Bucs At Cowboys, Open Thread
September 23rd, 2012
OK boys and girls, here’s your weekly playpen to hash things bout during a Bucs game. As always, please behave and while you cannot post links to pirated feeds of games, you may e-mail them among yourselves. Joe hopes you enjoy the game.
September 23rd, 2012 at 10:32 am
I’ve got a good feeling about this game. The cowboys have had our number as of late, but IF we can get some pressure on Romo today, I think the Bucs win this one pulling away….27-14 Bucs!! I also think Dallas Clark has a big day in Dallas and Martin gets his first 100yd. Rushing day! GO BUCS!!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 10:35 am
That sounds good to me!
September 23rd, 2012 at 10:44 am
Adrian claybourne will get his first sack. Aqib will get his first pick. #BoldPrediction
September 23rd, 2012 at 11:11 am
I wanna see Melissa Stark in that little outfit…yum…
Hope we pick on moclay all day. The cowgirls have a way of throwing pie in their own faces the last 10 years, so with this being the home opener of 2012, what better time or place to showcase that!! LOL!! Thats just the feeling I have. Romo will either choke or be on….I hope he chokes.
September 23rd, 2012 at 11:29 am
Bucs will beat down the over-rated Cowboys 31-20. We beat the over-rated Panthers, pushed the very good Giants team to the final seconds. This week we start putting it all together in all 3 phases, play a full 60 minutes and don’t give the Boys a chance to come back.
September 23rd, 2012 at 11:31 am
TAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMPAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 11:41 am
You guys are stretching it. Romo has embarrassed our defense everytime he’s played us since 2006.
We need to get our s*it together early on, get a lead, and EXPAND on it. Don’t just get a lead and expect our defense to hold on the entire time like the last game!
September 23rd, 2012 at 11:42 am
I think if we hold demarco murry under 100 yards it = a win
September 23rd, 2012 at 11:43 am
who is gonna cover V-Jax ? lol
September 23rd, 2012 at 11:50 am
I heard this week that AC has been dealing with a personal issue the past few months and has hurt his focus.
I read this morning that His Father is dying and may have passed away this weekend.
possible reason the Media has not gotten after him.
September 23rd, 2012 at 12:09 pm
SO IS BLOUNT GOING TO PLAY TODAY OR IS SCHIANO GOING TO DO THE SAME THING TO HIM THAT GRUDEN DID TO ALSTOTT? WHAT A WASTE
OF TALENT. IT PISSES ME OFF TO NO END!!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 12:11 pm
Wow what are you guys smoking and can I have some?
This is a Dallas team that beat the Giants – the Giants HUMILIATED the Bucs in the 4th Quarter —– REMEMBER?
It must be nice to live in the land of make believe.
September 23rd, 2012 at 12:13 pm
I be happy to see the Bucs keep it close and competitive. Maybe put together 3 good quarters of error free football.
September 23rd, 2012 at 12:14 pm
You know you guys are on the Tampa Bay Bucs page and not the 49ers page right?
September 23rd, 2012 at 12:15 pm
The Cowboy’s defense is ravaged by injury. If our offense cannot capitalize, we are going to be in for a long day.
September 23rd, 2012 at 12:41 pm
I expec a big day from mark barron to make jerry jones regret passing on him for mo claybornand in the same breth it would be nice to make him look overrateda few times
September 23rd, 2012 at 12:44 pm
go bucs!
have fun. i can’t see the game but hope we win.
September 23rd, 2012 at 12:55 pm
It appears Bucs fans are the only ones picking them to win.
I actually picked this one as a loss before the season started…mainly because the Cowgirls seem to beat us every time.
But I would SOOOO love it if the Bucs won this one. Win or lose though…we start a chain of wins next week.
September 23rd, 2012 at 12:59 pm
I agree Mr. Lucky. I’m as much of a homer as the next guy but as long as we keep it close an put together a varied offensive attack I’ll be happy.
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:02 pm
Bucs 27
Cowboys 24
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:08 pm

September 23rd, 2012 at 1:08 pm

Good call on Talib Dylan.
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:09 pm

Dylan, have any good lotto numbers?
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:16 pm
3 penalties, and an INT in the first TWO MINUTES of play?
Wow.
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:17 pm
Run it again on 4th coach
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:18 pm
That’s what I’m talking about. We need to impose our will on them
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:18 pm
Nicely done!
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:18 pm

September 23rd, 2012 at 1:19 pm
Finally Stocker gets a catch and touchdown. Nice Playcalling too.
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:19 pm
Love this team!
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:20 pm
I guess we’re running behind Nicks today
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:24 pm
Huge drive
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:24 pm
Run Defense looking stout
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:25 pm
Tampa is looking great! The video’s here are going off, even w/o clicking on them.
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:26 pm
Love that second week in a row we get the Fox A-team
Last wek the Bucs got notoriety
This week Time for the Bucs to get some respect
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:26 pm
McCoy makes a play
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:26 pm
Good play by Clayborn, but it looked like he was real slow off the ball.
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:27 pm
Hitting romo all day
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:28 pm
WTF Dallas
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:29 pm
At least one good thing has changed this year on Defense
You cannot run on the Bucs
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:29 pm
Two stops for loss by Clayborn, nice.
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:30 pm
WOW!
Another penalty
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:30 pm
Wow, the Cowboys are RATTLED.
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:30 pm
Cowgirls are killing themselves with penalties
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:31 pm
Waiting for the Dallas Boo Birds….
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:34 pm
What about D.Clark?
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:37 pm
Awesome.
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:37 pm
Every Week you never know what Freeman is going to show up…
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:39 pm
BucNeckid, don’t EVEN try to say that was Freeman’s fault. Ware tipped it in the air.
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:41 pm
That sucked, looked like the 4th quarter last week
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:41 pm
Agree with Pete….maybe he put a bit of much power into the throw, but you would expect Ware, asa a 3rd down specialist back, to catch that when wide open…
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:43 pm
WARE DID NOT TIP IT. HE FRICKIN DROPPED IT. INSTEAD OF A FIRST DOWN
ITS A MOMENTUM KILLER. GOOD JOB WARE. WHERE THE HELL IS BLOUNT?
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:44 pm
Video ads here are going off, w/o you clicking ON them!
I am streaming the game as I post here, and it gets annoying because the ads here are drowning out the game.
Is it just me, or has anyone else experienced this ?
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:48 pm
I don’t hear them
But i have the computer sound off
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:49 pm
Can’t even convert a simple 3rd and 1!! Freeman looked clueless on that play!
This offense sucks balls.
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:51 pm
Welp. This is looking rough.
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:51 pm
F’king FREEMAN
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:52 pm
STill not buying Freeman today
How long are going to hold it #5?
I know that it is Ware
but Geesh
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:52 pm
Let’s just keep it close lol
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:53 pm
#5 is Captain Check Down Again
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:55 pm
FREEMAN IS CLUELESS TODAY HOW DOES A QUARTERBACK TURN THE WRONG WAY ON A RUNNING PLAY?
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:55 pm
The INT wasn’t his fault but he’s had a fumble and a botched snap. Looking sloppy.
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:55 pm
@Chris
Get google chrome and download ad blocker plus. I never get any vids on here
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:55 pm
Both teams look sloppy
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:56 pm
Freeman is making mistakes again, he held the ball too long on a 3 step drop.
He missed the handoff to Martin as well.
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:57 pm
Dallas is keeping us in the game. Good lord
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:57 pm
AND We can’t take advantage of this sloppy Dallas team!!!!
Ugh
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:57 pm
LOL, that referee sounds exactly like Peyton Manning!
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:57 pm
Missed a pick six there
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:59 pm
Anybody impressed with Shipley?
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:59 pm
Why not rush Romo in the end zone?
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:59 pm
Let’s see them stretch the field with a first down bomb
Challenge Carr at Safety
September 23rd, 2012 at 1:59 pm
That was a terrible tackle by Talib *sigh*
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:00 pm
Shipley looks sure handed, and made something out of nothing!
