Bucs At Giants, Open Thread
September 16th, 2012
OK guys, Joe’s at Met Life Stadium, there is no blackout and it is the Bucs first road game of the season, at the defending Super Bowl champs no less. Your comments are welcome but as always, please do not post links to pirated feeds but instead, you mail e-mail them among yourselves. Have fun.
September 16th, 2012 at 12:53 pm
Let’s go Tampa Bayyyyyyyy 27-17 bucs
September 16th, 2012 at 12:55 pm
My son, who usually predicts wins and losses accurately, said the Bucs will win this one. Here’s hoping!!!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 12:57 pm
Wow, it’s Fox’s A game today, got Troy and Buck calling this.
September 16th, 2012 at 1:06 pm
TALIB BURNT
September 16th, 2012 at 1:07 pm
TALIB REDEMPTION
September 16th, 2012 at 1:08 pm
Would of been nice for Talib to pick that last pass off and save us 3 points. Nice stop though. GO BUCS!
September 16th, 2012 at 1:10 pm
That was nearly a nightmare…
September 16th, 2012 at 1:11 pm
Martin picks up 4 up the middle.
September 16th, 2012 at 1:11 pm
Why do they insist on not letting Stroughter stay back there?
September 16th, 2012 at 1:11 pm
Williams first down. They are really coming after Josh. O-line doing good so far.
September 16th, 2012 at 1:12 pm
Jackson has to shine in this game we paid him the big bucks to help us win these games.
September 16th, 2012 at 1:12 pm
HOLY CRAP!!!!!! 41 yard pass to Jackson! Beautiful pass!
September 16th, 2012 at 1:12 pm
JACKSON!!!!!!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 1:13 pm
This team is just different, so far…I cannot see the team last year getting out of that hole.
September 16th, 2012 at 1:14 pm
Free not getting much time, back there.
September 16th, 2012 at 1:15 pm
Field goal try. Oline broke down a little that time.
September 16th, 2012 at 1:15 pm
Made the field goal! 3-3!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 1:15 pm
Martin remind anyone else of Warrick Dunn?
September 16th, 2012 at 1:16 pm
Nice 2 games and 2 scores on our opening drive.
September 16th, 2012 at 1:16 pm
Not too bad a start. ..7 would have been better
September 16th, 2012 at 1:16 pm
I like what I see so far. Bucs are going with fast action passes mostly.,,and running the ball. The fast passes are negating the pass rush a little.
September 16th, 2012 at 1:17 pm
SilenceTheCritics
That’s a good point, Silence.
September 16th, 2012 at 1:18 pm
You know what I like? Seeing Sully one the sideline with the offense gathered around him, coaching them DURING a game. Never saw that with Olson.
September 16th, 2012 at 1:20 pm
If our o-line continues giving Free that much time it’s gonna be a good day.
September 16th, 2012 at 1:21 pm
first Mc Coy mention
September 16th, 2012 at 1:21 pm
Yeah, good so far…I just don’t want to see us go score for score with the Giants.
September 16th, 2012 at 1:24 pm
uh oh
September 16th, 2012 at 1:25 pm
whatever
September 16th, 2012 at 1:26 pm
That did NOT look intentional.
September 16th, 2012 at 1:26 pm
too many open Giants on that play
should have been a td
September 16th, 2012 at 1:28 pm
That Mason Foster Penalty was not intentional.
and it is nice to see more than one buc defender on tackles
September 16th, 2012 at 1:29 pm
Eli just gets rid of the ball so fast it’s hard to pressure him.
September 16th, 2012 at 1:30 pm
Nice way to emphasize the penalty Clayborn
September 16th, 2012 at 1:30 pm
Whew
September 16th, 2012 at 1:31 pm
Kind of glad that the Bennett Brothers weren’t re-united in Tampa
September 16th, 2012 at 1:31 pm
Good hold by the defense! Come on Free, step up and make a play!
September 16th, 2012 at 1:31 pm
The old Bucs “bend but don’t break” is back.
September 16th, 2012 at 1:33 pm
I like talib in his contract yearhe can tackle, his pass defense is a bit off today so far but his tackling is on the mark
September 16th, 2012 at 1:33 pm
Can’t even get it to the twenty.
Why bring it out?
September 16th, 2012 at 1:34 pm
Where is Smith on Kickoffs?
September 16th, 2012 at 1:35 pm
No way the bennd around is back
September 16th, 2012 at 1:37 pm
Smith is inactive
Doh!
September 16th, 2012 at 1:38 pm

September 16th, 2012 at 1:40 pm

September 16th, 2012 at 1:46 pm
VJax is dominating so far today. Love it!
September 16th, 2012 at 1:46 pm
Now we need a stop from the D
September 16th, 2012 at 1:47 pm
TD there are a few punches for you Joe
September 16th, 2012 at 1:47 pm
Glad to see these two connecting
last week we made the running game statement
Today it seems that we are looking to show the Freeman to Jackson threat.
Very Nice
September 16th, 2012 at 1:48 pm
lit up by Mason !
September 16th, 2012 at 1:49 pm

September 16th, 2012 at 1:50 pm
Nicks is getting NOTHING from Talib, today.
September 16th, 2012 at 1:50 pm
Like what FOX’s A-Team announcers are saying about Bucs this week
September 16th, 2012 at 1:50 pm
Don’t run on the Bucs this year
September 16th, 2012 at 1:51 pm
Gerald McCoy is so jacked this year!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 1:51 pm
Good series Talib
September 16th, 2012 at 1:51 pm
GREAT STOP!
September 16th, 2012 at 1:52 pm
Talib is doing well, maybe he has a coach he respects/fears?
September 16th, 2012 at 1:53 pm
Smith is a weapon.
I don’t care if he runs a play on Offense
On special teams he is dangerous.
Stroughter and Benn are safe, but neither have shown the electricity of Smith
September 16th, 2012 at 1:54 pm
im missing my first game in over 14 years because direct tv effed up my authorization codes!!!!!! going crazy.
September 16th, 2012 at 1:55 pm
Draft need in next years draft –
Tight End
Right Guard
September 16th, 2012 at 1:55 pm
Finally got caught up on my DVR.
Bucs looking good!
#59 is really stepping up
September 16th, 2012 at 1:55 pm
Freeman rolled right into that sack
September 16th, 2012 at 1:56 pm
Hated to see the non block by Blount.
September 16th, 2012 at 1:56 pm
Bad call
Not safe
got lit up
September 16th, 2012 at 1:56 pm
This doesnt look good
September 16th, 2012 at 1:57 pm
Smith not active
September 16th, 2012 at 1:57 pm
There is room here at the Greens Tavern Flowery Branch Ga
September 16th, 2012 at 1:57 pm
I am sure someone will correct me, and that is OKAY. It looked to me like he found no one to block, and tried to get open for a screen…Is that what was supposed to happen, and Free just didn’t have time?
September 16th, 2012 at 1:58 pm
Blount did what he was supposed to
September 16th, 2012 at 1:59 pm
MITCH Watch it on your computer. first row .eu
September 16th, 2012 at 1:59 pm
Defense reminds me of the old Bucs defense
VICIOUS!!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 2:00 pm
The D is takin em all out!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 2:00 pm
That FBs lower back collapsed on impact with the ground. He is gonna be hurt for a while after that.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:00 pm
Hynoski meets the SCORPION. Damn, that looked painful.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:00 pm
That looked brutal.
Can someone tell me why that wasn’t a fumble? I thought they were down if their knees touched?
