
September 11th, 2013 at 10:24 am
Did I just watch a VH1 sport show?
September 11th, 2013 at 10:27 am
Does anyone ever have anything positive to say about the Bucs?
September 11th, 2013 at 10:29 am
“Richard Sherman has stats increased every year” …….he’s been in the league for how many years?
September 11th, 2013 at 10:47 am
Respect is earned; not given. When is the last time the Bucs won a playoff game?
September 11th, 2013 at 10:48 am
smh Geez. 🙁
September 11th, 2013 at 10:50 am
No offense joe but this is y females can report sports but not have an opinion on it. MOST women dont truly follow sports only look at paper numbers or attach there thoughts to someone elses opinion. Revis stats are declining hahaha id rather listen to saun king??????? Did I really just say that wtf!!!
September 11th, 2013 at 10:51 am
Two people who seem to know nothing about football discussing DB play. What really is “not debatable” is the fact that these two have no clue what they’re talking about.
September 11th, 2013 at 10:51 am
Cant ^
September 11th, 2013 at 10:59 am
yeah.. so they come out talkin about how he should style his hair… and congradulations blondie.. u know how to read stats… and if it shows PDs and tackles going down, maybe take into consideration that nobody throws it to him as much. whose d!ck did Gotleib and Blondie have to suck to get on internet sports news??

“Respect is earned; not given. When is the last time the Bucs won a playoff game?”
I get that, just venting. Heres to hoping they all eat their words soon!
September 11th, 2013 at 11:03 am
exactly Dylan. how can a real sports analyst not realize this? its almost as asinine as making a Revis post about Freeman.
September 11th, 2013 at 11:05 am
So you’d rather look at Shaun King than Allie LaForce? Um, kay. 🙂
(Remember, TV is a visual medium.)
September 11th, 2013 at 11:10 am
LOL Joe just realized how Bucs fans are so bitter that the Bucs are not talked about by national media types (i.e. Bucs fans want attention) and the few times the Bucs are talked about, said mouthpieces get raked over the coals. 🙂
Damned if you do; damned if you don’t. 🙂

Ugghhh…seriously…this dumb broad should not be talking about football. I guess Deangelo Hall is a better corner than Revis too because he gets more interceptions…
Sorry Joe, but we don’t care about looking at this irrelevant chick…believe it or not, we’re here for the news that you report…this post doesn’t fall into the category of “news”.

Joe –
It really isn’t that. I had to double check that this was actually a sports show – it looked and sounded like a talk show at mid-day (VH1 as someone above said).
It doesn’t matter in the end, but the idea that Revis had been “declining” each year before his injury is weird, to say the least. It could only come from just looking at a stat sheet.
What would Revis’s stats have looked like on Sunday if he’d played the whole game? My guess is not much different than they looked with him playing 70% of the snaps. Geno stopped even looking in his direction after roughly the first quarter and a half. That’s why they call him a “shutdown” corner. Complete radio silence on his side of the field. And that doesn’t necessarily show up on stats every game.
Even if Revis was still on the Jets I’d be saying the same thing, as I think most people on here would.
There is one way to be not “damned if you do” – know what you’re talking about and have an informed opinion. Regardless of whether one is talking about a Buc. The fact that’s it’s about a Buc just sends a message that they don’t care about getting it right when it comes to us, so perhaps that rankles a bit.

Id rather listen to saun not look lol but a cute face cant mask a invalid opinion…..her tool of a boyfriend is probably a falcon or saints fan thats where here research comes from he does the talkin she just smiles an tries to make the trash smell like roses

Numbers on the decline huh? Isnt the lack of numbers, or opportunities the QB throws to the guy, the thing that matters?
Comparing Revis and Sherman is apples and oranges. Seattle’s D is predicated upon a generating pass rush and shifting coverage based on it, and the Bucs are now able to shift blitzers based on Revis’ play. Two completely opposite concepts. I dunno, let the talkers talk.
September 11th, 2013 at 12:04 pm
Don’t care about media accolades just wanna win
September 11th, 2013 at 12:07 pm
revis was a non factor because they only threw to his side 3 times, its coaching because why have a safety over the top of him when you see how well he’s playing…..you have revis and goldson playing like probowlers, nothing got over the top but our game plan was to play scary and dont let a qb beat us deep and he ended up winning the game anyway with no one to throw to that we know except winslow…They’ve never had a revis so they have no clue how to maximize his talents….why not try him in the slot on passing down

Joe
Please don’t put anymore crap like this on the post. That dumb girl had no idea what she was talking about. “Revis stats are declining”; in what area??? Picks??? not throws to him.
She probably didn’t even know who Revis was until the producer gave her the clipboard with some stats on it.
She probably had to rush to youtube to find out something about him. lol
She should just sit there, but pretty and smile.
September 11th, 2013 at 12:50 pm
^^should say “no one throws to him”
September 11th, 2013 at 1:12 pm
The girl on NFL AM knows her role. Sit there and look pretty. She only talks or looks like she cares when they talk about dancing or something like that.
I don’t know why Joe likes this stuff but hates NFL AM. The girl on there is MUCH better looking. And when she says something stupid the other guys look at her like she is crazy. Gottleib carries on a conversation about hair.
September 11th, 2013 at 1:33 pm
A hot chick that talks about the Bucs? Joe promises you that video will get posted.
September 11th, 2013 at 1:36 pm
no comment that looks like the worst sports show in sports history.
