“Not Many Left”
July 17th, 2013Buccaneers single game tickets went on sale today at 10 a.m. for all games and a somewhat strange alert has popped up on Ticketmaster.com.
A yellow exclamation point appears next to the words “NOT MANY LEFT” directly below listings of games against the Saints, Eagles and Dolphins.
Upon deeper review, tickets are moving significantly for those games. The Saints game is the Sept. 15 home-opener. The Bucs haven’t had one of those televised locally since 2009.
Joe sure hopes it’s Bucs fans doing the buying, versus fans of those hated rivals.
Regardless, it doesn’t matter. Ticket sales are always a good thing, and Joe’s very happy for the local couch potato Bucs fans who shun shady Internet feeds of blacked out games.

Just bought my tickets to the miami game!
July 17th, 2013 at 12:39 pm
Doesn’t bother me that opposing fans buy tickets if it helps to sell out and end blackouts…..also….this year I think they will be treated to a can of Whopp-ass….a unmerciful beatdown!!!
July 17th, 2013 at 12:40 pm
They can’t afford to crash now. The Bucs have put all their eggs in one basket this year and if they screw it up they may never get these fickled bandwagon fans back again in the near future. Have a mediocre season this year and we’ll be back to blackouts next year.
July 17th, 2013 at 12:58 pm
The Bucs are going to plant Drew Brees into the ground and use him as fertilizer for the field.
July 17th, 2013 at 1:14 pm
Just got my tickets to the Monday Night game. Vetern’s Day,Sapp’s induction, and my birthday..promises to be a fun night.

Look there’s buc_realist in the middle holding the sign upside down.

First timer of season tickets (3) and can’t hardly wait season starts
July 17th, 2013 at 1:32 pm
Lol, are you next to me holding my purse??? or the fat one next to me wearing an old caddy jersey???
July 17th, 2013 at 1:33 pm
^^^^he doesn’t go to Bucs games and if he went to a game, it would most likely be in Atlanta to watch his realistic team.
July 17th, 2013 at 1:34 pm
Ha ha ha ha ha ha
July 17th, 2013 at 1:37 pm
@Buc Realist
You are quite entertaining!!! Are you also Panther Realist or Falcon Realist…or Shaun King in drag?
I would continue to hide behind your anonymity if I were you and by all means….don’t get even close to Dale Mabry!!!
July 17th, 2013 at 1:43 pm
don’t get even close to Dale Mabry!!!
^^^^ yes because I drive like crap and ya never know.
July 17th, 2013 at 1:47 pm
Bought 11 tix to MNF vs. Miami last night. It aint dolphins fans buying them i can tell u that!
July 17th, 2013 at 1:49 pm
Yo joe, would the “not many left” seem to suggest they are already at 85%?????
July 17th, 2013 at 1:49 pm
unfortunately, I have to drive on Dale Mabry, as i pass the stadium a get tear in my eye when I think what the boy-genius gm has done to my Bucs. One day maybe they can climb back to being a respectable organization again.
SCUB OG!
( as the upside down sign says )

BOb:
No clue. For all Joe knows it is a sales pitch.
Ticketmaster is BY FAR the worst source for how many tickets are left. SSSOOO many Bucs fans swear by Ticketmaster’s statistics but they are so wrong so often by so much they make Dan Sileo look like Bob Costas.
July 17th, 2013 at 1:52 pm
Section 330 all season long can’t wait!!!
July 17th, 2013 at 1:56 pm
Buc1987 : 1
Buc Realist : – 2 for the lame response
On topic, I bought tickets back in April for the phily game and I’m really surprised to see the majority of the seats available are only behind the goal post or nose bleed sections. This season has high expectations and hopefully it’ll go through.
July 17th, 2013 at 2:07 pm
@the_bucs_realist
See, proof you aren’t a fan. If you were, you’d know the Bucs have never been respected. (Not by the media anyways)
July 17th, 2013 at 2:07 pm
^^^^^ this is just a joke btw
July 17th, 2013 at 2:25 pm
Got my tickets to see the Bucs beat down the fish on MNF. Fired up for that one.
But who the hell wants to see the Cardinals game? Or the Bills? I’m guessing only the season ticket base.