September 16th, 2012 at 2:01 pm
I hate to see injuries…Our D is laying some wood out there, today.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:01 pm
Defense does look good, hope they don’t fine Foster
September 16th, 2012 at 2:02 pm
yea that was really ugly
September 16th, 2012 at 2:02 pm
Pete, I think the only thing his knees touched was his hips.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:02 pm
3rd and a mile screens have rarely worked for the Bucs. Cut it out. They need to be running more 2 back sets with Martin AND Blount. Defense seems to be outshining our offense overall.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:02 pm
That is called a fumble all the time.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:02 pm
lol
September 16th, 2012 at 2:02 pm
@Pete If the elbow hits the ground they are down too. Plus the ground cant cause the fumble.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:02 pm
Unlike last season, I am no longer terrified when the D takes the field.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:03 pm
I made a fortune won year betting on any team that played the team the Bucs did the week before. Bucs defense brutalized that team so bad that the next week they were the walking wounded. Any team would romp over them. This Bucs team is looking that vicious.
Calling vegas now to see who plays NYG next week. All In!
September 16th, 2012 at 2:03 pm
PICK!!!! AGAIN!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 2:03 pm
Cut one week

September 16th, 2012 at 2:07 pm

September 16th, 2012 at 2:10 pm
Bucs secondary hasn’t looked this good since Gruden/Kiffin days.
🙂
September 16th, 2012 at 2:10 pm
bucobruce, I KIND of said it. Game ain’s over yet…but I love being wrong!
September 16th, 2012 at 2:10 pm
This defense can be very dominate as they progress through the season. As I type that the RB just busts a long one..lol
September 16th, 2012 at 2:11 pm
Fielding a kick off in the endzone and you step backwards past the line of green to white this is a safety? If not why not?
September 16th, 2012 at 2:11 pm
Cmon guys
tackle
September 16th, 2012 at 2:11 pm
Holding Roy Miller
HA ha
September 16th, 2012 at 2:11 pm
The Giants are mentally out of it.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:12 pm
Uh oh David out
September 16th, 2012 at 2:12 pm
Rick330: “As I type that the RB just busts a long one..lol”
YOU STOP TYPING, NOW!
September 16th, 2012 at 2:12 pm
Nice Clayborn introduction to Manning
September 16th, 2012 at 2:13 pm
Brown looks better than D.Wilson
September 16th, 2012 at 2:13 pm
This RB is strong and big. Not a good match up for our guys.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:13 pm
what happened to our run defense?
September 16th, 2012 at 2:13 pm
More Bending….
September 16th, 2012 at 2:14 pm
Barron is Good
September 16th, 2012 at 2:15 pm
Schiano has quickly figured out how to get plays out of our LBs consistently.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:15 pm
Cruz all day
September 16th, 2012 at 2:16 pm
Not ready for Brown
September 16th, 2012 at 2:16 pm
Giants are looking too good this drive.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:16 pm
Turnover would be great now, right before the half
September 16th, 2012 at 2:16 pm
hey gotta get off their blocks
September 16th, 2012 at 2:17 pm
How’s this backup beating us?
September 16th, 2012 at 2:19 pm
Same old Back up success story
No tape to watch to prepare against
Definitely different style than Bradshaw and Wilson
More like Jacobs
September 16th, 2012 at 2:19 pm
Oddly, I agree with Jockstrap, we need a turnover.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:19 pm
Talib got worked. Bad.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:19 pm
Darn…well we all saw that coming.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:19 pm
Wow Talib got shook on that TD
September 16th, 2012 at 2:19 pm
Talib got burned there
September 16th, 2012 at 2:19 pm
Eli hits Nicks right where Ronde vacated
September 16th, 2012 at 2:20 pm
TOO MUCH BENDING on that drive
Bucs D Broke a bit that time
September 16th, 2012 at 2:20 pm
dayum talib got smoked
September 16th, 2012 at 2:21 pm
oops, we broke.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:21 pm
what was the safety doing?
September 16th, 2012 at 2:21 pm
Plenty of time to score, time to rock out, Josh.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:21 pm
Ny td came at a good time.
We need to regroup in the halftime.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:22 pm
Eli just sliced us up the middle down the field.
Bucs need to make adjustments against these TE routes over the middle.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:22 pm
let’s see the 2 minute offense
September 16th, 2012 at 2:23 pm
Bad time management
September 16th, 2012 at 2:23 pm
ouch
September 16th, 2012 at 2:24 pm
falling apart already.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:24 pm
Uggh
September 16th, 2012 at 2:24 pm
Thank god for Watson’s speed and hustle.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:24 pm
We just gave them lots of time to take the lead before half
September 16th, 2012 at 2:24 pm
Is it possible to keep Freeman and the Bucs defense focused???
September 16th, 2012 at 2:24 pm
We should have put Blount in and run him twice. Then hit a short pass to Clark. The momentum is shifting, Not GooD..
September 16th, 2012 at 2:24 pm
wtf???
too many 3rd and longs
September 16th, 2012 at 2:25 pm
I absolutely HATE how conservative our offensive playcalling is when we have a lead. This sh-t will NEVER work against a talented offense. Damn!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 2:25 pm
Well, apparently I should be thanking god for the penalty lol
September 16th, 2012 at 2:26 pm
No pass rush
September 16th, 2012 at 2:27 pm
Our defense looks very tired.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:27 pm
We are giving manning way to much time our d line is getting no pressure.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:28 pm
Horrible how we gave them the ball back!!
September 16th, 2012 at 2:29 pm
Where is the pass rush?
September 16th, 2012 at 2:29 pm
Our failed blitzes are looking like the Saints 2011.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:29 pm
Man Coverage!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 2:29 pm
HOLD THEM!!
September 16th, 2012 at 2:30 pm
I dont see anything going on with our DE’s in the rush game.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:30 pm
We hve to pray that the Giants implode.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:30 pm

September 16th, 2012 at 2:31 pm

September 16th, 2012 at 2:32 pm

September 16th, 2012 at 2:32 pm

September 16th, 2012 at 2:32 pm

September 16th, 2012 at 2:32 pm
HOLY HALEJUJAH!
September 16th, 2012 at 2:32 pm
Our DE #94 is a great downfield blocker, That play will make a few highlight reels
September 16th, 2012 at 2:33 pm
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 2:33 pm
Meadowlands now DEAD quiet, lol!
September 16th, 2012 at 2:34 pm
A timely prayer #237
September 16th, 2012 at 2:34 pm
Dominick hit on all cylinders this year.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:34 pm
so did we still overpay for wright?!?
September 16th, 2012 at 2:35 pm
That was an AMAZING run after the pick, too!
September 16th, 2012 at 2:35 pm
holy crap… 24points b efore halftime
September 16th, 2012 at 2:35 pm
They finally snuck a CB in there to stop those quick slants to Cruz. I wasn’t just impressed with the pick, but even more so with that awesome return by Wright. Incredible play!
September 16th, 2012 at 2:35 pm
Wow!!! Amazing what free agency will do with Wright and Jackson…… oh and lets not forget our guard.
Then you look at the draft picks of Martin, Barron and LaVonte David.
Then take into account McDonald and keeping all of our DBs….
What an offseason!
September 16th, 2012 at 2:36 pm
Listen to the boo birds
September 16th, 2012 at 2:36 pm
skookum, can’t you hear joe yellin? lol
September 16th, 2012 at 2:36 pm
Great first half. Now I hope they dont come out conservative like they did last week.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:36 pm
boo birds
September 16th, 2012 at 2:37 pm
ROCK STAR !
September 16th, 2012 at 2:37 pm
I tell you what, I am so impressed with our coaching staff. We look really prepared and focused since Schiano has taken over.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:37 pm
Let me just say…the Bucs are doing MUCH better against the Giants than I thought they would. I cannot believe how fast Schiano turned this defense around…and with no real free agent help.
And the offense is coming to life a little more each game.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:38 pm
Nice
September 16th, 2012 at 2:38 pm
Wright did allow quite a few plays today that turned into scores. I’d say yes, Lurker. Of course, I don’t really care what they pay people so long as we win.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:38 pm
Maybe Wright should be returning punts, that was brilliant
Clayborn blocking Eli reminds me of Sapp blocking Favre
September 16th, 2012 at 2:38 pm
No real FAs besides Wright I mean.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:38 pm
could the national tv announcers be any more biased towards the Giants?