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:01 pm
Shipley looks as good as anybody the bucs have had.
That time made something from nothing
but not impressed too much…
Yet
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:01 pm
Freeman has got to stop locking in on one side of the field.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:01 pm
WTF WAS THAT FREEMAN
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:01 pm
Freemnan gets crushed and a Penalty
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:02 pm
First Down on the penalty
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:03 pm
There goes that Peyton Manning Referee again, LOL
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:03 pm
Little guy
Can’t help it sometimes
most guys you grab at that height range you hit their chest
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:03 pm
@Miguel
Keep it simple. Plus our DBs would probably get toasted see: Manning, Eli
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:04 pm
Freeman has really sucked
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:05 pm
Bad Play Call
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:06 pm
Koenen is MVP of the Offense again this game
Looks a lot like last year except the improved Defense
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:06 pm
Freeman threw that too soon
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:07 pm
When Freeman saw that guy right ON Dallas Clark, he should have just took off, instead of thrown it.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:08 pm
I AGREE FREEMANS HEAD IS NOT IN THE GAME
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:10 pm
Now i’m not impressed with Shipley
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:11 pm
Can we get a punt returner?
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:12 pm
Schiano is gonna be pissed!!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:12 pm
That blows
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:12 pm
YOU FUMBLE, YOU JUMP ON IT YOU DONT TRY TO PICK IT UP AND RUN
THATS LEARNED IN PEE WEE FOOTBALL
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:13 pm
HIRE GREG OLSON!!!!!!!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:14 pm
How do you double dip on that?
Fumble recovery AND the penalty???
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:15 pm
ROUGHING THE KICKER AND FUMBLING ON THE SAME PLAY
We’re out-sloppying the Cowgirls
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:16 pm
LMAO Bucneckid
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:16 pm
Those Cowboys are really…jumping the gun. lol
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:16 pm
Can the Bucs Offense and Special Teams get their heads out of their collective asses?
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:17 pm
This crap is embarrassing
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:17 pm
Freeman has not proven he’s a franchise QB. At all. I’m think I’m being pretty fair.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:18 pm
I’ll go on record and say there is no more grace with Free. It’s this season or we are looking for another answer. Our defense is doing its job, at some point out offense had to respond. And I’m not talking about when it’s too late and most of the game is gone and done with.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:19 pm
Has*
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:21 pm
Cowgirls suck!
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:21 pm
Free is playing scared aswell
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:21 pm
Mccoy looks like he put on 20 lbs of muscle.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:22 pm
New offense for #5 so i am going to give him a little bit more grace period.
But he still looks clueless
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:23 pm
Sandlot football
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:23 pm
Lets get some points here guys…
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:24 pm
IS THAT BLOUNT IN THE GAME, HEY WE ARE GOING THE WRONG WAY
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:24 pm
is this what Schiano calls a disciplined team?
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:25 pm
Receiver slips on a ref’s hat? That’s something you don’t see everyday
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:25 pm
Yeah, Blount!
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:25 pm
and blount is the best running back on the team.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:25 pm
One trick hurdler?
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:25 pm
Finally…Blount gets a shot…and gets 11 yards!
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:26 pm
Blount sighting!!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:26 pm
Who’s that #27 guy? Is he new to the team?
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:27 pm
BucNeckid, it’s not Freeman that is clueless. Remember…two receivers were added this week. It’s easy to blame the QB…but usually it’s not totally his fault.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:27 pm
Release the secret weapon!!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:27 pm
At this point I just wanna see some first downs and convincing ball movement. That too much to ask for?
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:28 pm
you understand that if he doesn’t hurdle he gets hit low and goes down right? Seems to work til they go high and get run over.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:29 pm
Yeah, like the hurdle, was just being silly.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:29 pm
What the hell dude?!?! Lol I guess it is too much to ask for. Free gonna dump it off like every pass so far?
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:30 pm
I’m starting the Matt Barkley rumor RIGHT NOW!
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:31 pm
Since stats are for losers…
Here are some losing stats
Freeman 5/10 28 yards 1 td 1 int.
V-Jackson 0 catches
D.Martin 9 carries for 31 yards
Zero Sacks
1 interception
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:32 pm
WE CANT EVEN SNAP A PUNT BEFORE THE PLAY CLOCK RUNS OUT
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:32 pm
@ScottyinFatAntonio
USC QB’s are terrible. See: Mark Sanchez and Matt Leinart
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:32 pm
This penalty fest is a snoozer.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:33 pm
Josh SUCKS! I’ve been a Freeman guy to this point but I’m beginning to believe he’s as good as he’s ever gonna be. Doesn’t’ help that the entire offense can’t get out of it’s own way. I’m loving this “toes on the line” discipline! NOT!
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:33 pm
Is Tony Dungy on the sideline again? I see his offense.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:33 pm
Nice Sniffing out by Talib.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:34 pm
Two New receivers yes but they are down on the depth chart
V Jax ZERO Catches
Williams One for 10 yard
D.Clark 1 catch for ZERO Yards
You cannot win without using your firepower optimally
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:34 pm
BjBurgh that 5 yards gives us a better punt situation.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:34 pm
@Gt40bear
Nothing wrong with Schiano.
There’s no excuses for Freeman anymore. He’s got the best receiving core he’s ever had.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:36 pm
“Very erratic, undisciplined 30 minutes of play.”
Wonder if they got any of those Tex-Mex hot dogs for Schiano at halftime. Maybe a halftime siesta?
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:36 pm
Finally a sack
Good Job
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:37 pm
McCoy & Bennet, good job.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:38 pm
OMG, a McCoy sack
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:39 pm
Vincent Jackson was defending Dez Bryant on that play.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:39 pm
So last week the BUcs are accused of playing to the end of the game by rushing on a Kneel Down
This week the Cowboys Throw a Hail Mary at the end of the half while in the lead.
Any Problem with that?
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:40 pm
The thing I like about this year is that I actually have to watch the second half to see who wins….
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:41 pm
That has got to go down as the absolute WORST 30 minutes of football I have EVER seen. Not inlcuding last year’s henious 10-game losing streak. Let’s see what Orlovsky can do!!!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:41 pm
A joke if a performance so far and a waste of a nice defensive effort by a porous offense led by a scared Free.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:41 pm
Maybe Freeman will wake up in the 4th quarter…….LMAO
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:42 pm
Brad Johnson and Jeff Garcia never even had games like this.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:42 pm
There are a few things that I would like to address from this game. First of all, Blount is electric and his dissapearance has made this offense one dimensional. This leads me to my second and most painful point of the game, Josh Freeman may not be the answer we all have naively believed. He’s loveable, yes. Before I pass judgement on him I have to see more of Mike Sullivan’s offense to see if its the system or the man with the throws. All I know is Josh’s confidence seems to be low and I have a pain in my stomach everytime he throws the ball, it’s either genius, an INT or a pass to the flats on some short fullback pass junk…. All of these things can be fixed, but we look just as predictable as last year. DOUGH MARTIN IS NOT RAY RICE (yet), the bruiser Blount needs to change this up. I’m sick of hearing about our dynamic backfield and change of pace backs that compliment eachother so well. They don’t compliment sh*t if there’s only one in for 90%+ of the snaps. Let the dog out of the doghouse… Joe please explain this.
Oh yeah, this defensive front seven is for real. Way to be Schiano and Billy Sher, our secondaries are as bi-polar as it gets. Getting burned or burning, “thats our defense”. Way to swarm to the ball everyone, except for that pass to Jones on 3rd and long when 3 bucs let him by to get stopped for 4th and 1.
THOUGHTS?! LET’s GO BUCS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Smash these Cowboys at home, no one cares about a team that almost won against the Giants and the Cowboys at home. Talk them down and come and punch them in the face this second half.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:42 pm
Not saying anything about Schiano, love him so far. It’s the players I’m ticked off at. Schiano isn’t the one committing bone-head penalties! Feet need to be planted firmly up some butts at halftime. Defense deserves much better in this game.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:43 pm
Our defense looks way better than theirs,FREEMAN IS MAKING THEIR DEFENSE LOOK GOOD!
