as good as? No, Freeman is one of the best young QBs, Ryan is definitely a little ahead of him, Flacco is a game manager, nothing more. Bradford is going to be very good, Sanchez is horrible, that Jets D hides a ton of offensive flaws, and Stafford is injury prone and will probably never reach his full potential. Did I miss any 3 yr or less QBs?

Bucs wont make the playoffs with raheem losing the way.

@ flmike; All good points. I especially agree with you on Flacco and Sanchez. How about pure talent of QBs in the league. Freeman is up there. It’s just a matter of time before is is considered one of the best current QBs.

who’s practice squad player will step up 4 the Buccaneers this week we need a Decent linebacker and 3 Teck to cover down of McCoy and Black.They got five days to prepare to see action and plenty of it Watson and Hayworth are the last linebackers left and are predominantly specials teams players. I do admire the production Coach Morris is getting out of players who don’t know thet system and and fresh out other teams parctice squads.

Pete422 and flmike,
Yes sir to both of you. Much respect is due to Ryan and he has earned that as with the ATL Falcons because they went through so much as a franchise with a coach quitting and the media circus of the dog fighting scandal. I don’t believe in Flacco, doesn’t have that it. He is very good but the it isn’t there, you will see how good he is when Lewis retires and they ask him to lead. Sanchez is what most people thought he was, no one really care about Sanchez because there is very little substance to him as with most USC QB’s. Palmer, Sanchez, and Leinhart to name a few…His limited success is due to a loaded defense thats being exposed now. Stafford is still in question because I really like him and he has that it about him and he is loaded with substance too but undortunately he cant stay healthy and some of that is not his fault. I wish him the best but of all of the young QBs, Ryan and Freeman are a cut above the rest and thats the undeniable truth. Its a testament to both that injuries have plague both rosters but like Brady and Manning they have remained the constants, winning with whoever is on the roster. If the Bucs make it to the playoffs, are they epxected to go deep? No but I tell you who don’t wanna see the Bucs, the new arch nemesis, the Dixie-Chicks and the Iceman; even in the dome, they will not beat the Bucs 3 times in a year. So if we can squeeze through the wildcard round by beating maybe Seattle or ST. Louis we would then get to play the 1 seed and that would be the show-stopper, end their fairy-tale season in 60-minutes.

@Leroy Buttermilk;
Actually Watson and Hayward (not Hayworth) played very well in the absence of Quincy Black. In fact some fans prefer those two to Black. They are hardly just special teams players. There is linebacker Tyrone McKenzie on the practice squad if they need him. But I see what you mean if they see a LB they like out there & want to bring him in.