September 16th, 2012 at 2:38 pm
Tampa looks awesome! We came to play and win this game!
September 16th, 2012 at 2:39 pm
Please don’t get conservative in the second half with playcalling. These aren’t the Kitties and Eli can score points in a hurry. We need to sustain drives with more intermediate passes and quick slants.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:39 pm
A. Luck is looking like a good pick for the Colts.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:40 pm
One thing is for sure: there is no more quite in this team. The coaching is clearly working.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:40 pm
Still not thrilled with Martin as a runner. Hasn’t shown me much in 1 1/2 games. Offense isn’t doing great, although looks like Free to Jackson is coming around. I can see Clark being more involved in the 2nd half. Defense is winning this game for us, but need more pressure on Eli. Talib is getting schooled out there. Foster looking very good.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:41 pm
I agree BamBam.
I would like to see what Blount can do with 10 or more runs too.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:42 pm
Raheem Morris……
September 16th, 2012 at 2:43 pm
@Rastaman – Who?
September 16th, 2012 at 2:44 pm
I hope they do some coaching at halftime.
I hate to say it but they may have to score 14 more points in the 2nd half to win.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:45 pm
I must admit that Nicks and Cruz are extremely tough to cover. Without those two guys the Giants would have no offense at all.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:45 pm
That was an amazing pick six by Wright, what a great runback too I would not expect that good of vision from him haha
September 16th, 2012 at 2:45 pm
I really hope Schiano is more like Bill Bellecheck (sp) than we think. Bill would stomp on their throat.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:49 pm
Finally Miguel Something I can agree with you on. We will definately have to keep scoring if we want to win this game.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:50 pm
bennnnnnn
September 16th, 2012 at 2:50 pm
Bennd Around,
OOppps
Benn up the Middle
September 16th, 2012 at 2:51 pm
nice run
September 16th, 2012 at 2:51 pm
Second Half with the lead=
Martin and Blount all day
September 16th, 2012 at 2:52 pm
y no blount yet?
September 16th, 2012 at 2:52 pm
how bout some Blount?
September 16th, 2012 at 2:52 pm
Smart move throwing it away.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:52 pm
1st half stats are for losers
September 16th, 2012 at 2:52 pm
Martin looks good but i think we should change it up and put blount in for a couple of plays.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:53 pm
Jackson of the pass defense
Almost an Interception
September 16th, 2012 at 2:53 pm
Nice play by Jackson
September 16th, 2012 at 2:53 pm
Points
September 16th, 2012 at 2:53 pm
Wow…that was a long kick.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:53 pm
Barth is so money. He hasn’t missed a field goal in the past 19 tries.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:54 pm
Barth is better than Grammatica!
September 16th, 2012 at 2:54 pm
good defense by Jax
September 16th, 2012 at 2:54 pm
what up with blount ?
September 16th, 2012 at 2:54 pm
“1st half stats are for losers”
That was actually funny…
September 16th, 2012 at 2:54 pm
Good drive
September 16th, 2012 at 2:55 pm
SilenceTheCritics
Took some effort to find a good kicker too.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:56 pm
Blount must be buried under the doghouse, just one touch so far.. They need to start using him to lbring the safeties up and open the passing lanes. If not Blount give Ware a few pops.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:56 pm
The Buc’s offense isn’t doing all that well. No turnovers but we aren’t moving the ball efficiently.
Our special teams look like garbage.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:56 pm
Blount must have broken the anti-hurdling rule
September 16th, 2012 at 2:56 pm
DAMN that was a close one
September 16th, 2012 at 2:56 pm
Wilson looked like Blount.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:56 pm
Talib is having a terrible game.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:57 pm
Freeman is so unfocused, deer in the head lights if you will, that he forced Vincent Jackson to become a CB.
Sheeeeesh!
September 16th, 2012 at 2:57 pm
We need to work on stripping the ball from Wilson.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:57 pm
what’s up with Freeman? 50% completion.
our defence is winning this game for us!
September 16th, 2012 at 2:58 pm
Buc Fan #237 Says:
September 16th, 2012 at 2:57 pm
Freeman is so unfocused, deer in the head lights if you will, that he forced Vincent Jackson to become a CB.
Sheeeeesh!
.
Are you freaking blind??? Offense scored 3 times so far!
September 16th, 2012 at 2:58 pm
Tick tock, tick tock
September 16th, 2012 at 2:58 pm
receivers seem to be forced to make acrobatic catches MOST of the time?
poor delivery of the ball ?
September 16th, 2012 at 2:59 pm
@Pete In all fairness, our defense has given us plenty of short fields.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:59 pm
Tailb gettin’ schooled 🙁
September 16th, 2012 at 2:59 pm
The BUCS defense is OFFICIALLY BACK!! LOVIN IT!
September 16th, 2012 at 2:59 pm
Big tip by Watson
September 16th, 2012 at 2:59 pm
Time for a long, long drive.
September 16th, 2012 at 2:59 pm
Ok time for some Blount force!
September 16th, 2012 at 3:00 pm
Let’s start moving those chains, tick tock
September 16th, 2012 at 3:00 pm
… and good contributions from ST
September 16th, 2012 at 3:00 pm
WHERE’S THOMAS????
BHAAHAHAHAHAA
September 16th, 2012 at 3:00 pm
Stopped them AGAIN.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:01 pm
Jason Aris
lol…Freeman is playing great. No costly mistakes. Defense only scored 6 points…don’t see how that is winning us the game. Freeman and his offense are making the most of those opportunities.
His completion % is low because he actually throws it away at times now…thereby reducing picks.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:01 pm
Hey joe is eric banned or is he just a sore loser?! Lol
September 16th, 2012 at 3:01 pm
I think Josh’s QB rating is far better than Eli”s imo
September 16th, 2012 at 3:01 pm
Nice 3rd down stop!
Free goes blind at times… he needs to look more like Eli, focused and in the game… minus the INTs.
We scored on all 3 gifts given by Eli and taken by our defense.
Seriously, the Bucs Freeman to man it up and keep his damn head in the game.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:02 pm
bush had a great run vs poor raider tackling.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:02 pm
Freeman is doing his job. Managing the game. The playcalling is what I don’t care for. They need to not watch the clock. The right-side of the line is doing well for backups.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:03 pm
Here comes tomorrow’s apologist argument…Ready?
“The Bucs only did so well because they have intimate knowledge of the Giants playbook, via Ware, Sullivan, etc.”
September 16th, 2012 at 3:03 pm
that’s what I was suggesting “HAND”. D – giving us short fields
The O had only a bit over 100 yds up to 5 mins into the third
September 16th, 2012 at 3:04 pm
omg great spot
September 16th, 2012 at 3:04 pm
I’d rather have a “blind” QB that doesn’t turn the ball over than a QB who is so far losing the game for his team(Eli).
September 16th, 2012 at 3:04 pm
However …
… we’ve been taking care of the ball.
decent drive here in the 3rd so far
September 16th, 2012 at 3:05 pm
lol @ Smitty. You are so right.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:05 pm
missed facemask
September 16th, 2012 at 3:05 pm
Martin is starting to get going.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:06 pm
Scratch that lol
September 16th, 2012 at 3:06 pm
Bout time for a Blount 40 yarder.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:06 pm
DUMBASS CALL PLAYING
September 16th, 2012 at 3:06 pm
Smitty
And the “Are the Giants a bad team this year?” line.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:06 pm
agree, Rick, damn scabs
September 16th, 2012 at 3:06 pm
PLAY CALLING …..sorry
September 16th, 2012 at 3:07 pm
Martins helmet was almost ripped off !
