Andy Reid Thrilled By Home-Crowd Feel
December 10th, 2012In what was a gross exaggeration about the numbers of Philly fans present and soiling the 2002 Buccaneers Super Bowl reunion yesterday, Eagles head coach Andy Reid raved about the cheers he was hearing after the game.
“The fans were unbelievable. I mean, you gotta giv’em credit. They were out here. At times I wasn’t sure who had more fans, us or them,” Reid said.
Reid went on to say he wasn’t sure whether the final Eagles touchdown to the end the game was reversed by officials because of the loud crowd reaction when the final score was in the books.
Screw, Andy Reid. There was a recognizable, audible Eagles-fan presence yesterday, but there had to be about 90 percent Bucs fans there in the full-house crowd of 64,941.
Joe suspects Reid is simply so used to being booed on his home turf that some cheers surprised him.

@ Adny reid !
what you just said is one of the insanely idiotic things I have ever read . At no point in your rambling , incoherent respone were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought . Anyone who has read this is now dumber having read it . I award you no points and may god have mercy on your soul .

I wonder if those Iggles fans will follow him to San Diego or Dallas for his next job.

There were very few Philly scum at the game yesterday. Yeah, they were loud and obnoxious like most people from the Northeast, but they were outnumbered by Buc fans.
December 10th, 2012 at 3:54 pm
Fat Andy got a w.Such a loser this why the Bucs should be embarrassed.

I had the pleasure of hanging out on the deck next to the pirate ship with a really nice teacher from Philly that one ticket in a radio contest. Totally floored me. I expected all Eagles fans to be arses. As for the rest, they sucked and there definitely a lot more Bucs fans than Eagles fans.
December 10th, 2012 at 3:56 pm
There were far more than 10% Eagles fans there, and they were definitely louder. I expected that but my heart was broken when I couldn’t hear the 02 team being announced or Gruden’s speech beacause so many douches were screaming. No class whatsoever.
December 10th, 2012 at 3:57 pm
I’d say it was about 60% Bucs fans, 40% Eagles. There were A LOT of Eagles fans.
December 10th, 2012 at 4:02 pm
60-40? Are you nuts? Please don’t lie to people. It wasn’t more than 10 or 15 percent tops. But that’s thousands of Philly d-bags where only 1 or 2 are tolerable.
December 10th, 2012 at 4:17 pm
They were loud. I’ll give them that. Unfortunately most Bucs fans are afraid of damaging their fragile little vocal chords. Andy has every right to be proud of their fan presence yesterday…regardless of what percentage..I could clearly hear their chants from across the stadium…so you know our players heard it too.

Who cares what that walrus Andy Reid says. Did anyone see him after the game? You’d swear that game mattered for the Eagles the way Reid was jumping up and down. I thought his C-cup breasts were going to hit himself in the face.
December 10th, 2012 at 5:06 pm
Ok, ok 40% may have been an exaggeration but you can’t tell me there weren’t at least 25%. They were everywhere I looked.
December 10th, 2012 at 6:03 pm
Hunter, 25% would still be a gross exaggeration. All of the Eagles fans put together would probably only fill about 3 sections, leaving the rest bucs fans, and about 1 empty section.
December 10th, 2012 at 6:38 pm
Id say 25% looks about right. If you say otherwise you mustve had a bit too much libation or watched the game from the luxury of your couch.
December 10th, 2012 at 7:03 pm
espo, i was at the game, completely sober. don’t know about you however…
December 10th, 2012 at 7:08 pm
Can’t stand Fat Andy, The Eagles Org, and their fans. They are the most bi-polar group of fans and they do nothing but bash other fanbases with out knowing what they are talking about.

His kid died this year. I will cut him a lot of slack.

maybe 10-15%, of course its loud when $6K plus fans chance cheer and the rest are in shock. I still don’t understand this whole stadium fans deal, been this way for years for me since season tix of 98 for Bucs. Do most of you watch prime time games? See Cowboys host a major market team or Green Bay? Atlanta? Ever travel to other markets? Have NFL ticket? A lot of fans are at other stadiums, it’s not that big of a deal other then the media saying we have the best fans, blah blah blah.
December 11th, 2012 at 3:06 am
Didn’t have a drink in me. I guess maybe the north endzone had a higher concentration of douches than whatever club section you were in.

Excellent perspective Andrew.