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:46 pm
We need some Mike Will slants.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:47 pm
GIVE THE BALL TO BLOUNT! HE’S THE ONLY PROVEN PLAYER OTHER THAN JACKSON AND WILLIAMS WE HAVE ON OUR OFFENSE.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:48 pm
Not sure if this game is inspiring enough to go and buy tickets for Tampa Bay’s next home game.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:49 pm
Give the ball to Blount.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:50 pm
It’s so sad that the Bucs don’t have a QB to go with their defense!
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:50 pm
Unfortunately much like last weeek, our defense while good is on the field too long. Our offense S**Ks and the defense is having to work harder as a result. I’m just hoping that because of the new coach and new players on offense, it is taking some time to get the offense on the same page. Perhaps this is partly due to the constant dropping then picking up the same players a few weeks later.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:50 pm
Most definitely not.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:51 pm
LOL @ the Freeman haters….he doesn’t have time to throw downfield you Dolts !
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:51 pm
Running passes won’t help.
Freeman can’t hit the side of a barn.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:51 pm
Everything starts with Freeman
I am tired of him staring down receivers and
Holding on to the ball too long
First year in this offense or not
he has been a starter TOO LONG to be making these types of errors.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:52 pm
@raphael – What has Freeman done in 2012?
I’ll tell you what – the same $hit he did in 2011. Freeman is nothing more than a young Trent Dilfer.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:52 pm
LMAO…especially on that three step drop where he should have thrown it instead of getting happy feet and getting sacked/fumbling the ball….DOLT!!!!!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:52 pm
Matt Barkley????
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:53 pm
Raphael
He does not even pull the trigger on a three step drop!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:54 pm
Passes???
Tampa can’t throw no stiknking passses
Once again he stares down a receiver and throws off his back foot
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:54 pm
Get off Free’s genitals and watch the game.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:55 pm
Well it’s time to look at the 2012 college QB’s because at this rate that’s what Schiano’s going to be looking for in the upcoming draft.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:56 pm
While Freeman has sucked, he is only24. He’s had numerous coaching changes and limited training last year due to the labor dispute. Let’s not run him out of town yet. I can’t imagine our backup doing much better.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:56 pm
Here we go with the ugly 3 and outs again
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:56 pm
Poor touch on that pass
Still
Had the receiver caught that he would have been lit up
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:56 pm
@Rican
You mean watch Freeman’s incompletions?
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:56 pm
GREAT START OFFENSE
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:56 pm
Freeman blows.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:56 pm
There going to blitz us all day cause they see how scared he’s playing.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:57 pm
If the Bucs has any sense at all, they would give Blount the ball 15 times in the 2nd half and win going away.
First, they would have to get together and discuss the up coming half. You know that’s not going to happen.
I warned that the Cowgirls wouldn’t be kneeling, it will be bombs away!
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:57 pm
they are double covering V-jax and we need to get some good play calls…
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:58 pm
Our defense can only play well for so long when the offense can’t play worth a damn.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:58 pm
Freeman’s wonderlic of 11 is showing today. Poor guy can’t focus.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:58 pm
What’s so sad is that the Glazers and Dominik actually spent $$$$ to get Freeman weapons but you can’t make a silk purse out of a sows ear. Who’s the Buc’s backup QB’s?
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:58 pm
@Patrick exactly : /
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:58 pm
The Rays game is more exciting.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:58 pm
Tony Dungy called. He wants his offense back.
Actually Tony’s offense would have run a 6 yard route on a 3rd and 8.
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:58 pm
Pissing me off how Blount is basically NOT part of this offense anymore!
September 23rd, 2012 at 2:59 pm
Have to sustain a drive on offense
or our defense is going to get too tired and start giving up the big play
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:00 pm
Time to self that Blitz
it equals a first down every time
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:00 pm
And here it goes
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:01 pm
Here come the cowgirls…this drive will determine the outcome of the game.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:01 pm
^Shelf that Blitz
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:02 pm
The Bucs are never gonna beat the Cowboys are they?? I’m being embarrassed once again!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:03 pm
Difference betweeen this week and last week is that Dallas cannot make the plays that Eli and the Giants were making
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:04 pm
THESE REFS SUCK, THAT SHOULD BE A PENALTY ON ROMO
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:04 pm
That was at least an intentional grounding
Maybe a fumble
But it is IN Dallas
so the Bucs will get screwed on this
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:04 pm
Challenge is worth it cause if the Cowboys score a TD the game will be over. Being that our offense can’t do anything.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:04 pm
These refs just suck..
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:05 pm
Am i the only person here who doesn’t understand why blount isnt getting the ball? Im started to think our new coach is a liar. Blount seems just fine. So its not an injury issue. He promised us two backs pounding the ball. Yet martin is getting nothing. Yet no blount after 14 yards on two carries. I don’t get it.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:05 pm
some of you guys are not Buc fans …obviously !
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:06 pm
Raphael shut up
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:07 pm
McCoy screwed out of a sack
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:07 pm
We have better fans than the Cowboys!! They are on Romo’s ass all the time and he’s actually a good QB. We’ve been patient with Freeman.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:07 pm
WoW
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:07 pm
Yeah, stripsack!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:08 pm
Sack and Fumble
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:09 pm
Great challenge by Schiano!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:09 pm
Are you fricking kidding?
Another first down run
Is Ray Perkins Coaching this offense?
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:09 pm
Freemans eyes were on Jackson all the way
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:11 pm
Just keep it on the ground, my heart stops everytime Freeman passes.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:11 pm
2 sacks in 1 game for McCoy, Miracle
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:11 pm
Okay
so every first down is going to be a running play
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:11 pm
Blount not being used = disgraceful
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:11 pm
Fake Bennd around
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:12 pm
@Raphael
No we just aren’t Homers
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:12 pm
GO FOR IT.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:12 pm
IS MIKE SHULA OUR OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR AGAIN
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:13 pm
Good spot
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:13 pm
Safety Limps off
wanna bet they run on first down?
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:14 pm
Argh
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:14 pm
Change it up!!! We have a 1,000 yard rusher on our roster in case they forgot!!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:14 pm
Doug Martin will be on IR by week 9.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:15 pm
Freeman looks terrible today! He doesn’t look at all like a playmaker. I feel like he is being absorbed into a “system”, which is fine if he succeeds. If not, he’s just Dilfer.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:15 pm
Hey thats the way for the Bucs to move the ball, have Freeman make crappy passes and pray for pass interference
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:16 pm
Happy feet Blount for 2.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:16 pm
Ummm I don’t think so and certainly hope not.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:16 pm
@Justin
Trent Dilfer just called and said that Freeman is NO Trent Dilfer
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:16 pm
Are we ahead or losing?
WTF is up with Run, Run, Run?
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:16 pm
Blount was averaging 6 yards a carry before that carry. Gotta use him more.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:18 pm
Pro Bowl game for Koenen
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:18 pm
WTF JOSH THAT IS WHAT WE HAVE BEEN SAYING ALL DAY
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:18 pm
So so so so SAD
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:18 pm
Congratulations we just passed 100 yards of offense!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:19 pm
Unless we score defensively or on special teams….we will NOT score again in this game.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:19 pm
@ lucky….the Bucs called and they said you don,t know anything …
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:19 pm
We HAVE to run, run, run because Freeman
Can’t Pass, Pass, pass…
Josh’s head is up his azz – again
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:19 pm
This offense looks like Greg Olsen’s offense.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:19 pm
What is wrong with #5??? is he under pressure running for his life 6/15 for 39 yards
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:20 pm
Patrick that’s so sad. We should have had 100yds of offense after the first two drives.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:20 pm
Well they hav seen that freeman just can’t pass so they have decided to run. Even with the blitzes Free cant hit the short routes.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:20 pm
There has to be something going on.
