Mark Dominik On Lavonte David
April 27th, 2012Joe scribbled down some notes when Bucs rock star general manager Mark Dominik spoke to the pen and mic club about second round draft pick, Nebraska linebacker Lavonte David.
“We thought he could make an impact,” Dominik said. “He’s the type of man we want here. His numbers speak volumes. He’s one of the best coverage linebackers in the entire draft.
“He’s a good kid — a great kid.”

I had Barron and L. David in my mock I released on Wednesday. Barron as a Wildcard and L. David in the second.
Yes…that’s right…I predicted 2 of the 3 picks 😛
Of course…on Barron I had him as a wildcard in top of the second round…IF he happened to fall to us.
Heck yeah I’m tooting my own horn.

Pete-
I am not sure it counts as much when your mock draft has 5 picks for every pick. But good thinking on Barron.

It’s because I do only one mock instead of 5-6 like most guys.

Did everyone catch that Schiano said David can play either Sam or Wil? Don’t think your starting position is safe just yet, Nancy Black!

Boykin would be nice. Not sure we will see his name available in the 5th but if nothing else the man would be beast on special teams.