September 16th, 2012 at 3:07 pm
Raheem Morris….
September 16th, 2012 at 3:07 pm
Looks like Sully is going into conservative. Hate that. Hated it when Dungy coached as well.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:07 pm
We need Blount… or an Alstott type of muscle.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:07 pm
Damn it! Go for the kill, I hate play no to lose!
September 16th, 2012 at 3:07 pm
I should have registered an alt, and just straight TROLLED you guys after the game. You know…For the LOLZ.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:08 pm
where’s blount? we need him. a hamster is still small.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:08 pm
Why no blount? We are ahead and no blount?
September 16th, 2012 at 3:08 pm
3rd and 1 and they run. Doesn’t sound that awful to me. Although, the Giants already had 4 tackles for loss so….
September 16th, 2012 at 3:08 pm
I think the scabs are determined to call as few penalties as possible this week.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:09 pm
lmao – Smitty is on fire. It still could happen.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:09 pm
Vrap…Wright down.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:09 pm
I like the running the clock down… but we need more than Martin.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:09 pm
Crap too.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:10 pm
oh, oh Wright down, luckily we’ve got a zillion DBs
September 16th, 2012 at 3:11 pm
We were told all year that we were gonna be a running team. on 3rd and 1, a running team almost always runs the ball. I’m just surprised we were beat so badly on that run.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:11 pm
That doesn’t look good on Wright. Rib maybe.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:12 pm
Vincent Jackson has caught just about all of our passes today.
Just shows what the passing game would be without him.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:12 pm
Crack!
September 16th, 2012 at 3:12 pm
reggie bush td, again. a long one this time. 65 yrds.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:12 pm
Patrick
It also shows how bad the other WRs have been for us.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:13 pm
Barber picked…but Flag. Dang it.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:13 pm
Our QB is 6’6″ 250 lbs.. left gaurd is a road grader.. Should have snuck it on 3rd and 1
September 16th, 2012 at 3:13 pm
DAMN!
September 16th, 2012 at 3:13 pm
That’s what I meant Dutcher
September 16th, 2012 at 3:13 pm
Barber didn’t have control anyway.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:14 pm
Jackson has been great but Freeman has very pedestrian numbers………though he’s not making mistakes which is a very good thing.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:15 pm
Tick tock will the Bucs win the 3rd quarter?
September 16th, 2012 at 3:16 pm
Great COVER!!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 3:16 pm
McDonald is playing quite well. Where did this guy come from?
September 16th, 2012 at 3:17 pm
UGH! Talib is killing us.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:17 pm
Freaking talib is going to cost us this game at this rate.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:17 pm
Damn scabs
September 16th, 2012 at 3:17 pm
RAGE!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 3:17 pm
That looked like both guys were handchecking. Not pass Int.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:18 pm
Talib needs to get his head out of his butt!
September 16th, 2012 at 3:18 pm
Where is the DL we saw last week?
September 16th, 2012 at 3:18 pm
A sack would be nice
September 16th, 2012 at 3:20 pm
Nice job Barron!
September 16th, 2012 at 3:20 pm
need last week’s pressure on the qb
September 16th, 2012 at 3:21 pm
Fantastic stand! I am fine so long as they only get field goals.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:22 pm
DL is gassed, offense needs a long drive to get them some rest. Hello Blount, you there?
September 16th, 2012 at 3:22 pm
I’d feel pretty damned good all WEEK, if the Bucs offense can get a TD on this next possession.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:23 pm
A tied 3rd quarter (3-3) is actually a strong positive for the Bucs
Giants have to shut the Bucs down and score 2 times in the 4th
September 16th, 2012 at 3:23 pm
Ronde is really doing well at Safety. I could see the man being able to play another year there after this season.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:23 pm
Talib is being punked. He’s holding on every play. They are throwing at him on every play. He’s getting beat on every play
September 16th, 2012 at 3:24 pm
Would we see Morris over there teaching his offense as head coach? Nope!
September 16th, 2012 at 3:24 pm
Schiano needs to give Talib some help.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:25 pm
Wow. Cleaned his clock!
September 16th, 2012 at 3:25 pm
Wher’s the damn flag!!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 3:25 pm
QUIT PASSING THE BALL!!!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 3:26 pm
OMG.
*pops a nitro under tongue*
September 16th, 2012 at 3:26 pm
Sigh…his first pick. Refs are killing us as much as Talib.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:26 pm
Stop passing!! Where is BLOUNT!?!?
September 16th, 2012 at 3:26 pm
Freeman you f-cking idiot.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:27 pm
Freeman…..1…2…3…4…throw
Brad Johnson
September 16th, 2012 at 3:27 pm
Oy.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:27 pm
why is freeman not running anymore?
September 16th, 2012 at 3:27 pm
Sorry guys……..but Freeman is just not very good!!
September 16th, 2012 at 3:27 pm
Lay off Freeman. He’s not doing bad. We’re winning a game against a top 5 QB who has 3 picks, and you guys complain on one pick.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:28 pm
No call?
September 16th, 2012 at 3:28 pm
wrong patrick !
September 16th, 2012 at 3:28 pm
I do think Free should have ran, but it’s still a pretty good game by him.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:29 pm
freeman had daylight and yet he stayed in the pocket
September 16th, 2012 at 3:29 pm
Refs have cost us 30yds
September 16th, 2012 at 3:29 pm
Why does Free not run when theres huge lanes for him? This is about to get ugly if the D does not hold them to 3 pts
September 16th, 2012 at 3:30 pm
Barron loves those out of bounds moves 😛
September 16th, 2012 at 3:31 pm
TD on this drive by the Giants and it’s a whole new ballgame. Where is our offense anyway? Our defense is carrying us and we spent a fortune on offensive help.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:31 pm
The open lanes for Freeman to run are bait.
Foster down…crap.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:32 pm
Bucs defense has 10 pass deflections and 3 ints. I don’t know what more they can do. It is really up to the offense now.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:32 pm
http://thehammerofresistance.com/sites/thehammerofresistance.com/files/images/braveheart-hold-original.jpg
September 16th, 2012 at 3:33 pm
Talib can not cover anything today.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:33 pm
Nooooooo!
September 16th, 2012 at 3:34 pm
What the Bucs D can do is STOP them from scoring more points…it’s what they are paid to do.
We do have some great players on defense this year.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:34 pm
great job barron…
rays rallying
September 16th, 2012 at 3:35 pm
DEEFENCE! HOLD’EM
September 16th, 2012 at 3:36 pm
This is AWESOME again.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:36 pm
Talib has gotten victimized today. Looks like a little boy out there. Too bad, this could have been something of a coming out party for him
September 16th, 2012 at 3:37 pm
Offense needs a really long drive, even if they just get a field goal. The Defense needs rest.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:37 pm
Ironically, Justin, Biggers would have been much, much worse.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:37 pm
C’mon Blount!
September 16th, 2012 at 3:38 pm
OK Sullivan, RUN THE f’king ball with Blount!!
Geez………can’t believe we’re having to say that again
September 16th, 2012 at 3:38 pm
Dutch, true that. This second half has been no fun to watch at ALL. Bucs defense cannot get off the field. ZERO pressure on Manning without bringing a ‘backer.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:38 pm
They really do need to change up backs. Giants are getting use to Martin now. Blount has a different style.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:38 pm
2 on, 2 out, jennings down 1-2
September 16th, 2012 at 3:39 pm
struck out looking
September 16th, 2012 at 3:39 pm
I saw blount in that last shot!!
September 16th, 2012 at 3:39 pm
While I’m complaining, the commercials are soooooo overdone. I want to sit down and watch football, not commercials.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:39 pm
Offense has to close this game out…
September 16th, 2012 at 3:39 pm
Wonder if not putting Blount in is related to the “non” injury?