The Bucs have not been successful once trying to stretch the field
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:20 pm
And you guys were complaining about Tebow? At least Tebow would have sold some tickets.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:20 pm
Really hating these play calls for the offense. We have weapons to go downfield and were chugging out a yard or two per play. Sucks to watch this garbage. On a lighter note, our D is looking beautiful
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:21 pm
We can’t even score a FIELD GOAL to tie it up!! Our defense is probably very pissed.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:21 pm
Aqib is everybody’s Beyatch this year
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:21 pm
Can we at least TRY to pass longer than 10 yards?
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:22 pm
slow the game keep it close win on the last drive
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:22 pm
Helmet to helmet
Ouch
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:22 pm
Hold them to 3 here!!!!!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:22 pm
Good thing I started Romo and sat Freeman in fantasy.
Freeman doesnt even have trade value.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:22 pm
Mason Foster has been an absolute BEAST out there today. He’s blown up a ton of plays in the backfield.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:22 pm
It’s not just Josh, in fairness. The “strength of the team” offensive line is blowing chunks too.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:23 pm
WOW! that had to hurt.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:23 pm
Dude…that was a HELLUVA sack
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:24 pm
Wow
Challenge that one too
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:24 pm
Damn and the refs blew it dead. That’s a scoop and score.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:24 pm
should be a TD
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:24 pm
We would be killing the Cowboys right now if Freeman was just playing average.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:24 pm
Bookends much? Loving the defense, looks like they are getting into a groove.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:24 pm
Can we PLEASE have the regular refs back??!!??
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:24 pm
Sack
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:24 pm
Spoke too soon 🙂
2 fumbles and an int. Neither are doing any good.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:25 pm
So…obviously that was a fumble…and the refs just cost us a touchdown. Because they blew the whistle, the TD will not count.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:25 pm
We get the ball back, then lets run it again for three and out to kick a field goal….
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:26 pm
THESE REFS HAVE TO GO,IF THEY REVERSE THE CALL LIKE THEY SHOULD,
THEY WILL NOT GIVE US THE TOUCHDOWN ON THE RECOVERY AND RUN BACK. UNBELIEVABLE
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:26 pm
Can we get Blount and Martin in the backfield at the same time?
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:26 pm
Should have let the TD happen… then made Dallas challenge the play.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:27 pm
LET’S GO OFFENSE
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:27 pm
Our offensive line is blocking like crap today.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:27 pm
Wtf…
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:28 pm
LMAO….even Shiano hesitated before throwing the flag.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:28 pm
Dont need the TD. Freeman will drive us down for a TD.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:28 pm
Why aren’t we checking to slants?
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:28 pm
Come on Freeman!!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:28 pm
We’re so pitiful lol
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:28 pm
If we can’t even get a flipping FG I am gonna freaking flip WTF WTF WTF
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:29 pm
Great defense by Jenkins. USF standout
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:29 pm
Here comes Keonen
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:29 pm
Jackson is killing us
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:29 pm
Freeman is HORRIBLE
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:30 pm
Are there any awards for most mediocre offense?
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:30 pm
Nice freaking pass Freeman – NOT
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:30 pm
For 9 mil. A yr. Jackson has to make that play. And can we please bench Freeman!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:30 pm
That was also NOT Freeman’s fault?
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:30 pm
Can’t even go 10 yards and give Barth a shot at a FG.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:31 pm
this sucks
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:31 pm
Anybody blaming Jackson has never run a post in their life
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:31 pm
great pass actually ! anywhere else and its a INT?
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:31 pm
Freeman threw that pass WAY behind Jackson……..you guys are blaming the wrong guy.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:31 pm
If only we had a QB,we could be 3-0 🙁
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:31 pm
Freeman hasn’t had a chance to get in a rhythm, we need so high easy passes to get him going.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:31 pm
Fear the glow I don’t think we would win that award.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:31 pm
That drive was ALL Freeman
and that is not good.
First down Intentional Grounding
Second Down Bad Pass that V-Jax did not bail him out of this time
Third Down Bad Pass behind V-Jax.
Punt = ZERO Points off an excellent opportunity
What a Waste
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:32 pm
It’s honestly painful to watch this. Very painful.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:32 pm
*some easy
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:32 pm
Freeman needs to buy the defense dinner and send an apology letter to every player. He has sucked this game.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:32 pm
FREAKING PUTRID!!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAGH! Not even a FG attempt out of that!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:32 pm
Put in orlovsky! Get that freaking bum out of there!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:32 pm
Freeman f*******ing sucks. Deer in the headlights. We need to rid ourselves of this smuck.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:32 pm
Put Orvlosky into the game
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:33 pm
F’K YOU ERIC WRIGHT
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:33 pm
That was an awesome announcer jinx by Troy Aikman. Well played #8
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:34 pm
Is V-Jax the ONLY receiver on the field?
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:34 pm
BucNeckid Says:
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:31 pm
That drive was ALL Freeman
and that is not good.
.
Okay, BucNeckid…are you not seeing how poorly the offensive line is performing for the man??? Agenda much?
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:34 pm
Dallas look HORRIBLE today. What does that say about us?
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:34 pm
I’m so glad we got Eric Wright!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:34 pm
It was only a matter of time before OUR anemic offense got us in trouble. Is it unfair to ask for an offense that moves the chains???
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:34 pm
Whelp defense can only do so much. Sorry guys
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:34 pm
I never thought I’d miss Greg Olson…
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:35 pm
Well our Defence is ONCE again being asked to BAIL OUT the offence!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:35 pm
WTF …comon man …maybe bench Freeman? …do something! just give Blount the ball if nothing else.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:35 pm
Mercifully there’s only one more quarter. Who do we play next week?
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:35 pm
Lucky Break for the Bucs
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:36 pm
THESE GUYS ARE KILLING ME. MY STOMACH HURTS!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:36 pm
This is like watching any game from last year’s 10 game losing streak except we have a better defense.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:37 pm
This team reminds me a lot of the Bucs when Dungy took over.
Great Defense
Offense sucked with good enough players around a QB Deficiency
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:37 pm
I miss Jeff Garcia!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:37 pm
I miss Jeff Garcia!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:37 pm
I don’t see how if we loose this L doesn’t go solely on Free’d suck ass performance.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:37 pm
You people really need to calm down, lol.
First, it’s your own fault for expecting too much of this team when everything is so new to them.
Second…the chances of us winning this game were slim anyway…and you should have known that.
Third…I think we can still win this game. MAYBE.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:38 pm
Freeman, where the hell is your head? Everybody is playing well but you. We can’t run the ball when you can’t throw for sh!t.
Tebow can pass this well.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:38 pm
OFFENSIVE LINE
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:38 pm
I can’t stand listening to Buck and Acheman.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:38 pm
Shaun King anyone?
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:38 pm
@Pete Dutcher……..give me a f’kn break! Freeman is in his 4TH season, he’s playing worse than his rookie season!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:38 pm
bunch of crybabies,,,,,,,
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:39 pm
Hold them to 3
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:39 pm
Except for pick, Talib is getting schooled again!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:39 pm
SteveK Says:
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:38 pm
Freeman, where the hell is your head? Everybody is playing well but you. We can’t run the ball when you can’t throw for sh!t.
.
Put on the Brakes, Steve. Everyone is not playing well. Have you not noticed the OFFENSIVE LINE failing to pass protect AND failing to run block?
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:40 pm
F that Dutcher. They are paid millions of $ to win. It’s now or never. Freeman needs to step up. No excuses. 4th year in the league, time to see if he is the answer.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:40 pm
ouch
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:40 pm
KNOCK ROMO OUT!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:41 pm
MONSTER MCCOY!!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:41 pm
@Pete
I kinda figured we weren’t going to win (I had this as a loss on to our 6-10 season) but I’d like to see a week to week improvement. We’re all over the freaking place. I have no idea who we are and what we can do. We have one of the most expensive offenses in the league and we look atrocious. This is embarrassing man. At least we had the excuse of not having any talent offensively.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:41 pm
Romo is hurt?
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:41 pm
Let’s see…isn’t that sack #2 today for McCoy??? Man I miss Thomas….
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:42 pm
lol its a 3 point game….
