The leader of the New Schiano Order joined ESPN Radio to talk NFL playoffs, Bucs and Chip Kelly on Thursday.
Schiano sounded like the stress of the season was off his back and he was upbeat and even talked about how much fun he had without being prompted. Schiano also kept it real. He agreed the Bucs could have had a better record if they got it done in some tight games, but also acknowledged the flip side. “It could have been worse,” Schiano said.

@ihearttheBucs – Joe is not always right, and Joe has no desire to be always right. Routinely, when Joe posts audio, Joe will pull an interesting quote that fits within the headline space. Joe found this quote met those parameters. –Joe

Right on Joe… It was a good tease for the audio. I also like Schiano’s perspective. We always hear coaches say “we could have been 11-5 if only…” Schiano is modest and realistic enough to say a few plays here or there we could be 11-5, but by the same token, a few plays the other way and maybe we’re 4-12. It’s good stuff, and the right way to move on.

After the combine, and after Geno Smith kills it. Making him the #1 pick in the draft. We should offer our 1st and 2nd round picks. Along with Josh Freeman. For the rights to Geno Smith and a player like Glenn Dorsey. That would be a power move for the Glazer family and give us a true franchise QB!

Funky monkey- and the chiefs fans are gonna be all pumped up, because they traded hit prospect Gino smith , for retread Josh Freeman!!!!
Yeah, right. That trade wouldn’t stand even in “Madden world”.
Real world> dream game world. Lets try to maintain some small amount of credibility here.