“First timer of season tickets (3) and can’t hardly wait season start”
Welcome to the group, I’ve held season tix since the RayJay had it’s first game. Glad to see some aren’t drinking the poison cool aid being dished on here so often. Enjoy!!!
July 17th, 2013 at 3:07 pm
Won’t buy a single ticket in advance and I will be at every game. Just like last year. The secondary ticket market is where it’s at.
July 17th, 2013 at 3:54 pm
lol the chick in the picture is holding her sign upside down.
July 17th, 2013 at 4:00 pm
@thong have you seen how much they dropped their prices this year? $30 for nose bleeds. What cha gonna pay in secondary market? $20 a seat?
July 17th, 2013 at 4:14 pm
oh I just read its the bucs realist. lol that works on so many levels.
July 17th, 2013 at 5:53 pm
Flying from canada to catch 2 games go bucs
July 17th, 2013 at 6:40 pm
Just got 4 tix to the Eagles game. Flying in from Colorado. Will be my GF’s first Bucs game in Tampa (she’s seen 2 in Denver…. both losses). We’ll be attending with 2 Philly fans living in Colorado as well. Last time I was in Tampa with my Eagles fan friend, the Bucs pulled off the last second upset with the LONG FG to win the game. Lightning won that weekend over his Flyers AND Bucs beat his Eagles…
All I can say is I’m STOKED for the season, and I want to hear the BUCS fans at the game be SO loud we don’t have to listen to the stupid Eagles fans singing that STUPID “Fly Eagles Fly” song the whole damn time!
Section 103, corner endzone. Can’t wait…
July 17th, 2013 at 7:14 pm
That’s cool BamBam I’ll be one section over from you.
July 17th, 2013 at 7:17 pm
@BamBam…it’s going to be loud if I have anything to say about it. BTW Eagles fans don’t deserve to sit so close to our field. Tell your friend I said that. LOL
July 17th, 2013 at 7:35 pm
Check that I’m 3 sections over from you to the left and being VERY loud. Look for the guy constantly waving his hands up in the air for fans to get louder. There might be a few of us doing that, but I doubt it.
July 17th, 2013 at 7:48 pm
^^^^ wear a Buccaneer ship hat and a #1 finger and we’ll all find you… lol
July 17th, 2013 at 7:51 pm
UPDATE : the 49ers game has a yellow exclamation next to it too.
Might we have 4 sold out games this year?
July 17th, 2013 at 8:00 pm
If we come out of the gates on fire, i really believe we could see more than 4 sold out
July 17th, 2013 at 8:12 pm
Man I knew I did something right with my money when I bought these tickets.
July 17th, 2013 at 8:39 pm
BamBamBuc,
That’s awesome. I’m happy for you guys. I bought a couple extra tickets for Bro from Phili too. We sit in 309 with a rowdy group. I love it there and have had numerous opportunities to upgrade but I like our clan and we always have a blast, even when we lose. I don’t see many losses this year.
I also strongly believe that Revis is helping ticket sales. The guy can take over games and with Goldston back there, I look for strong play and hard hits. I think a lot of fans are feeling good about our Team.
July 18th, 2013 at 3:02 am
@Timmer
Props to you man, now that’s commitment.
You trump us all lol
July 18th, 2013 at 4:40 am
@PRBucFan,
I don’t know about that, depends on where he’s from in Canada. I’m flying from Hawaii to watch 3 games – one preseason and 2 in November. This will be my 5th straight year catching at least 2 games, all coming from the middle of the Pacific. I might have him beat, lol.
July 18th, 2013 at 6:03 am
Now that was very observant Realist. Go Bucs backwards does spell Scubog. I was at the game (since I’ve never missed one); but that’s not me. Glad to read that the out of town posters are buying some tickets. I’m curious if you will be attending any. Do you boo and hiss when the players are introduced? Or, if one side yells “Tampa!” you follow up with “Nay!” as in naysayer?
July 18th, 2013 at 9:33 am
Hawaii is probably 5000 miles by air to Tampa. The remotest parts of Canada or the Northwest Territory are less than 4000 miles. Further North you go, the shorter the trip. at least in this hemisphere. just sayin
July 18th, 2013 at 10:18 am
The Philly fans I was stuck in front of during last years game. Yelled the word sucks everytime the crowd yelled Tampa. That’s just how bad fans from Philly can be.
July 18th, 2013 at 10:58 am
Looks like the ticket sales slowed down a tad.
As usual, nobody wants to sit in the hot nosebleeds. Might as well tarp all of the 300s.
July 18th, 2013 at 11:43 am
@Hawaii
There’s always an “exception” lol
Either way that’s some commitment. I consider anyone out of the states (Hawaii too) coming in to watch the games as “the exceptional” fan. Nice guys, nice.
PR’s not as far but i’ll be making a few trips myself :).
I am pretty pumped!
July 18th, 2013 at 12:16 pm
Love to see Bucs fans from all over making the commitment to attend games. Love to see games selling so many tickets before preseason even starts.
As much as Revis is credited with increasing ticket sales, I have to believe it is as much to do with Doug Martin, Lavonte David, Vincent Jackson, Mark Barron, etc. as well. Last year’s team was SO close, so often. Every game was exciting to watch (except the last Saints game). Josh broke records, Martin setting new standards, David blowing up the tackles for loss… all lead to excitement for the new season. Yeah, add in Revis and Goldson this year and there is a lot to be excited about.