September 16th, 2012 at 3:40 pm
so now we start fast and end slow? lmao
and we still complain
September 16th, 2012 at 3:40 pm
Talib- better citizen, lesser cover corner??
September 16th, 2012 at 3:41 pm
nvm
September 16th, 2012 at 3:41 pm
blount in doghouse?
September 16th, 2012 at 3:41 pm
Larsen limping a bit.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:42 pm
I’m complaining about winning a game. THIS HALF BITES.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:43 pm
Excellent blocking on that play.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:43 pm
Wow…Freeman could have made hotel reservations with all the time he just had. Good coverage downfield though.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:44 pm
Schiano has a bit of a headache lol
September 16th, 2012 at 3:44 pm
Nicks just made someone eat dirt!
September 16th, 2012 at 3:44 pm
Blount = red headed step child
September 16th, 2012 at 3:44 pm
RAGE REDUX!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 3:44 pm
@ Pete lol Indeed.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:45 pm
I feel like Schiano, Migraine is from no Blount or Ware.. WTH!
September 16th, 2012 at 3:46 pm
saints down 20 – 35 to the panthers and they missed on a 4th and 4.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:46 pm
EVEN IF the Giants find some way to come back and win…this team is showing itself to be a contender this year.
They’ve gotten better each game too.
Last week, the offense scored once. This week three times so far. They ARE getting better.
Best of all…they are showing we can run with the bog boys this game.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:46 pm
Too predictable on the play calling. Way too predictable. At some point this is going to bite Sullivan in the ass. Hopefully not today.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:47 pm
schiano thinks he has a bell cow but really he has a bell calf
September 16th, 2012 at 3:47 pm
we need the bull in there
September 16th, 2012 at 3:47 pm
Why are we trying to sit on this lead??????
September 16th, 2012 at 3:47 pm
OMG…Williams just needs to go backwards a couple steps.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:48 pm
DAMN IT, Get the f’king FIRST DOWN
September 16th, 2012 at 3:48 pm
I think Coach Schiano might be slightly upset.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:48 pm
You can’t sit on an 8 point lead with 9 minutes left. Awful coaching.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:49 pm
A fresh Blount would decimate that defense at this point. Schiano is mad too.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:49 pm
@Pete Dutcher
There’s no excuse for not winning this game. We better win……it’s right in front us if we just keep the ball moving for once.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:49 pm
Keep in mind…Sully is a rookie too.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:49 pm
I’m glad we have Koenen.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:49 pm
MW, too much spinning and juking
September 16th, 2012 at 3:50 pm
I agree Patrick…I didn’t expect us to be in this position. We need to stomp on their throats.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:50 pm
Run on 1st and 2nd. Throw on 3rd. Everyone knows. Be aggressive and FInish.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:50 pm
WHERE IS BLOUNT?!
September 16th, 2012 at 3:51 pm
Is there a health issue with Blount? There is no reason not to put a fresh set of legs in to protect this lead.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:52 pm
This isn’t college…ultra conservative offense with a lead won’t work week in and week out in the NFL. This is sooooo frustrating to watch I feel like punching the screen.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:52 pm
mike williams out-wilied himself.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:53 pm
Piss.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:53 pm
Let’s hope they stop the 2 point conversion.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:53 pm
oh oh, will they go for 2
September 16th, 2012 at 3:54 pm
We need to take away those underneath routes.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:54 pm
Well, saw that coming. was only a matter of time.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:54 pm
Sitting on leads is for losers
September 16th, 2012 at 3:54 pm
this is the G;men – we can’t try to hold onto the lead …
September 16th, 2012 at 3:54 pm
Ronde = beat
Barron = a safety not playing deep enough
September 16th, 2012 at 3:54 pm
CRAAAAAAAAAP!!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 3:54 pm
PISS OFF
September 16th, 2012 at 3:54 pm
go BUUUUUCCCCSSSSS!
September 16th, 2012 at 3:54 pm
Un f-cking believable.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:54 pm
somebody had Eli and missed
September 16th, 2012 at 3:54 pm
that was a great timeout!
September 16th, 2012 at 3:55 pm
Horrible coaching.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:55 pm
Maybe the Bucs will stop screwing around now and win the freaking game.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:55 pm
Now the crowd is back in the game
September 16th, 2012 at 3:55 pm
Remember guys, this team is doing awfully well considering the opponent. No one outside of us homers picked them to win.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:55 pm
Nice play call Sully
September 16th, 2012 at 3:55 pm
We need the 2010 Freeman now.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:56 pm
There’s what your conservative offense earns you, Schiano. Or Sullivan. This sucks to watch.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:56 pm
wow, wtf
start fast, end slow, no blount…
September 16th, 2012 at 3:56 pm
Here comes a Freeman sack and/or INT .
September 16th, 2012 at 3:56 pm
At least the TV announcers are happy with the game now
September 16th, 2012 at 3:56 pm
Have A Nice Day
That is a very good attitude. 🙂
September 16th, 2012 at 3:56 pm
It is going to be deafening when Freeman takes the field.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:57 pm
Errr.. Sherry /:
September 16th, 2012 at 3:57 pm
You can’t win in the NFL these days being conservative.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:57 pm
WE’VE GIVEN UP SO much YARDS!!
September 16th, 2012 at 3:57 pm
Man this blitzing is killing us.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:57 pm
Still not passing??? They need to pass on 2nd down.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:58 pm
If we don’t score on this drive I’m turning it off and doing something better with my time.
September 16th, 2012 at 3:58 pm
Freeman has not been effective at all
September 16th, 2012 at 3:58 pm
we lose
September 16th, 2012 at 3:58 pm
How was that not pass interference?
September 16th, 2012 at 3:59 pm
Remember guys………this is who we spent our first round pick on
September 16th, 2012 at 4:00 pm
I don’t care what you naysayers say…Freeman is a keeper.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:00 pm
BUCS O’ just INEFFECTIVE! CAN you imagine a 3 and out (fuming)
September 16th, 2012 at 4:00 pm
F-ck you Tampa Bay. I’m out. What a waste of my afternoon.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:00 pm
Has Eli even been hit?
September 16th, 2012 at 4:00 pm
BAD SIGN: Sullivan is even more stubborn with Blount than Olsen
September 16th, 2012 at 4:00 pm
Look at Talib holding again.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:00 pm
If we lose this one, it is on Shiano.
Fourth and one at the 50 and we play not to lose.
And a timeout and then an 80 yard TD? I’d be surprised if teams ran the ball more than 10 times a game against us the rest of the season.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:01 pm
Have the giants gone 3 and out once this game?
September 16th, 2012 at 4:01 pm
If I kill myself tonight, it is Talib’s fault lol
September 16th, 2012 at 4:02 pm
Our front four is getting worn down. No pressure without blitzing.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:02 pm
Get outta here FBID.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:02 pm
Mark 2001
I would say Schiano’s defense played the better game this week.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:02 pm
I think our D is out of gas.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:02 pm
I wish Lavonte would have check out of that blitz.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:02 pm
Eli releases the ball so fast the blitz will not work. Just paly cover 2 and keep them in front of you.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:02 pm
CHOKE CHOKE like Texas A&M.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:03 pm
STOP BLITZING!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:03 pm
Game over unless Freeman can do the same.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:03 pm
Bucs are gassed, maybe time to stick a fork in em.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:03 pm
were fkd
September 16th, 2012 at 4:03 pm
The lack of pressure, after seeing so much of it last week against a far better OL, is astounding.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:03 pm
Over 400 yard passing.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:03 pm
freeman working within the system. i think he has been neutered.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:04 pm
Talk about crash and burn. This could set us up for another long run of shame. We added a quite a bit of talent of year. When is the coaching going to make a difference?
September 16th, 2012 at 4:04 pm
we blew it !
