I think if the offer was made, the Jets would trade Sanchez for Freeman in a heartbeat.

  2. Matthew Levanduski Says:

Obviously I think just about every team in the league would trade their QB straight up for Freeman. Even the Colts and Pats would have to strongly consider the move going forward.

  3. BucFan941 Says:

yes we are lucky many ppl didnt like the pick at the time..now we are the team on the way to be great

  4. Apple Roof Cleaning Says:

I was one who did not like the pick by Tampa, at the time. I just felt we might have got Josh later on. Thank GOD I am not running the Buc’s! Josh was an absolute steal where we got him, and what we paid to move up. He will be the face of Tampa for many years to come. he is an awesome QB, and an awesome team leader.

  5. BigMacAttack Says:

Yeah, count me in on that too. I ate a lot of crow since that pick too. He was the best player in that draft, and Raheem was the only one that really knew it. People are getting on board. The only thing missing on Freeman is a cape.

  6. Pete Dutcher Says:

I think the Lions got the short end of that draft. Stafford hasn’t done anything at all, has he?

I was surised and a little upset at the pick…I thought the Bucs should have taken a QB the year before. However, Freeman won me over before he even played a game…just with his leadership personality.

  7. Pete I Says:

I know Sanchez has the playoff experience but I am glad we have Freeman. If Sanchez wasn’t on a pretty good team he might be Stafford, without the injury bug.

I also agree what has Stafford done? Get injured, maybe its just a fluke but, if not, he will join the ranks of great QB’s “when healthy”.
