Watched the hi-lite reel and DAMN….. Martin-est like!!!! Dare I say we now have a two headed monsterin the backfield hmmmmm… Maybe three headed if Mike Smith comes out of hiding 🙂 Martin James Smith
You should not dare call any sixth round pick a part of any “two headed monster”.
Guy is definitely a power runner. Seems to lose his balance at times. Early in that video he is running along the side line and kind of lets his momentum carry himself out of bounds. On a different play he caught the ball well short of the first down but had plenty of space and seemed to trip over his own feet. (Still got the first though.)
Overall seems like a good pick with plenty of upside but lets not go crowning him a pro bowler just yet. There is a reason he was picked in the sixth round.

He has power, agility, and good hands, the only thing he is missing is the hurtle that blount does.

I kike it. Good pass catcher, agility, power. I think for the role they want him for here its a good pick.

I agree with the Joe compliments too. Too much work lately, but able to get my info here thanks to Joe and iPhone.
I like this draft and think the Bucs did a great job.

I believe Alfred Morris was a 6th round pick by the skins, plus being a Cane fan, once they get to the pros, they perform better

I guess Schiano doesn’t like dealing with running backs with difficult to spell names:
Gone:
LeGarrette Blount
Here:
Doug Martin
Mike Smith
Mike James

Lots of potential in this kid. Like the attitude and the hands.
