Adam Schein “Sick” Over Morris Claiborne

April 4th, 2012

Fan favorite Adam Schein is outraged that the Wonderlic test results for a possible Bucs draft pick, LSU cornerback Morris Claiborne, were leaked yesterday. In this FoxSports.com video, Schein details how he would prevent these leaks from happening in the future. As usual for Schein, he pulls no punches.

I agree totally. In the future players should just refuse to take the test if they tell you it is confidential and then leak the results. This should also embarrass all the morons who posted the usual drivel about Claiborne and piled on when they learned of his score yesterday. How foolish to think that somehow this kid would be unable to perform in the NFL because of his score. When it comes to testing plain old ‘common sense’, many on here would score a zero.

    Bobby,

Morris Claibourne schematically thinks, like GMC does bicep curls.

  3. legacy Says:

I did the online wonderlic test scored a 27.anyways Stephen Gilmore will be the best corner in this draft within 2 years .

I agree with Schein, This result should have never been made public. My daughter was born with a cleft lip and palate, greatly changing her appearance. Does it say anything about who she is as a person? NO! A player with a KNOWN disability should not be put in this position publicly. The person or persons behind the leaking of this information should be fired!

  5. jvato24 Says:

Actually I think Claiborne having a learning disability, especially if he has a successful NFL career is a great thing to be public about as it shows as long as you accept help and get a tutor you can graduate from college and still do big things.

  6. Have A Nice Day Says:

SteveK: still unable to understand the difference between muscular strength and specific genetic tendon weakness. I’m betting McCoy could easily curl 100 lbs in each hand 10 reps 3-5 sets. My husband can do that at 50 lbs less.

  7. Have A Nice Day Says:

    ***50 lbs less body weight.

  8. Bobby Says:

@SteveK….hey brainiac, get online and take the wonderlic test and then imagine someone with a learning disability trying to take that test in the allotted time frame. It’s easy to criticize someone like Claiborne but it really just makes you look like the pathetic human YOU are.

  9. Aldo Says:

if wonderlic is the meassure to qualify NFL quality players, then ryan fitzpatrick should be almost god with his 49!!! and i wonder, how good is he for the bills???

or what happened with the miserable 15 than Dan Marino gets huh??? what a bust of player he was right???

this Mo situation dont bother me, actually, i like it in some way, he can be so “dumb” that the only talent to live is playing football and he will play his ass for that to live well!!!!

  10. Bobby Says:

Just to put it into perspective, I scored a 30 on the online test and it told me I did better than Peyton Manning who scored a 28. Now…does that mean I have the potential to be a better QB than Manning????!!!! Manning is obviously brilliant at what he does and more importantly he is gifted athletically. Claiborne is gifted athletically and probably really struggles when faced with a quiz that has time constraints and doesn’t give him time to think things through. Has nothing to do with his ability to learn a defensive system or scheme. Time constraints are off and it’s something that requires more instinct and physical ability than brain power. I have every confidence that Claiborne will be a stud CB in the NFL.

  11. ben Says:

Claiborne could be like rain man and he already knows where the ball is going with out thinking

  12. crazy Says:

All good points, but the test probably tells a team how reliable a player’s college transcripts were than what his football IQ is. Whatever Claiborne’s score was it sounds like he made one heck of an effort to get thru college. The Bucs could use a little more effort like that.

  13. vov Says:

I think the main point is how did someone like this even attend a college. More evidence it is all just a farce. Before you say something dumb like “he got a tutor” just listen to yourself. Consider how hard some college class work can be before you end up looking as dumb as him.

  14. Bobby Says:

@vov….before YOU look any dumber..do you even know what a learning disability is??? A tutor could have done wonders for him. The wonderlic is a timed test that puts pressure on the individual, even with NO learning disability. For someone who may need extra time to comprehend it would be very hard to complete. Quit being judge and jury on this kid. You have no idea what his circumstances are.

  15. BKNYfootballhead Says:

Before everyone goes off on ‘vov’ for his moronic comment, lets all just remember his disability and go easy on him.
After all, he can’t help that the placenta was wrapped around his neck at birth, or that the doctor had to cut it from the rear end.
Mercy! That’s an ignoramous comment if i’ve ever read one.

  16. bucfat Says:

I totally agree with Schein. Sleazy American media. Wouldnt have happened in Canada.
