“Family! 1, 2, 3!”
October 26th, 2012The majority of football coaches are a little nuts. It’s just how the business goes, and Greg Schiano is in that group. The leader of the New Schiano Order is no Tony Dungy.
NFL Network gave a video peek into Schiano’s instant postgame talk in the Bucs locker room last night . It’s a rare glimpse, especially with the Team Glazer trifecta in view. It closes with Schiano’s maniacal leading of the Buccaneers salute, “Family! 1, 2, 3!”

Pretty sure he said Victory, Joe. 😛
October 26th, 2012 at 11:13 am
No he said Family, I loved it! He was hyped up in that video!

“play football longer than they play ________ football!”
What did he say there?
Great post, Joe.

@Pete they say “Viking” football…. Doug Martin spoke about it during his interview
October 26th, 2012 at 11:28 am
Miguel says Chip Kelly would have given a much better post game speech.
October 26th, 2012 at 11:29 am
@Pete Dutcher: I think it’s “Vikings football.”
October 26th, 2012 at 11:30 am
Definitey family. The whole “bow your neck” thing is something my grandpa would have said. So funny.

Someone needs to teach Lavonte to keep his pants ON for the camera and not to start undressing when they start filming.
October 26th, 2012 at 11:37 am
Sounds like “Viqueen’s football” to me!
October 26th, 2012 at 11:41 am
Good.
Let’s hope that the next week goes without a negative article now.
Is this possible?
I still think the Bucs were robbed LAST Sunday against the Saints by the refs.

if this team wins in Oakland…they’ve truly grown-up and grown as a coaching staff (none of our previous coaches could win in Oakland)

QUESTION: Does anyone know why one of Barber’s forced fumbles did not count last night? Looking at his stats it only gives credit for one.
October 26th, 2012 at 11:55 am
I saw many coverages this week that were one on one on the outside. We would blitz and they would play action. This is where Talib would get beat, biting on the pa. I think our secondary held up pretty well overall. Biggers takedown on ponder was especially pretty. And how about barber?! God forbid the day that man retires.

Pete, it looked like one of them was Bennetts left hand knocking the ball out.
October 26th, 2012 at 2:03 pm
That is correct TAC, Bennett forced the first fumble on Simpson.
October 26th, 2012 at 2:05 pm
Then again, Pete has a history of watching the game, and still seeing something no one else has. He’s still waiting on a fine on Mark Barron for the hit on Steve Smith.

“Miguel says Chip Kelly would have given a much better post game speech.”
Kelly would have acted like he had been in a victorious locker room before. Chip just doesn’t remember what a losing locker room feels like.
The Bucs would probably be 7 dash 0 and on their way to a Super Bowl like a team should be in the 4th year of rebuilding.
I actually enjoyed the game and the Little General’s John Belushi impersonation. “When the going gets tough, the tough ___ _____!
October 26th, 2012 at 3:23 pm
A true winning coach is just as passionate every time he’s in that locker room Senor Chiquito
October 26th, 2012 at 3:47 pm
Let the Chip thing go. The bucs just won with the deck stacked against them in a hostile environment and your bringing up old news. You are not a true bucs fan. Why do you even exist on these treads?!

I never would have said anything if I wasn’t challenged by LightningBuc.
I agree with you, Gus, it was all good.
October 27th, 2012 at 8:11 am
Ummm Ian and the gay lisp…..I think the Bucs did at one time have a coach who could win in Oakland.
November 12th, 2012 at 7:07 pm
It’s definitely FAMILY … that’s the new Bucs mantra. So strong. GoBucs!
Great post Joe. Thanks.