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:42 pm
3 sacks by McCoy I must be dreaming!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:42 pm
Man that does NOT feel good. Romo got Cap Rooney’d on that one…
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:42 pm
@Raphael and Dutcher…….quit kissing Freeman’s a**. His play has been embarrassing, and OUR defense has played lights out. Freeman can’t even get us into FG range after that last fumble.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:43 pm
Go Josh Freeman. :-\
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:43 pm
I think we are going to have a Kyle Orton sighting
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:43 pm
Is Clay alright?
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:43 pm
His throws aren’t even close. His execution of our offense is like old drunken sex: slow, sloppy, shooting low.
He looks lost. Freeman needs to lead us. Hope his 4th quarter lightbulb shines brightly today.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:43 pm
Ouch!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:43 pm
Looks like we got the defense established,I thought we were supposed to be all about offense this year.OOoopps!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:43 pm
Helmet to helmet?!? Huh?
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:44 pm
Oh no…….now we HAVE to score a touchdown.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:44 pm
about time for captain comback Freeman to do his thing …
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:45 pm
McCoy knocked the Carrie Underwood outta him.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:45 pm
Thank goodness the defense showed up to play…too bad the second fumble wasn’t called correctly or they would have realized a defensive score. The fact that we have to hope for the defense to score is terrible. Held them to three.that’s awesome…..Now that it’s in the 4th quarter maybe we’ll see the offense figure it out. Not
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:45 pm
Steve…that comment was naive. Let’s see any QB do well with a OL like this.
If the RBs were doing well, then you might be able to make a case that this if Freeman’s fault…but our guys can’t even open running lanes.
SensibleBuc…I think the defense is doing better, so at least they have improved.
Although…how long they can keep it up with so little time off the field is debatable.
A defense CAN win games though…our last one did all the time. If they pick off the ball for a TD, that puts us ahead (with the point after).
I figured 10-6, but marked Giants and Cowboys as a loss as well.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:46 pm
WARLOVSKY!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:46 pm
No more Martin!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:46 pm
Freeman not looking good at all today
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:46 pm
Clayborn carted off. Uh oh.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:46 pm
Game over…Clayborn injured
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:46 pm
Yeah, freeman is in his 4th year and also with a new offensive coordinator. With a new offense
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:47 pm
Claiborne carted off. Bad news there
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:47 pm
Clayborne is hurt.
Aikman said the Bucs defense is terrible.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:47 pm
Uh Oh
Clayborn carted off
Worse than losing the game
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:47 pm
GIVE IT TO BLOUNT. I don’t trust Freeman!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:47 pm
Nice shot GMC, although you’ll be getting a nice request for a small contribution! You can afford it, keep them coming!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:47 pm
Offense is terrible^
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:47 pm
Clayborn carted off…
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:48 pm
They HAVE TO SCORE
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:48 pm
13 2nd half points in 3 games. It’s like last year in reverse.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:48 pm
Gee, I was fooled by that play call!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:48 pm
Freeman pressured again.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:48 pm
It’s football. Freeman should be able to deliver a catchable ball to his receivers and to his receivers ONLY
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:48 pm
Now they are just calling plays hoping for penalties for first downs
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:49 pm
AAHH man. Any word on Clayborn?
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:49 pm
Freeman is embarrasing. Thanks for drafting him RAHEEM.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:49 pm
WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT PASS, FREEMAN SUCKS
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:49 pm
JESUS H CHRIST
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:49 pm
Why are you people afraid to criticize and give Freeman negative feedback. Hes playing like crap and just say it.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:50 pm
for those viewing …?
what about The throws by Free?
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:50 pm
Can’t wait to draft a qb in first round next year. Freeman is absolute garbage!!!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:50 pm
Maybe Romo will fumble again. OR maybe, He’ll see Bennett and McCoy coming for him unblocked and drop the ball. That would be polite of him.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:51 pm
GOD ALMIGHTY! Pick someone out of the stands, can’t be any worse than our QB play today! HOLY CRAP ON A CRACKER!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:51 pm
Well…not the Dallas running game is going to wake up with Clayborn out.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:51 pm
we can hope Justin LOL
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:51 pm
Still a good game though…if you enjoy defensive gameplay. Which I do.
If our defense can just score 9 TDs this year I will be VERY happy.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:51 pm
I’m in Texas and right now I’m f’king embarrassed!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:52 pm
This is a ridiculous display by freeman. He should pull himself from the game. If we had any offense we win this game.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:52 pm
Freeman had a few bad throws, but goddamn. These play calls are the worst I’ve seen. Run on first down in the 4th when youre backed up and down by 6? Get rid of sullivan. Awful awful awful
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:52 pm
Same here Patrick. I almost went to the game.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:52 pm
Here come the Homers lol…
I forgot cause we aren’t expected to win we should be ok with ish football lol.
My B my B. Fact through 8 quarters if football our team has hung with the best of them in 7 quarters of them. So in this game we should and won’t expect less just cause some “experts” say so.
-Dumb ish Benn taking that kickoff out
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:52 pm
Defense is gonna have to get a pick-six to win this game, offense damn sure won’t.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:52 pm
@Pete Dutcher……….our defense is gonna get worn out after too much of nothing from the offense
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:52 pm
Looks like McCoy busted out of the Goat House today and handed the keys to Freeman
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:53 pm
I thought the last play was on Clark myself but generally he looks rushed & confused. Obviously we can’t see the routes develop downfield but when he actually gets the ball out it’s nowhere near the receiver. We look like we don’t even know the plays.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:53 pm
Pressured???
This is Football
Our Offensive Line???
There is plenty of time for a Pro QB to make a decent throw.
EVERY QB in the league gets hit almost EVERY Play
No excuse on Freeman’splay this year
How about giving Dallas’ DLine some credit too.
Our OLine is holding up well against them
OLINE is not struggling but not looking AS BAD as #5
That is why you call a three step drop
How can you Blame everybody on the oline except for the guy who can’t pull the trigger on a three step drop.
Talk about an AGENDA
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:53 pm
How many sacks does Bennett have today? 3 or 4?
Plus he had one before this. Dude is already up to 4 or 5 sacks on the 3rd game of the season.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:54 pm
It sucks to see our team playing their hearts out and freeman just throws the game away he is terrible
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:54 pm
and you people need to stop ripping Free. He made the throws when the plays were called last week. I have a feeling that he has no say about anything in this offense. Ditch Sully and let the offense get into a groove
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:54 pm
Gruden was better than Sullivan and Olsen combined.
Sheridan is doing good!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:55 pm
god I love our D!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:55 pm
Have we done any roll outs? Playaction?
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:56 pm
@ Shutthebucup…AGREED !
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:56 pm
Cut Myron Lewis *sigh*
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:56 pm
get rid of myron lewis. not worth the yards
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:56 pm
Lewis hit Lewis, lol. That shouldn’t count…he hit himself!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:56 pm
Not able to watch or hear the game today. Is 6 completions correct for Freeman out of 20 attempts?
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:56 pm
cut lewis NOW !
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:56 pm
http://www.grantland.com/blog/the-triangle/post/_/id/36555/nfl-run-shootaround-robert-griffin-the-first
Scroll down until you get to Ron Rivera. Pretty funny.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:56 pm
What a stupid selfish penalty..
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:56 pm
Myron Lewis = Idiot
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:57 pm
@Pete Dutcher
I know right??? haha
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:57 pm
Myron is so cut!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:57 pm
Myron Lewis made a play today …
… for Dallas!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:57 pm
The other guy started it…but of course Myron should have not struck back. He should have fallen back like he was pushed.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:57 pm
@1976Buc
Yes
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:57 pm
Got have it on this drive….open up the playbook and throw it to anyone but Jackson
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:57 pm
MYRON LEWIS WILL BE CUT AFTER THAT BONEHEAD PENALTY ARE YOU KIDDEN ME, YOU DUMBASS
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:58 pm
If we don’t have any turnovers today we win 7-3. Out D has been stellar.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:58 pm
‘Our’ D.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:58 pm
Thank Aqib Talib guys!! He set us up for our only TD early on!
