The Amazing Mike Williams
October 26th, 2012Joe really hopes Bucs fans appreciate the magic of Mike Williams.
The truly elite level stuff Williams continues to churn out game after game is just plain beautiful.
When have Bucs fans seen such body control?
Against the Vikings, Williams danced the sidelines. He worked the back of the end zone like no other. He got hammered and held on over the middle.
No, Williams isn’t perfect. But he’s not a finished product and just a mad talent who should only improve.
Joe sincerely hopes fans savor what they’re seeing in this guy. What he’s delivering are not every-game occurrences around the NFL.

He made two catches tonight that were just shockingly good. Play of the week good.

I hate to overdo this. But, how many better #2 wrs are there in the NFL at this point? I really love our receiving corps, with vjax mike and tiquan. vjax being able to catch balls anywhere around him. Mike making big time acrobatic catches everywhere on the field. Tiquan coming up with clutch catches every game. Don’t know where this will lead, but wow, this is fun to watch

When I saw the catch in the KC game, I thought it was a lucky catch of a bad pass. But now I’m convinced that this is in the playbook. Josh just throw it on top of the DBs head and I will go up and pick it off the top of his helmet! Impressive!

Agreed! I’m a little concerned with what looked like an internal argument with the o line. I’m sure that’s been covered already but I choose not to read through meaningless comments… Like Hawaii ” at first I was like awesome” and then ” i was like omg”

Some great wow catches. The arrival of Jackson has helped Williams the most. Very fun to watch this offense work.

OK so I’ll overdo this… best bucs wr corps since McCardell Jurevicius and Johnson? who’s with me?

For all the mistakes everyone loves to point out that Dominik has made, where is the love for all the great moves he’s made. V-Jax was a bargain at $55 Million. Carl Nicks is a stud. Without Eric Wright, we’d have Myron Lewis covering Percy Harvin. GMC, Mason Foster, Lavonte David, Mike Williams, Michael Koenan, Connor Barth, Mark Barron, and Doug Martin all have a chance to eat some pineapple with me this year.

Williams is just scratching the surface for his potential. I’m with you aep1717, best receiving group we have ever had.

Mike Williams is the new Larry Fitzgerald. Just give him the damn ball.

@Hawaiian Really? Koenen? That guy is one of the worst punters in the league.
The only real prospect for the probowl is Jackson.

@AEP1717 – I agree with you!
