“The Bucs Ain’t No Joke”

Donald Penn had the answer after the game. Penn was fired up on Buccaneers Radio Network.
“[The Giants] know the Bucs ain’t no joke. That’s one thing we can take away from this. We ain’t playing around this year,” Penn said.
Penn also went on to say the Bucs need to learn how to finish and were a play or two short. Penn said he had complete confidence the Bucs would tie the game on the late drive that led to Mike Williams’ heroic 41 yard touchdown drive and on the drive that came up short to end the game.
The leader of the New Schiano Order had similar commentary as well. ““It was a battle, and the Giants made one more play than we did,” Schiano said.
Now Joe knows the Giants victory was more than just a “one-play” difference, but Joe buys into the sentiment. The Bucs are for real because they’re physical and they have playmakers.

We need to aspire to be more than just a joke. Bucs need to learn how to win instead of play not to lose. BTW, what’s up with Blount not playing. The play calling in the second half for the second week in a row was pathetic. No pass rush and no corners. C’mon Bucs, you guys choked this one away.

I think this kind of loss could bring these guys closer together as a team. I was worried about a total meltdown like we saw last year.

The only joke in this game was Talib. How many times did he get juked out of his shoes? We couldn’t stop a light breeze today.
I’m not sure why we came out throwing in the second half.
Also, Wtf is up with Blount? Is he on the trading block? Injured? Doghouse? What?!
I thought we choked this game away in a manner that would make Romo jealous. Disappointing loss.

I have to say That it was impressive for this team to put up 34 points against the Giants and even be in the position to pull off a win at the end… That said, it was certainly no surprise ending with Freeman throwing another pick! {UGH!}

I don’t understand people like you Snook. Is anyone saying we are happy we lost? Is anyone glad we lost? However, we aren’t all ready to jump off a bridge because we lost a week 2 game in the backyard of a championship team in a must-win game. If you gave me 1-1 before the season after 2 games, I would have taken it. But that doesn’t mean I’m happy about it. Grow up.

offensive playcalling was way too conservative. They kept trying to attack that front 7 when the weakness was the dbacks.