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:58 pm
there are OTHER receivers on the field right ….
… besides V-Jax?
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:59 pm
it sounds like our D has gotten the memo this is the NFL and that is short for “Not For Long” as Coach Glanville used to say if you do not get your head out of your arse… lets hope the O gets this memo as well.
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:59 pm
Okay
this is getting ridiculous on the first down rush only philosophy
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:59 pm
were not a superbowl team, but were making progress folks. another draft and another offseason and were going to be doing some spanking out there. might even finish this season on an uptick. just sit back and enjoy an actual football team 🙂
September 23rd, 2012 at 3:59 pm
well they NOT abandoning the RUN …
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:00 pm
Yes i kno wthat we are deep in our territory
and this may be the exception but geesh
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:00 pm
I agree that progress is being made. it’s just that QB play is STILL a question!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:01 pm
@ShuttheBucUp
Yep we’re only a QB away from having a good offense.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:01 pm
Nobody was open. Wow.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:01 pm
Leaky O-Line against and elite D-Line = strips and sadness. At least we have Koenen
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:01 pm
OK…that’s it. We need to draft a QB. I just don’t think Freeman has it. I’ve been in his corner but he just makes horrible decisions.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:01 pm
6/20? Is Josh the guy or will we need to look for a QB for next year?
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:01 pm
How bout you defend freeman a little more Pete! Guys sucks! Get him the hell out of there
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:01 pm
now Free should be experienced enough to know how to handle this situation.
POOR decisions from Freeman – A G A I N
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:02 pm
Is Freeman under so much pressure he can not even get a pass off? how does Dotson look?
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:02 pm
true test for the D
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:02 pm
Ouch.
I suppose that kick return was FREEMAN’S FAULT as well.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:02 pm
They’ve packed it in….game over
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:02 pm
Josh Freeman must have thought the Statue of Liberty play was called.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:02 pm
This Offense seems to be Helpless and Hopeless. Stats aren’t for liars.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:02 pm
@Erick….where the hell is he supposed to throw the ball…..?????
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:02 pm
Game over. Garbage QB
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:03 pm
F’k this sh*t. This is a game we could’ve won if Freeman had actually played like an NFL QB.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:03 pm
Game over guys
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:03 pm
FREEMAN HAS TO BE BENCHED- RUN THE BALL GOD DAMN AE YOU TOO SKINNY NOW TO RUN JESUS
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:03 pm
Daaaaang….Schiano looks like he’s the kind of mad that could kill. I would be checking the locker room for guns before going back there.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:03 pm
Goddamn Joe Buck. I believe we have a curse on our hands. Worst announcer of all time!
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:03 pm
Underwood and Blount now
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:03 pm
@Dutcher………..shut the hell up man. Freeman is gonna be the reason we lost the game.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:04 pm
I love you Mark Barron
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:04 pm
Holding!
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:04 pm
LOL DALLAS. Almost as bad as we are.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:04 pm
PUT Orlovsky in!! He’s actually a decent player!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:04 pm
PETE- no way the return is on Freeman.
we not expecting a Superbowl championship team this year, but …
… better QB play
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:04 pm
This is our last chance! We have to stop them.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:04 pm
We need a real quarterback. Freeman is just awful! He doesn’t even give us a chance. 3 and out. 3 and out. 3 and out. 3 and out. 3 and out.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:04 pm
Offense quit on this game a long time ago. They look like Raheem and Olson are running it.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:05 pm
Well, I guess we can’t expect Josh to be the guy, considering nearly everything Dom and Raheem touched turned to crap.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:05 pm
Offense has truly wasted a great defensive effort
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:05 pm
For all the negative stuff some of y’all say, it almost seems like you WANT a reason not to like the Bucs. Is it good? No, it is not. Is it terrible? NO, it is not.
New coach, new system, this is going to take awhile.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:05 pm
Pick it and run it back. Thats the only way we will score
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:05 pm
We need a turnover or it’s over.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:06 pm
Looks like black outs all season…no product to cheer for other than a defense…don’t waste your money on these guys!
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:06 pm
Defense is on fire.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:06 pm
Well…….this is the time of the game Freeman will finally wake up!
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:06 pm
I love our QB. Hate our play calls. You don’t run the goddamn ball when your backed up in the 3rd/4th quarter. Our players are more than capable of winning games. They just need to be put in the right place. This game is all on the calls.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:07 pm
keep an eye on schiano
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:07 pm
Last week…our defense sucked
this week ….our offense sucks
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:07 pm
go BUCS.
Are Dallas going for it on 4th
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:07 pm
Oh man…Clayborn might be out for the season?
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:08 pm
You freeman apologists are unbelievable! Romo has been pressured just as much, if not more, and is still able to stand in the pocket and make the throw. Stop making excuses for a 4th year vet
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:08 pm
Wait wait wait…people are calling for Orlovsky to play? Dan Orlovsky? The guy that did this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_EZrpEdc0ZQ
I mean I’m mad just like the next guy but get ahold of yourselves people.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:08 pm
Game over. F’K YOU FREEMAN.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:08 pm
Fire sullivan now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:08 pm
they should call play to get our qb in a rythym… something…
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:08 pm
Six Quarters in a row that the BUCS could not maintain an offensive drive.
Maybe the reason the Offensive play calling sucks so bad is that it has to be vanilla’d down to compensate for the bad QB Play.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:08 pm
Most all of like or love the Bucs.
But those of us watching Football for 50 years know what we are looking at when we see football. This was one of the most inept QB outcomes in the last 5 years of any QB….6/20…39 yards…1 TD, 1 Int. Yikes. Anyone know what the QB rating is on that one?
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:08 pm
FREEMAN NEEDS DRUG TESTED AFTER THE GAME. DOES HE EVEN KNOW WHERE HE IS AND THAT HE IS IN A FOOTBALL GAME, HE LOOKS CLUELESS
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:08 pm
ShutTheBucUp
On the up side, the defensive play calling has been fantastic at least.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:09 pm
I knew they weren’t going to win this game……..they’re playing the Cowboys!! They always beat them!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:09 pm
It’s not over yet, but we need to score before the 2 minute warning.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:10 pm
If we come out throwing the ball all over the place I will puke..
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:10 pm
SULLIVAN IS ON CRACK. A RUN????
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:10 pm
Oh my God
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:11 pm
I think Mike Sullivan was payed off by the Cowboys.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:11 pm
Worst offenses coaching in Buc’s history !
Thank God Sullivan won’t be here next year!
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:11 pm
Troy is Killing our offense and rightfully so
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:11 pm
Here we go 1st down Peanut 1.0 up the middle for 1 yard
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:11 pm
Hand off? WTF? Greg Olsen still wiring in plays?
Incomplete pass… Freeman looks like crap.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:11 pm
Can we at least TRY TO THROW the ball past the first down mark?? Sheesh, put me in next week
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:11 pm
“You have got to be kidding me”
– Troy Aikman on Bucs running on first down this drive
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:12 pm
Seriously, I think he’s being an idiot on purpose.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:12 pm
I agree Patrick – to the run.
And he runs again – just to infuriate you…
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:12 pm
I want Jon Gruden back. I’m not joking.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:12 pm
Honestly…it looks like Freeman is intentionally staying in the pocket, as though he’s been instructed to.
However…he’s having about 2 seconds to get rid of the ball in most passing plays from the time goes in motion.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:12 pm
What the hell are we doing? This is really stupid. SMH, damn Bucs wtf?
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:12 pm
It’s the playcalling. By the way mark2001…Not only have I been watching football that long, i have been a BUCS FAN for almost forty years.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:12 pm
Now Joe Buck is mocking the Bucs play calling. Apparently, Freeman is that bad.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:12 pm
another handoff …
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:12 pm
we are the laughing stock of the NFL this week for another reason
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:13 pm
Sullivan is killing me
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:13 pm
two draws plays, and one half-hearted pass play!!! How much did we spend on VJ this year?? Also what QB is coming out of college?? Josh needs to GO!
