Where The Hell Was The Holding Call?
December 5th, 2010Joe just ran across this photo from the Associated Press shot today in the Bucs loss to the Dixie Chicks. The photo shows Michael Turner scoring on a five-yard touchdown run in the first quarter. But as Joe learned long ago, the background makes the photo.
Joe would just love for any NFL official to e-mail him at joe@joebucsfan.com and explain to Joe how this is not a holding call?
Granted, this doesn’t mean the Dixie Chicks would not have scored on the drive even if a penalty was called but good grief, that’s not just a hold that’s a friggin’ choke hold that’s even illegal in the WWE!
Come on!

Classic!
The Falcons do this EVERY game they play. They hardly ever get holding called against their O-Line.
Arthur Blank has pretty deep pockets.

There was holding ALL NIGHT LONG! We should have had Matt Ryan sacked several times and because holding we couldn’t get to him!

Every five minutes you see that stupid commercial with the disco chickens on the bus bobbing heads the N.F.L. has made it clear who they want to win this was a huge bagjob fix terrible job by the zebras once again

There was so much holding in this game is was nothing but rape on the line of scrimmage. They had to call the one where GMC was going to pummel Ryan because it was so blatant that if they didn’t hold Ryan would have had to get false teeth cause McCoy was going to level him.
Worst officials ever, and although I don’t blame Talib he definitely helped gain attention from a once least penalized team to one of the most in the last three weeks.

On the topic of officiating, what about Periera going on and saying that the second interception should be overturned? Havent heard a whole lot about that after this game. Mildly disconcerting when the former head of officials goes on the broadcast and says that only to have the official on the field rule the opposite.

In that same photo, notice the loving embrace # 77 has on our linebacker! See the arms wrapped completely around him! I think that is Quincy Black, and he may need a pregnancy yeast after that snuggle job!

Capt Tim is back! Where have you been my man? I will say that every ATL game I have watched this year is full of bad calls helping them out. If it was just when the Bucs were playing I would say everyone thinks their team gets screwed, but ATL is untouchable.

The Atlants Falcons are this years IT team meaning the NFL has put all there eggs in the Falcon basket and will do whatever means necessary to ensure a Falcon Victory! We have never had calls go our way and in this game especially towards the end I felt we were getting bullied by the officiating crew and I’m pissed off beyond words..lol

Bucs Babe:
Makes you want to ride a school bus and bob your head and smile to the thumping music in your headphones, doesn’t it?

Come on Joe we don’t get those calls only the “elite” teams get those calls.
Sad that the outcome of a game is bad calls. like the Horse collar flag, what BS is this? Is this tackle football or flag football. You grab what you can (not the face-mask) and pull. The way it is going eventually you won’t be able to hit players anywhere but the numbers. Or you get a penalty.
I thought we had the Falcons just where we needed them, then the Yellow equalizers came out.
Watching the game I was reading Mr Blanks lips as he talked to Coach Smith, I think he said see I told you we would win with the calls at the end. Coach smith smiled and said yeah you where right..