September 16th, 2012 at 4:04 pm
really, really
September 16th, 2012 at 4:04 pm
Freeman cant play.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:04 pm
We played like Yucs in the second half that’s for sure!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:04 pm
I love 1st half Schiano. DESPISE 2nd half Schiano. What a joke. Why do we keep blitzing????? It’s not working.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:05 pm
too conservative in the 2nd half.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:05 pm
At least Sullivan will open up his play book now
September 16th, 2012 at 4:06 pm
Idiotic defensive play calling and and a QB that just sucks
September 16th, 2012 at 4:06 pm
there isn’t much rotation for the D-line.
We needed to O’ to have some long sustained drives
remember guys, this is a team in MAJOR transition (coaches, players, coordinators) etc
September 16th, 2012 at 4:06 pm
Actually, we are still way short on talent. Probably need 8-9 new starters to be a SB contender. Including QB, 2 OL, TB, TE, 2 CB, OLB, S.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:06 pm
@Pete Dutcher
Why are you defending Freeman!!! He’s sucked bad in this game. I mean…….a franchise QB should be able to make a long drive at least ONCE in the second half when you have a big lead like we had earlier.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:06 pm
Wow
September 16th, 2012 at 4:06 pm
18 4th quarter points will kill you everytime.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:06 pm
hopefully!!!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:06 pm
wow, manning stats
September 16th, 2012 at 4:06 pm
these are the New Yark Football Giants (Superbowl Champions)
September 16th, 2012 at 4:06 pm
Maybe not
September 16th, 2012 at 4:06 pm
Unfortunaely , we HAVE to pass now.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:06 pm
The defense is just too tired.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:07 pm
OUT COACHED!!!!! 14 POINT LEAD AND WE START RUNNING THE BALL!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:07 pm
Amateur hour. Nice drafting Dom. Maybe as we got rid of major problem number 2 at the end of last year we can get rid of you, major problem number 1 at the end of this year.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:07 pm
D Clark!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:07 pm
Finally a play to Clark..
September 16th, 2012 at 4:07 pm
wtf, haters go home you losers!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:07 pm
What a joke.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:08 pm
patrick, we run, run, 3rd and long. not exactly all freeman’s fault
September 16th, 2012 at 4:08 pm
why are they takin so much time??
September 16th, 2012 at 4:09 pm
Finally we are throwing to the TE.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:09 pm
Better coaching now. Using Clark to pull off Jackson.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:09 pm
AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:09 pm
TOUCHDOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:09 pm
unbelievable !
September 16th, 2012 at 4:09 pm
THATS THE WAY ITS DONE!!!! GO BIG MW!!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:09 pm
Where was this offense the whole second half?
September 16th, 2012 at 4:09 pm
Why does it always take being behind behind to finally wake us up?
Keep it up Freeman!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:10 pm
FIRE THE CANNONS!
again receiver has to make acrobatic catch
September 16th, 2012 at 4:10 pm
TOUCHDOWN!!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:10 pm
way to go!!!!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:10 pm
Nice TD, who knew Dallas Clark was on the roster
September 16th, 2012 at 4:10 pm
Jason…it’s tight coverage. Stop complaining.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:10 pm
See what happens when you’re aggressive??????
September 16th, 2012 at 4:11 pm
Now stop flippin blitzing when we CANNOT win the 1 on 1’s damit
September 16th, 2012 at 4:11 pm
who thought we coulda hung with the G’men… ?
seriously – WHO?
which one of you REALLY THOUGHT that?
NOT ME!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:11 pm
Watching the Colts blow their game too. Well, at least we have company…near the bottom, but we do have company.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:11 pm
Sorry, but I just don’t get the Freeman sucks thing. The Bucs play conservative offense, and the QB does what he’s supposed to. Including 4th quarter comebacks when they need them. How about focusing on the defense that keeps giving up 300-400 passing yards.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:11 pm
Jump ball Mike Will!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:11 pm
HOLD THEM AND GET THE BALL BACK. I DON’T WANT OVERTIME!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:11 pm
lol, where was this and clark all game?
September 16th, 2012 at 4:11 pm
RICAN
/signed
A pick 6 would be great right now, since the D got some time to rest.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:12 pm
Now….. NO MORE BLITZING. Make tard Eli beat coverage.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:12 pm
Oh, you negative Nancies are KILLING me, today.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME????
September 16th, 2012 at 4:13 pm
I agree Jason, I was just looking for effort and to play them close. It’s still a learning process. Hopefully win or lose they learn and make adjustments. Coaches and players
September 16th, 2012 at 4:13 pm
just a 4 and out or a turnover will do, i’m not greedy for a pick 6
September 16th, 2012 at 4:14 pm
Gerald who? He needs to take over the game if we want any chance of winning
September 16th, 2012 at 4:14 pm
IT’S Cool Pete. I’m not watching the game. I’m in Jamaica LOL.
I was just making the comment. I just wonder about Freeman putting the ball on the right spot.
Anyway enjoy the rest if the game …
September 16th, 2012 at 4:14 pm
lets go D !
September 16th, 2012 at 4:14 pm
I am missing Wright so bad right now. McDonald is clearly not ready for a starting gig.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:15 pm
Once again the blitz kills us.. get the hint, NO MORE BLITZES.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:15 pm
how does that happen? wide open
September 16th, 2012 at 4:15 pm
hope McCoy (Geraldini) hasn’t pulled a Houdini.
Did someone say – LET’S FORGET THE BLITZ –
aaahhhh
September 16th, 2012 at 4:15 pm
Why do we blitz a safety all day? It doesn’t work. Morons.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:15 pm
We’re one pick six away from a victory!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:15 pm
Where is the Freakin Pass Rush?!?!?!?!
Blitz all day and Manning Too Smart
or Secondary too bad
= Giants points
September 16th, 2012 at 4:15 pm
Time to bench Talib
September 16th, 2012 at 4:16 pm
LET’S GO D!
We need to hold on for this WIN and get healthy this week !
September 16th, 2012 at 4:16 pm
Jason,
Who would have thought Eli could play so badly, and we could have choked so badly. We had them by the throat. Are you saying the that if Eli hadn’t sucked so badly, the Giants should have won by 40 points, as they are that much better than we are? Well you might be right.
Looks like Colts will pull it out. Stand aside Colts, we’re coming though. Of course, the way Dom drafts, what difference does it make?
September 16th, 2012 at 4:16 pm
STOP BLITZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:16 pm
How come everyone seems to know where the ball is going except us? Still impressive game by Freeman IMO
September 16th, 2012 at 4:16 pm
lloked to nicks the whole way
September 16th, 2012 at 4:16 pm
manning is at 500+ yds passing! aawww man
September 16th, 2012 at 4:16 pm
talib can’t cover
September 16th, 2012 at 4:16 pm
#237 How about one of those prayers now
September 16th, 2012 at 4:16 pm
Again the blitz we deserve this loss end of story and than u tackle him so we can run out the clock.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:16 pm
Would’ve been better if they scored cause they’re gonna run it down!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:16 pm
510 FREAKING PASS YARDS. THE BLITZ IS NOT WORKING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:17 pm
Should’ve let them score!!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:17 pm
Bullsh!t
September 16th, 2012 at 4:17 pm
WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:17 pm
So they*
September 16th, 2012 at 4:17 pm
wow, the real miguel grande is not bad to be around.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:18 pm
lmao we were trying to let them score and he hit the ground.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:18 pm
bulls lose, rays lose, bucs …
September 16th, 2012 at 4:18 pm
SO last year teams ran for records
THIS year it is Record Pass Yards against us
Common theme is
Defensive Line is Horrible.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:19 pm
Is that an example of the Schiano way??
Laying down on defense?