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:13 pm
39 yards of Pass offence????
And you tell me the QB doesn’t take MUCH o’ the blame?
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:13 pm
Bucs version of the Kneel down
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:13 pm
We need a new QB and apparently a new OC next year.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:14 pm
3rd and 9, two scores behind and we’re trying to run out the clock?
What happened to whistle to whistle, never quit?
Now we get to see the Cowgirls rub our noses on that kneel down
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:14 pm
Based upon what I’ve seen the last two weeks, it appears the only solution might be to fire Dom and hope for an experienced personnel guy that can weed out the guys on this team that don’t belong in the league.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:14 pm
Im completely mindblown by these play calls. Sullivan is clearly smoking crystal meth
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:14 pm
Freeman looks lost. Where is his mind? We suck without him. Orlovskey, get loose!
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:14 pm
@ theodore …Freeman doesn’t call the plays you dumb twit !
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:14 pm
I LOVE THE BUCS, BUT THIS IS SOME OF THE WORST PLAY CALLING I HAVE EVER SEEN!
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:14 pm
Nick Says:
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:11 pm
Worst offenses coaching in Buc’s history !
.
Clearly you haven’t been a fan long. This team has NEVER had a great offense…unless you count the Doug Williams years.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:14 pm
If we punt, I want everyone fired
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:15 pm
Aikmen just blew up on live TV!!!
He was like, “You got to be kidding me!!!”
I loved it.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:15 pm
Unfortunately I agree with Troy A. Never thought I would have to do that.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:15 pm
Gentlemen
Welcome to the rebuilding year
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:15 pm
Here we go….
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:15 pm
take the shackles off free and let him play…
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:15 pm
Gruden’s offenses were actually probably actually the best ones we ever had.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:15 pm
It looks obvious today that Josh Freeman is just not a starting caliber NFL QB. He’s had one good year in his career and it looks like defenses have found out what he can and can’t do. Time to find a new starting QB………Barkley????
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:16 pm
where has that been ?
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:16 pm
Vincent who?
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:16 pm
see? He finally had time in the pocket…and Jackson caught it.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:16 pm
where is the Time out
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:16 pm
WOW, shock?? FREEMAN completes a pass when it’s too late!
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:16 pm
@raphael – You dumb twit. I was referring to Freeman being so bad the OC is calling running plays.
You know, one can disagree without being an ass.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:16 pm
For a team that fought for the kneel down this is a change. They laid down today. Didn’t think they could catch up so they ran it twice. What happened to fight to the finish?
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:16 pm
Pete
it is called desperation
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:17 pm
We could have been doing this all day. FIRE SULLIVAN TOMORROW
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:17 pm
SERIOUSLY?????? Now we’re opening up the playbook that has the passing formations in it???? Too little too late
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:17 pm
SkookumSmitty….I’ve been a Bucs fan since the mid 80’s. So what Bucs QB in the past did Freemans performance look like today? I have some ideas, but let”s hear it from you.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:17 pm
just pathetic… don’t care if we got that pass or not, when an ex great QB and J Buck is mocking you something is very wrong!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:18 pm
REALLY?!?
A check down to the middle of the field?!?
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:18 pm
@theodore as was referring to you being a DUMB TWIT ….Freeman is not the problem….dumb twit
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:18 pm
To you morons still talking trash about Free, just stop being a Tampa fan. I’d suggest the Packers or Pats. Adios!
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:18 pm
Time to pass, and again it is caught.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:18 pm
Freeman always plays well………
when it’s too late.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:19 pm
I swear Freeman only makes plays when the defense is in a prevent zone.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:19 pm
Its wonderful when we let Free air it out with his receivers
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:19 pm
A little too little too late
One pass does not a QB make
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:19 pm
Don’t get all excited…They are two scores up, and only an onside kick will give us a chance, even if we get it into the endzone. It is called “prevent defense”.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:19 pm
wow ! GREAT THROW BY FREEMAN !!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:19 pm
Look at Tiquan gettin’ it in!
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:19 pm
Every position group on offense was inept today. Freeman looked confused. Our receivers couldn’t get open. Doug had no holes. Nobody could block anybody. The play calling was inept…scratch that…BEYOND inept…
…Of course NOW we move the ball…
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:19 pm
Simply put, the most embarrassing, pathetic performance from a Bucs’ offense in decades. Sullivan has called 3 lousy games. Freeman looks lost. The WRs, as has been the case since the franchise’s inception, cannot beat man/press coverage. Martin has no room to run. The o-line has been turn-style bad. The film on this game will be vomit inducing. Nothing downfield. Really, it has been building to this bad. Open up the effing playbook or bench Freeman if you don’t think he can make the right decisions. I know this, Freeman isn’t the same QB he was during his rookie year on 2010. The guy is a statue.
Too bad, because the defense played its best game in recent memory. Way to rebound from last week. Nice to see you Gerald!!!
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:19 pm
@ShuttheBucUp
Shut the F*CK up.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:20 pm
Bring Troy Aikman down and let him QB our team. The old man would still play Much better than Freeman!
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:20 pm
Believe me
I am ready to eat crow
Still watching and rooting for the Bucs
But #5 is just painful to watch.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:21 pm
What…just because the Pack and Pats have good QB’s and I’m not sure about ours, we shouldn’t be Buc fans. It is called reality. I’ve always pulled for and believed in Josh, but now have my doubts.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:21 pm
Holy crap I hate these refs. Horse collar holding and they ignore it. Would have given us 1st and goal.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:21 pm
@ Patrick You SHUT the F*CK up….loser fan!
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:21 pm
FAKE IT!
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:22 pm
@Raphael you mean Free take the shackles off yourself? Lol
I don’t give a damn if we score or if Free completes some passes now when it doesn’t matter. My goodness, learn to play under pressure.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:22 pm
@raphael
I’m a realist, not blind like you are!
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:23 pm
@raphael – That’s the response of someone who knows they were wrong. Go back to berating others who dare criticize your man-love for Freeman.
And, oh yeah… You’re a dumb twit.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:23 pm
@Raphael
You are the biggest Homer on this board. Pretty much a joke.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:23 pm
Good job guys. Another loss to the Cowboys.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:23 pm
You think we’ll do the kneel down play again? That would be hilarious
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:23 pm
@ Patrick…wrong your a idiot !
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:23 pm
It is time to bench Freeman , let Blunt out of the dog house and get a new play caller! Another week like this and they will never fill the stadium.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:24 pm
watch the “victory formation” 🙂
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:24 pm
This is are QB future! Are you joking me..
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:24 pm
Wanna see the Kneel Down Defense Part II
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:24 pm
Let’s see what they do on the kneel down!
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:24 pm
This loss is ALL on the OC
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:25 pm
What is sad is that we could have picked up another good young QB to back up Josh in the last draft in case he isn’t the franchise guy…..but now we are at ground zero.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:25 pm
Why Boo?
Everybody knew that that was coming
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:25 pm
We got the best kneel down D in football.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:25 pm
@raphael
It’s *you’re, not YOUR
Idiot.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:26 pm
Do you think Dallas will be ready four our “kneeldown” defense?
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:26 pm
Is Brad Johnson still out there?

If you’re giving up on Freeman after 3 weeks in a new offense, you’re a moron. Stop.

3 KNEEL DOWN RUSHES THIS IS THE BEST PLAY CALLING OF THE GAME
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:27 pm
i love this team
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:28 pm
Ok seriously, Schiano is making a fool out of himself. LET THEM KNEEL IT DOWN.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:28 pm
We didn’t lose this game…we just ran out of time outs.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:28 pm
Does a Kneel down count as a sack?
Way to pad the sack stats then!!!!
That is three more at the end
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:28 pm
We couldn’t even beat the Cowboys when they had Brad Johnson playing QB.
Anyone REMEMBER that?
