We screwed ourselves out of it in the first quarter of the year playing like trash. We still got Atlanta twice, Denver, NO, Philly, and San Diego. I don’t see us being better than 9-7 (and that’s if we play really well) the inconsistency at every position including coaches. And I don’t think that will be good enough.
We have to beat the raiders and go 3-1 in each of the next two quarters of the season to even sniff a wild card spot. Tall order. Let’s just show that we are for real and see what happens. The good thing is that we are young and have some years to be good for a ling time. Gooo bucccs!!!
The great thing about the NFL (compared to CFB) is that there’s always a chance. The ’10 Packers started the season 3-3, barely squeaking past the Bucs for the last wildcard spot, and went on to win Super Bowl XLV.
I think we have a lot of talent but the team is plagued with inconsistency. Every week someone steps up and every week someone disappears. Not a quality that’s going to help a team make a playoff run. Plus I don trust the play calling yet specifically defensively.
With the way we have turned around under schiano I believe we can make it we’ve always had the talent. We got cheated by New Orleans I believe we can beat them. The chargers hmmph I think we can handle them, and Philly is not looking great right now. We can make it and probably should. Denver and ATL are really the only true hurdles to overcome but I believe we can beat atl to because after they lose to Philly. Remember Philly’s undefeated after they by week they’ll crumble as usual.
It is a possibility especially with all of the parody in the league this year. If we were and AFC team I would say no doubt. If the offense continues to gel and the defense can get the pass defense to follow suit to the run defense…a winner in Tampa Bay could be on the way.
If not this year then next year for sure. I’m happy to see this tangible improvement week by week. And it is huge. Of course, I voted yes. Why in heck not?

All you who voted yes, I’m available to wager … and I do own a farm.

I voted no only because of how it was worded. If it said could instead of would I’d vote yes in a second.

Starting off 1-3 and being a young team, the odds ae stacked against them.