Bucs are going to be the laughingstock of the NFL if they don’t pull out a miracle
September 16th, 2012 at 4:19 pm
Hopefully the Bucs coaching staff learned a lesson today that I learned in middle school….. Dont sit on leads. and don’t blitz all day when it doesn’t work.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:19 pm
Well…at least they proved they can run with the big boys now. If they did this well against the Giants, once we get passed the Cowboys we should be pretty hard to beat.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:19 pm
Where was Dallas Clark before that drive?
September 16th, 2012 at 4:19 pm
we must agree – we HAVE BEEN competitive.
let’s hope we can make a game of it.
I think we all know that we’re a few pieces short of a big-time team (my humble opinion)
September 16th, 2012 at 4:19 pm
Now special teams chimes in….what a waste.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:19 pm
@BucNekid Last week our DL destroyed the Panthers. The problem is clearly the coverage.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:20 pm
Is Raheem still the coach?????
September 16th, 2012 at 4:20 pm
To put it in another perspective, never, in the history of pro football, have Bill Bellicheck and Greg Schiano lost the same day. Think about it.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:20 pm
After the first blown 5 man to mans you think they would stop??? WTF!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:21 pm
GO BUCS, GO BUCS, GO BUCS
September 16th, 2012 at 4:21 pm
Good job passing on Mo Claiborne. Bucs didn’t need a corner or anything
September 16th, 2012 at 4:21 pm
Te problems lie in a stagnant offense and poor coverage.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:21 pm
damn, you hater suck…there are lots of positives
September 16th, 2012 at 4:22 pm
NO F’ING WAY!!!!!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:22 pm
Adam, Mark Barron has had a great game. I’m happy with the pick.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:22 pm
GO BUCS GO BUCS GO BUCS
September 16th, 2012 at 4:22 pm
Lessons learned. Nicks is always allowed to push off but you can’t touch him. And this is what going conservative on offense too early gets you. Josh is eating up this secondary but they went soft way too early.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:22 pm
CRAP!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:22 pm
perfect throw by Josh
September 16th, 2012 at 4:23 pm
PLEASE mike. hope your feet are in and ! catch made!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:23 pm
Tough call.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:23 pm
i believe it is the playcalling holding freeman back
September 16th, 2012 at 4:23 pm
3 steps inbounds.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:23 pm
Wow what luck…
September 16th, 2012 at 4:24 pm
Wish Josh could’ve done this earlier.
Trivia: We haven’t scored 40 points since the Super Bowl win
September 16th, 2012 at 4:24 pm
that is a close call. I think it was a catch
September 16th, 2012 at 4:24 pm
incomplete pass…
September 16th, 2012 at 4:24 pm
Two steps is possession right?
September 16th, 2012 at 4:24 pm
come on refs err on the side of the BUCS
September 16th, 2012 at 4:24 pm
That was a completion
Announcers suck
September 16th, 2012 at 4:25 pm
these are new refs, they don’t know the rules
September 16th, 2012 at 4:25 pm
thanks for the trivia Patrick! re the 40 pts
September 16th, 2012 at 4:25 pm
What time does the riot start?
September 16th, 2012 at 4:25 pm
and scabs suck
September 16th, 2012 at 4:25 pm
crappy call.game!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:25 pm
Bad call!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:25 pm
The Giants need a controversial call to beat the Bucs. They need to do some serious introspection.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:25 pm
Game over.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:25 pm
we need a makeup call
September 16th, 2012 at 4:26 pm
F”K YOU REF!!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:26 pm
WTF pick??
September 16th, 2012 at 4:26 pm
what riot Smitty?
September 16th, 2012 at 4:27 pm
Bucs get an F- for this piss poor 2nd half
September 16th, 2012 at 4:27 pm
Lots of positives my ass. Playing not to lose all half is for LOSERS
September 16th, 2012 at 4:27 pm
That ball had to be in the end zone. WTF are they telling Freeman?
Make sure the ball goes into the end zone
September 16th, 2012 at 4:27 pm
Well…I suppose we know why Schiano kept so many DBs.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:27 pm
how is this team and coaching not better than last year’s 0-10 effort?
September 16th, 2012 at 4:27 pm
Competitive…with Manning throwing three big picks.
If it hadn’t been for these kind of gifts, it wouldn’t by any stretch of the imagination been competitive.
My 8-8 looks pretty shaky. Like Troy said, good teams find a way to get it done. This team didn’t get it done….(and isn’t a very good team).
September 16th, 2012 at 4:27 pm
We had a chance to get noticed and respected today and we DIDN’T DO IT
September 16th, 2012 at 4:27 pm
terrible call!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:27 pm
Ok folks, We saw good things and some bad things from the team. Let’s hope next week they improve. See you then.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:28 pm
F U Josh Freeman F U!!!!!!!!!!!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:28 pm
Typical results of a Young team,
Not enough depth to hold on…
Too conservative on play calling
Miss Davin Joseph more than you know…
Bucs were not supposed to win this one from preseason out look…
Season still looks more promising than 4-12 last year would lend you to believe
Later Gents
September 16th, 2012 at 4:28 pm
receiver Must maintain possession when going to the ground!
the RULE sucks!
Is it unreasonable that a player is trying to break his fall when going to the ground and may release the ball as such?
September 16th, 2012 at 4:29 pm
Refs burned us 3 times in this game…and each time cost us badly.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:29 pm
Patrick? when was the last time we scored 34 pts?
September 16th, 2012 at 4:29 pm
Damn Freeman is mediocre.
If he was playing like a 4th year pro, then we would’ve won
Freeman looks shockingly mediocre.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:29 pm
Lurker…they should be with the FA signings and high first round draft picks.
Are we that much better? Well, we fooled Carolina, so I wouldn’t say that until I see more W’s, and who knows when that will come.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:29 pm
well, snook, if you can’t see improvement then you are blind, ignorant, or too emotional. hysterical much?
September 16th, 2012 at 4:30 pm
Romo will have another career day against us if our D doesn’t get it together!!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:30 pm
Refs were horrible in this game too. Missed call on Martin facemask was big. But in the end, horrible game management lost this game.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:30 pm
Change the name of the team to the d*** Tampa bay safety blitzers. My god. Stop blitzing safeties and corners when we are getting killed onthe outside.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:30 pm
Wow, what happened to the rush and db’s
September 16th, 2012 at 4:30 pm
jason, it was incomplete.
Well fought guys. Let’s beat the cowgirls next week.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:30 pm
We really need to get Mike Williams, Dallas Clark, and Sammie Stroughter worked into the passing game earlier.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:31 pm
there is no way i thought a turnaround would happen in one year. it is a multiyear effort. however, the effort is there. the teamwork is there. the coaching is there. the coordinators, well, i don’t know. they are new too.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:31 pm
Unfortunately Freeman is still a remnant of the Rah/Olsen era. Slow starts……finally started rolling at the end of the game.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:32 pm
Did we have any Defensive backs on the field today?
September 16th, 2012 at 4:32 pm
Bucs couldn’t hold the line in the fourth. I think I will go outside and cry now!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:32 pm
Hold on you negative Nancy’s.
Patrick Says:
September 16th, 2012 at 4:27 pm
We had a chance to get noticed and respected today and we DIDN’T DO IT
.
This is simply not true. No one expected us to even compete in this game…and we controlled most of it. Against the Superbowl champs.
To the contrary…I believe we earned some respect, even without a win.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:33 pm
“Well fought guys. Let’s beat the cowgirls next week.”
Not happening if our D has another game like this.
Romo has always torched our D everytime we play them.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:34 pm
Freeman has the talents to be elite, but does he have the brain or the balls?
Anyone see Coughlin ripping Schiano after the game? Wonder what that was about?
September 16th, 2012 at 4:35 pm
never heard much from our D-line, but we weren’t overrun by their D-line also.
We were supposed to get killed by their D-line. Decent job my the O’line?
