What has Joe excited is the Bucs’ quick-strike offense. You rip off 24 second-half points on the road on the ground and in the air and you’ve got a Bucs offense that hasn’t existed in history.
Kudos to Donald Penn for grinding out a win against Jared Allen and for the defensive standing up in the second half. Joe will be churning out all kinds of quotes and takes. Keep coming back through the day.

As exciting as these comeback wins are this team can never be a real contender playing this way. This 2nd half comeback stuff doesn’t work against the best teams in the league. When they put you in a 17-0 halftime hole they put their cleats on your neck and snap it in the 2nd half. What gives? I’ve never seen this in the NFL before. The Bucs are like the freaking Rocky Balboa of football. They can’t get motivated until they’ve been smacked around for a while.

Creamsicle, I agree wholeheartedly with your truism. But you make my point. Inconsistency is not at work here, it’s consistency. The Bucs consistently start slow, make apparent halftime adjustments and play much better in the 2nd half. To be inconsistent, they would sometimes play a good 1st half and the play a lousy 2nd half. However, I will leave you with this for comedic value – I”m a city guy and never lived on a farm, but a farmer once told me that the only difference between horses#@t and chickens#@t is consistency!

Crazy win!! I love it . I think alot of the problem was the assinine lockout. I think it affected the young offense more than a vet team. But looked like our skilled players got in sync better.
Gotta fix the OLBers and O-line ,to really start playing well. Penn did great today. Other than than fluke sack, he frustrated Allen all day. The rest of the line played badly. Gotta fix it.
Love seeing Freeman getting back to ” Cardiac” Form. Great win from behind.
