Raheem’s Free-Agency Text
August 29th, 2012The man at the helm during the Bucs’ heinous, historic 10-game losing streak last season, Raheem Morris, said today he put fingers to keypad when the Bucs exploded in free agency and grabbed Vincent Jackson, Carl Nicks and Eric Wright soon after the bell rang on spending season in March.
Raheem joined WDAE-AM 620 this morning to explain that while he’s focused on his new job and moving forward with his career, he couldn’t help but needle rockstar general manager Mark Dominik, a man Raheem called “one of my friends forever.”
“I sent him a nice text that I won’t be able to say over the phone,” Raheem said.
The Bucs had among the lowest payrolls in the NFL when Raheem was head coach.
“I gave [Dominik] some nice choice words,” Morris told the Tampa Bay Times in a story published today.”But he was great about it. He laughed. He said he knew he was going to get this phone message.”
Raheem went on today to talk about how he scoffs at comments from those who say he ran an undisciplined program.
Joe will bring more from the interview later.

PLEASE…NO MORE, from that Clown! The man is the epitome of delusion! It’s not even funny anymore. Every time he opens his mouth he only embarrasses himself further.

He’s gone. End of chapter. I’m sick of hearing about him.

Worst. Coach. In. Buc. History….. EVER.
August 29th, 2012 at 9:44 am
he should wear one of those spinner hats

What would have been the point in spending money on players while that clown was in “control” because all that would have happened would have been an expensve team quitting on him and losing a bunch of games rather than a cheap one.
It would have been a waste of cash because that entire coaching staff was in over it’s head.

He couldnt win with the all-pro team
August 29th, 2012 at 9:52 am
I like Raheem. Such a great guy.
August 29th, 2012 at 9:52 am
“Raheem went on today to talk about how he scoffs at comments from those who say he ran an undisciplined program.”
Wow. Then what WAS his excuse for the team quitting on him?
If his team was in fact well-disciplined, then wouldn’t that equate to Raheem calling a terrible defense? This could be closer to the truth afterall. 🙂

This is the same man who after getting fired after losing 10 straight said he wouldn’t change a thing. He is a tard. He is literally of low mental capacity.

When the Redskins come to Tampa next month, the Glazers will convince Morris and Bruce Allen to come back.
August 29th, 2012 at 10:09 am
Rah stunk, but in his defense the Glazers and Dom did jack sh!t.
A punter, Derrick Ward, and Fat Albert Haynesworth off of waivers are all laughable roster “additions”.
Raheem lost the team, no doubt.
The team was deprived of talent because of the Glazer/Dom’s refusal to spend.
I am stoked for this year, and it is nice to finally see the green backs flowing towards the player’s contracts.
Time for some former 1st round picks to establish their stake in this franchise.
2012 should be a fun year.

the skins may give us a fit. i’m sure it will be his mission to take us down,…and he knows the weak points of Free. + TJax & Briscoe will probably have a chip on their shoulder. lol
August 29th, 2012 at 10:13 am
The Rah was a turrible coach but to say he was the worst…Dunno about that. Our team has a long and distinguished list of turrible coaches.

I didn’t know Charles Barkley was is in Rachel Watson’s pants!
August 29th, 2012 at 10:20 am
I can see the text now:
Hey Dom, ya know, you take off your f#@%ing underwear when Im gone. Put on your big f#@%ing boy pads…, and put your face on the f#@%ing free agents, word dawg?
August 29th, 2012 at 10:35 am
Look, Everyone knew Rah. was just a stop gap. He was ceap until they found their guy!
August 29th, 2012 at 10:42 am
I could never watch or listen to anything that guy ever said. I would always check out, 30 seconds into his blubbering. Twitter was probably invented for idiots like him, two short sentences and out.
Greig above was correct in that if you gave Raheem and Dom money to misspend we would be suffering through all the idiotic signings for the next decade. They would have given Freeman a life time guaranteed contract like Longoria’s.
It’s a good thing that we have the New Schiano Order and he had the money to spend. The main mistake was not firing Dom. A new broom should sweep clean and they missed a spot.

Is the Skin’s game blacked out? Does anyone know when the game will play on Direct TV? If anyone does please identify which time zone.
August 29th, 2012 at 11:38 am
Was raheem on board when we offered albert haynsworth over 100 million and d ward 5 million per?
August 29th, 2012 at 11:59 am
@ Miguel Grande
I don’t know if you are trying to be funny, but Skins games don’t get blacked out, there are too many ways to get to the games and get free or low priced tickets. I keep sayin this as a person who lives in Maryland, transportation is half the battle get people to go to games. When I go to FedEx to see my Bucs play, I never have to drive or pay parking. As long as there is a metrorail system in the DMV The skins don’t have to worry about blackouts. If Tampa had a metrorail I bet there would be a lot more people at games.
August 29th, 2012 at 12:38 pm
I agree about the Metrorail for Tampa. I think it would also help the Rays if it went there as well.
August 29th, 2012 at 12:45 pm
@Buc_The_World living in the DMV also (right next to new carrollton metro) I also never have to walk. The redskins will never be blackout. Easier to get to the games means more people will be willing to go.
August 29th, 2012 at 12:47 pm
@Miguel Dom isn’t going anywhere. If the Schiano Order succeeds then Dom is a hero. If it doesn’t then Schiano can’t coach……..seems to be a reoccurring theme
August 29th, 2012 at 2:41 pm
I agree that Raheem was a terrible head coach, but I don’t really see a reason to blast him about it. He should never have been given the job due to lack of any experience. m Who in their right mind promotes someone from position coach to head coach? That jump is far too big. The guy needed a few mor years as a positon coash, then some as a coordinator. Sure its possible to find esceptions to what I am saying, but cleary Rah is not one of them.

I bet this is absolutely killing Thomas to not be able to post. Admit it Joe, you created this article for that reason. Well played sir !