September 16th, 2012 at 4:35 pm
about all the injuries the bucs caused…lol
September 16th, 2012 at 4:35 pm
Freeman has always done this………suddenly wake up in the 4th quarter when it’s too late.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:35 pm
This was a win. But turning off your offense in the middle of the 3rd quarter is unacceptable. The Giants didn’t stop us all day until we got conservative. This loss is all on Schiano.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:36 pm
Uh oh, a head coaching dust up at midfield
September 16th, 2012 at 4:36 pm
Note to coaching staff: Barber should NEVER be left out for single deep coverage! Put McDonald back on the bars tool. What happened to the 2 headed monster of Martin and Blunt? We must figure out how to get both rolling at the same time! We put the ball in Freeman’s hands to either win or lose and he blew it, even if the scrub refs blew the previous call (expected)! I would say he better step up his game or he will go the way of his backup Orlovski. Heart breaker but Freeman and the second half defense blew it. Go Bucs!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:36 pm
Seriously, anytime Freeman wants to step up and deliver would be great.
He has the potential to be a game changer, and it is time to SEE IT!

no Steve K. hopefully the media will ask coach about the Coughlin thing.
did they shake hands?
September 16th, 2012 at 4:36 pm
Folks…this is a new defense. Carolina had no idea what we were going to do. New York seemed to have a pretty good idea. Let’s see how our D holds up the next month. Then we will know if it is any better. I didn’t see it today. We have a better run defense, but we give up much more big plays. Most yards given up since the 1950’s. Seems like we took some things away and gave some things up.
The judgment is out whether this team is really better or not.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:37 pm
Earned respect? No one respects us when we win. Why would they do it when we lose? Morons.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:38 pm
Need offense, let them play…. Defense trying to hold onto lead is
a horrible way to play a game. Reminds me of dungy days…without the picks the bucs are blown out…. Spent alot of money on offense use it.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:38 pm
love the holding every play by talib, lol. just like in the trenches, they don’t call it every time.
kidding, of course. talib needs more discipline and help.
also, where was blount.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:39 pm
“Most yards given up since the 1950′s.”
Well what do you know?? Our defense sets yet another record.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:39 pm
dallas down 10-naught to the saehawks
September 16th, 2012 at 4:40 pm
Our D still sucks. That’s for sure. I think we just blitzed and didn’t get through again! How many yards did we give up today? 600
September 16th, 2012 at 4:42 pm
easy now snook.
any word on Buc injuries?
September 16th, 2012 at 4:43 pm
we have a new record on the most idiotic crybaby fans since 1976.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:45 pm
Wow, win or lose that was fun to watch. Way to many passing yards allowed, Talib being left alone to deal with Nicks all day was a mistake, Giants O-line did a nice job against our D-line we didn’t get the pressure we needed on Eli. Looks lime the Giants found a 3 down back in Brown. Nice day by VJax and Williams.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:46 pm
I am not upset about the loss, I am upset about 510 passing yards. I hate to lose but this is a good benchmark.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:46 pm
@Jason Aris,
The Bucs D angrily charged the last play when Eli was going to take a knee. NFL RedZone also said, “fists were thrown at the bottom of the pile…. The two coaches did not shake hands.”
September 16th, 2012 at 4:47 pm
wow, the number of comments equals the number of yards given up, huh. or close to it, lol.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:47 pm
Lol @ coughlin pissed at Shiano during the handshake !
September 16th, 2012 at 4:48 pm
holycrap, i agree with architek
September 16th, 2012 at 4:49 pm
well, that’s not bad if true, steve k. play to the whistle and the end of the game. new mentality that the bucs needed.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:49 pm
Cowgirls and Romo next up
September 16th, 2012 at 4:51 pm
I remember warren sapp saying early in the preseason that his biggest concern with ronde at safety is that he is a gambler and will get caught out for the big play, which is exactly what happened on that80 yd td. But then again we weren’t complaining last week were we lol?
September 16th, 2012 at 4:52 pm
I’m really afraid of what Romo could do this defense. Wright needs to get healthy !
September 16th, 2012 at 4:52 pm
Then RGIII.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:52 pm
@lurker,
C’mon man, WE BLEW IT!
We should have put that game away. Our D got exposed bc Freeman isn’t the truth.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:54 pm
Hey look at the bright side of things, the Buc’s now don’t have to pay Talib, he is no elite corner maybe not even a starting corner.
P.S. wait till Atlanta get’s done with him, this guy is bad, move Ronda back to corner and let Black play free safety.
September 16th, 2012 at 4:55 pm
If RGIII can put up 40 points on the Saints in NO, how much will he score here in a couple of weeks?
September 16th, 2012 at 4:55 pm
Can’t believe this hasn’t been said yet but Mike Williams caught that ball. It would have put us closer and in position to win the game!
September 16th, 2012 at 4:58 pm
gus. apparently (I never saw it) he did NOT maintain possession going to the ground
September 16th, 2012 at 4:59 pm
@Gus
That’s what happens when you have replacement refs!! F’k them!!
September 16th, 2012 at 5:00 pm
Corncern about Talib though. it seems like he was ‘abused”?
September 16th, 2012 at 5:01 pm
@lurker
We’re being pretty fair critics here……….Freeman should be playing much better for a 1st round pick…..I like him, I’m just saying!
September 16th, 2012 at 5:02 pm
Gus is right that was a catch and a fumble out of bounds
September 16th, 2012 at 5:02 pm
The point is Gus that we shouldn’t have been in that position. We wouldn’t stop blitzing safeties and corners even though Talib was having trouble with nicks. And we shut our offense down again in the second half. You can play like this if you wan to beat good teams. You can’t blitz safes every down.
September 16th, 2012 at 5:03 pm
@Jason, abused ? , how about,
*Trashed
*Hammed
*Schooled
*Dominated
*Owned
*Raped
September 16th, 2012 at 5:23 pm
THIS JUST IN: Raheem Morris spotted on the Bucs sideline today.
September 16th, 2012 at 5:26 pm
man …
Nick … it was THAT BAD? did he look banged up (hamstring)?
or was he just schooled by a good receiver?
as i said b4 I never saw the game
September 16th, 2012 at 5:28 pm
nick that’s a “graphic” response man!
were his two hands tied behind his back?
September 16th, 2012 at 5:28 pm
fair on freeman, perhaps. i just see it as he is being neutered. they are soooo worried about his turnovers that they have him being too conservative. he is not rolling out or running like 2010. he made some nice passes today and some not so good passes. i believe the playcalling, especially, the run on first, run on second, now its 3rd and long is not helping his situation.
September 16th, 2012 at 5:29 pm
aw Patrick …
Raheem ‘hangover” still happening?
September 16th, 2012 at 5:37 pm
it could be Lurker – re freeman.
I think the O-coordinator is still trying to figure out how best to use Freeman, and what calls to make when.
As I said b4, this is a team in MAJOR transition!
September 16th, 2012 at 7:15 pm
The only thing that got us beat was the stupidity of our insistent blitzing leaving the man to man coverage. It was like we literally wanted to lose? 3 times in a row? What? That literally is laughable. It’s a joke.
September 16th, 2012 at 8:48 pm
Talib got lit up like Christmas light though, ugh they put on a route clinic for Talib.
September 16th, 2012 at 8:57 pm
Lurker whatever your statement was intended for, I am and will always try to be fair but I just say the things some of you may be afraid to say or look at. I see so many little details being missed with these players and you dont have to be a proofessional to see it. Mike Williams double move hurt, dropped screens by Martin, and busted details on rerouting receivers to help by the secondary costs us big time. My God the DLine just looked overmatched today.
I strongly agree that we are going to be a very good team this year but these are the fine print things that separate winning teams from losing teams. We have to get pass playing with the big boys to beating the big boys by doing what the bog boys do. Also Dallas Clark has be utilized more often on 3rd down earlier to help us. I am very happy with what Schiano is doing with this franchise.
As to your remark, I have no negative words for you. I am not a part of any of you all childish alliances.