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:29 pm
The knee-down rushes were the best part of the game.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:29 pm
Wow. How bout our D lines up and does that to Freeman all week? Then maybe he will have an urgency to play better.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:29 pm
Loved the defense, but it’s time to buy a new quarterback. Why we can’t pass the ball in the first 3.5 quarters is unbeliveable.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:29 pm
false fans looking for fantasy yards, please leave the building. real fans stand up and applaud our newly improved team. proud to be a buc fan tonight, regardless of the play calls 🙂
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:30 pm
This is Freeman’s fourth year. He should be getting it together by now. He doesn’t seem to be progressing the last year and a half. My friend, that isn’t a good sign, new system or not.

Well, I like how we went after the kneel down 3 times. Schiano showed the nation media and the other teams that he doesn’t give a rip what they think. And the Cowboys were ready for it…so no risk of injury.
No more than normally.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:30 pm
It’s been 4 years new offense or not lol.
The offensive system doesn’t effect his decision making or accuracy.
End of story.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:31 pm
@ShutTheBucUp
The Bucs fans have been patient enough with Freeman!! The Cowboys fans trash Romo all the time, and he’s a good QB!!
That tells you we have good fans. Freeman would’ve been run out of Dallas after one season.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:31 pm
@ patrick…your a idiot
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:31 pm
Freeman are you there? Anyone home? Earth to Freeman, you were a 1st roun pick. Please feel free to perform at an average level. We would be 3-0 with average QB play.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:32 pm
This game was embarrassing because you couldnt have scripted a better scenario and then Freeman and this offended the game. FAILURE.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:32 pm
Horribly called offensive game plan. Brilliant defensive game plan. Can we ever get the two together??? I don’t know if Freeman is that bad or the play calling is that bad or just a combination of the two but that was another game we should have won but this time it was the offense instead of the defense. Frustrating…. Still light years better than last year’s team but frustrating.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:33 pm
Just curious…how many years did Alex Smith go before he got good? What held him back? (aside from injuries?) Alternating OCs.
I am not worried about Freeman. I am not worried (yet) about Sullivan. I AM worried about our offensive line. To me they had no more than 10 good plays in them, and nearly half of them were in the last drive. Just ask Martin and Blount.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:33 pm
ITS THE JOE BUCK CURSE!

YOU’RE an idiot.
YOU’RE
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:34 pm
We win that game with any other qb in the league and most backups
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:35 pm
@Pete Dutcher
Ok……so let’s wait seven years before Josh Freeman plays up to his draft status.
A true, pro bowl QB plays good no matter what.
Did we draft Freeman to be an AVERAGE QB, or be a true pro bowl QB that MOVE the ball downfield?
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:35 pm
@ Patrick …you go Girlfriend !!
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:35 pm
Let’s trade for Tony Romo once the Dallas fans run him out of town.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:36 pm
heh…Aikman said GMC hit was a well executed one that could have broken the jaw of Romo…nice!
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:36 pm
The victory formation may go the way of the dinosaur when teams play the Bucs. LOL! They have to protect like a regular play. Not like they didn’t know we were coming.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:36 pm
Pete how can you not be worried about Sully’s calls? They were almost mind boggling in the 4th quarter. We had no progress with the run all day. Yet we try and run the ball on first down in the first quarter when were behind. Do these coaches have no faith in freeman? I’m still mindblown by the play calls in the 2nd half. Oh and I’m sure Sully had something to do with Ware jumping on board. The guy who handed the Boys a TD. Great job. Get rid of that MF
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:37 pm
fourth, nor first
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:37 pm
You are what your record says you are….unless we are talking “moral victories”. We in Tampa are used to them, except for one magical year. At the end of the year, we will know if this team is better. We do know last year the team quit on Raheem.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:37 pm
Romo came damn close to fumbling on the second kneel-down…he was bobbling the ball all the way down. It’s ridiculous that we even have to resort to such shenanigans.
Listen, as much as I’m seriously questioning the competence of Mike Sullivan as a coordinator, I have to give some credit to Sheridan for learning from last week and putting his players in a position be be successful. There were some stellar individual performances across the DL. I hope Clayborne’s knee injury isn’t serious. He was nasty out there today.
I hope between now and next week we sort out the play-calling, the WR position and tell our QB to step INTO the pocket and move his feet. His regression (even in a new system) is terrifying. The guy has lost his mojo. I thought in 09-10 he was on his way to becoming a McNair-like QB. Instead, the kid has the legs of Leaf, vision of Testaverde and mind of Akili Smith.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:39 pm
I find it difficult to believe the offense only has the capability of marginally executing very basic plays. Something is terribly wrong with this whole picture.
Last week I thought it was just conservative play calling. This week I am beginning to believe they may not have but a few plays in their playbook. It has to be the most unimaginative offense I’ve seen in a very long time.
Sadly, today’s performance will not do much for ticket sales next week.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:40 pm
And is the measure of a good fan, how long they will tolerate crappy play? Well, I guess Viking fans must be the best in the league.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:40 pm
@Patrick
We drafted him to be a good QB for a defensive team. When he was drafted, that WAS the plan.
Personally, I think by the end of this season he will be playing lights out. I didn’t think we would win this game. I AM glad we kept it close.
The reason everyone here is stressed out is because all week they were saying how we would beat the Cowboys. Anyone with half a brain would have seen the odds were against that. But no. Everyone ignored the odds and then got mad when they were disappointed.
Now…get read for a real WIN next week. Both the defense AND the offense will play well, and these wishy-washy fans will change their tunes…yet again.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:42 pm
I think this is the play philosophy and we will either win or in the near future, lose with it. Isn’t that what Shiano said coming in?

I see plenty of faults in the play calling…but I’m not worried because I realize Sullivan is a first time OC developing his first playbook. Patience is required. He’ll learn from game to game. I highly doubt the Giants will be giving him much advice though.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:43 pm
@Pete Dutcher
There’s no excuse at all. We SHOULD’VE won this game. If Freeman had actually played like an NFL quarterback and GOTTEN just a few first downs, we would’ve gotten a victory.
Why……just cause Dallas is a good team, we can’t expect them to win?? Time to set the bar a little bit higher!
The college at my Division II college would’ve played better than Freeman today.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:44 pm
Sounds like I can’t wait to see the replay of this one.
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:44 pm
Next week we may win because we are playing a relatively lousy team. So that is where it is…we might beat lousy teams, but can just stay in the ballpark with good teams. Isn’t that where we were last year, until the team tanked it?
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:45 pm
we had the personnel to get this game down as a big ol’ W. It was the play calling and and a huge F-up by DJ Ware that set it up for failure. I say to hell with the saying “no moral victories”. We need to find the weak links and put their asses on the curb. ditch sully, ditch ware, get blunt back in play, and let our O roll. Our D is excellent. Keep it on track .
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:49 pm
@ShuttheBucUp
You’re putting it on Ware??
How bout on Freeman for not making any completions??
September 23rd, 2012 at 4:58 pm
Freeman was up to his same crap. Staring down receivers. But use the same receivers all game long until the end and it’s not hard to figure out who to cover. Same for the RB.
September 23rd, 2012 at 5:03 pm
Im saying Ware dropped the easy completion which led to a Cowgirls TD. If you want to talk offense, lets talk about the play calling. Even the intellectually disabled announcers couldnt believe the play calls. How can you put this all on Freeman? Are you going to put the last week loss on him too? I doubt it. Find the cancer at it’s source and cut it out.
September 23rd, 2012 at 5:12 pm
Again I forgot if we are “supposed” to lose we should be ok with losing. My bad my bad. Oh and Free wasn’t the number 1 pick overall Alex Smith was. You can’t compare them.
September 23rd, 2012 at 5:15 pm
not quite sure how anyone can defend anything on the offense playbook or not. You guys do see rookie QB’s doing just fine correct?
Look at Dalton and what they did to the Redskins at their ballpark today. They used imaginationon offense, just like a number of NFL and college teams.
September 23rd, 2012 at 5:17 pm
I hope Joe isn’t happy with us sticking with the run today..
Joe’s fine with it, but learn how to use the running back weapon on the bench. Freeman was 10-of-28. The running game didn’t cost the Bucs. –Joe
