So basically he says everything was equal and they lost because they turned the ball over.
WRONG
They lost because they could not run, they turned the ball over, their O-Line was beat all day, their D-Line was beat all day, Brees was under constant pressure while Freeman had time, and Ingram had no holes while Graham had holes.
They can look at the stats all they want and rationalize what they “saw” but the bottom line is the Bucs beat the Saints in the trenches on both sides of the ball.
If anything, it should have been more lopsided of a score if the Bucs punch in a couple other drives instead of settling for FGs.

The way they look longingly into each others eyes says it all….

The only DL member that did anything was Cameron Jordan on Trueblood. I’m smelling an upgrade necessary at the RT spot.
Will Smith did nothing against Penn, who had his best showing of the year.

You sure can tell a difference between the New Orleans local media and the Tampa Bay local media.

Yes folks, if the Saints had not turned the ball over 4 times but instead, only 2 with 2 turnovers in their favor, they probably would have won. Wow…and if Calvin Johnson had not caught TD’s in game one, the Bucs would have won.
In the words of Chief Justice Rehnquist: “If my aunt was a man, she would be my uncle”

Tristan- really? They seem alot alike to me. New Orleans media is saying the Saints really won. Tampa media is saying the saints really won. They have alot in common. Both Saints fan( except IRa Kaufman, who loves none but the Patriots)

@Mauha Deeb I thought Trueblood had a good game, didn’t hear his name mentioned once, which is what I want form my O-line.

I probably should have banged Kathy Ireland, but it didn’t seem to work out that way.

If only I could play guitar and sing better then I’d be a rock star…

Let me fess up…I should be rich. If I had taken those Microsoft stock options back in 92, I would be too rich and snooty to hang around in dingy blogs like this, with the likes of you heathens.

turn overs “ARE” part of the game. i hate the New Orphan Skanks! bottom line we out scored your team and thats that, wheather we ran the ball better or protected better who cares, its not like the leauge is gna give u crawfish eatin crybabies 1/2 a win cuz 2 guys who seem a lil tooo close to each other think they should have won. “IF” the 49’s forgot they had a game last week and didnt show up to the game then we would have won lol.

Hey Joe,
Thanks for posting these video’s bud. I LOVE to see what the opposing teams media has to say about us before a game, and I especially love hearing their excuses after a Bucs win.
Please keep this trend up, these are fun to watch.

Jrock:
Not all media outlets have embraced video the way the Times-Picayune has or the various Comcast/Fox outlets in other cities.
Why, there’s a newspaper Joe greatly respects in this area that is housed in the same building with a TV station, both owned by the same company, that preaches “convergence” like a Baptist minister preaches abstinance and for them to cut a video, you would think someone would catch an Ebola virus.
Once upon a time Joe questioned a staffer at said newspaper about this and said staffer scoffed at video.
Um, it’s 2011, not 1951.
Joe can say without reservation that Fox Sports Florida may be the worst local Fox affiliate for covering local sports. Virtually every other Fox regional channel has a local sports studio show each night.
Not here.

Except for those two punches that landed on the guys jaw to knock him out….the fight was pretty even.
