Keeping Talib Is Bad For Morale
June 9th, 2011It’s a bird. It’s a plane. No, it’s JoeBucsFan TV.
In this Emmy award winning cut from the JoeBucsFan studios, NFL.com blogger/Bucs beat writer Jenna Laine sits down with Joe to serve up her take on everyone’s favorite cabbie-slugging, helmet-wielding cornerback.
Clarification: This video was taped prior to Talib’s indictment.

Honestly I was hoping Jenna, being a bucs beat writer on NFL.com, would have something new to say about this situation. All she did was review Talib’s rap sheet… which anyone who visits this site would already know about. Ah well

Think her take on morale has a lot of legs, even though the Bucs would never admit it. They may be family, but those fairness issues are present in every family I know. Plus she might have gotten feedback on that. Reading her stuff on NFL.com, she clearly talks to a lot of players.

I’m with JRock on this one, being the Bucs beat writer and being that she is so busy following the team to know the name of the movie was “The Longest Yard”….uncomfortable silence….I was hoping she would deliver some information that would be new to us.

Guys, ease up on Jenna.
This video was taped prior to Talib’s indictment.

this is the worst video ive ever seen.

What is bad for moral is losing. Talib helps us win so if it is a morale argument, you keep the guy.

The only new news after his indictment was that he was indicted, which we all expected to happen.
Not trying to badmouth her at all Joe, she put all of Talib’s misfortunes in one tidy package that I am sure the average fan was glad to have explained to them in one place. I’m just not an average fan

?????????????
So you’d rather look at a half-drunk Joe with a beer in his hand???
June 9th, 2011 at 4:49 pm
Hell yea Joe, I’d much rather see you drinking beer and blasting BSPN. Any day.
To the rest of you there’s nothing wrong with this video. Were you expecting breaking news on Talib?? Some of you bitch at anything. You think everyone respects Talib on the Bucs, then I’ve got a bridge to sell you. They know they can’t trust him

Laine: “I understand the need to protect your family and to be there for your family. And this was a family incident from what I understand.”
From what she understands? Huh? That’s been a known fact from day one. Very poor. She need to improve a lot if she wants to take it to the next level. And the eye rolls need to stop.
Learned nothing from this.
And I don’t care if she’s attractive. I’d rather get important info. on the Bucs from some dude than to see an attractive female tell us stuff we already know.

Sorry Joe,
I posted on the wrong thread before, but she glanced at her list at least 15 times and it wasn’t working for her. She might get away with that unrehearsed stuff on the national scene, but your readers pretty much know the Bucs inside out, upside down, and backwards. No offense, but you should have tasted your food before you served it. Keep your fingers crossed that soon we will back in business, with better stories to tell. Still luv ya bro.

If you are looking for fresh takes and a different angle, then you will very much appreciate Jenna’s next video.

I do have to admit she did a great job. Especially considering the hefty Italian(I hope that is right) drooling over her the whole time. I get get cold boots from my own woman staring me down…. I can only imagine Jenna’s nerves were wrought trying her darndest to deal with Joe’s verboten glances.

She’s cute, and telling the truth. You guys are just being patethic Talib apologist, and possibly Guy. Get some principles, and grow up! 🙂

Jenna’s a FAN. For REAL. I met this gal while working the Super Bowl a couple years back in Tampa. She knows her stuff. If you pay attention to the text, it reads that the video was taped before the indictment. Check out her writings on Blog Blitz and see the proof. She’s a die hard fan, but also professional sports reporter which makes look at things objectively. I don’t want to see Talib go either, but the truth is there can’t be favoritism in a young team. There can’t be a STAR on this team yet. That’s the advantage of having a youthful team. They all GROW together. If the Blount were to have an off the field issue following Talib’s and he gets disciplined, then the “Why me and not him?!” conversations can pop up. That definitely could split a locker room. However, if they were to keep him and suspend him for some games, that could be the kind of message that further unifies this team. Can’t wait to see how it pans out.
