Saints Pull Out Miracle
November 26th, 2010Joe is tossing and turning and probably won’t sleep at all after the horrendous choke job by the Cowboys against the Saints last night.
Figures.
It pained Joe to root for the Cowboys, but the Bucs would have been greatly helped by a Saints loss. Joe suffered through it, pulling for Jon Kitna and the fumble-happy Dallas offense only to see Roy Williams give away the game in the final minutes.
Put two hands on the damn football!!!!!!!!!!
Ugh. The Saints nearly dropped their third NFC game of the season, a critical total for Wild Card tiebreakers. New Orleans (8-3) is 7-2 in the conference. The Bucs are 5-2 against NFC opponents.

I know what you mean, growing up I was a Buc’s fan #1 and a Redskins fan #2. Never root for the Cowboys! That said I tried to stay neutral yesterday and would have enjoyed a Saints loss without fanfair.
I always enjoy a “boys” loss particually in the temple Jones built to himself.
What is funny is that I have lessened my love for the Redskins since the Snyder ownership years but I have not lessened my love of the Buc’s since the Glaziers arrived – like some Buc fans.
But then again Jack Kent Cooke was a great FB owner and guy and Mr. C – not so much so.

By the way, if anyone watched the Lions get annihilated again yesterday, if continues to prove my preseason point! With Stafford n the game, the lions can win, without him, forget it! Detroit idiots should have drafted a LT at 2nd draft spot. They are working hard to showcase Suh, he’s made no difference at all in their record!! They will remain losers!

Good point Capt. (did I really just say that? lol just kidding bud)
I keep telling all my friends when they groan about the latest Suh highlight reel (they come out every Sunday). I tell them: “I’ll take Freeman/McCoy over Stafford/Suh”.
Everyone applauded the Lions for their draft this year. But did they really do that well? Javhid Best was playing lights out up until week 3 and he remembered that he’s 5’9″ 165 lbs. Their crappy O-Line continues to hold them back. Not to mention, trading for Alphonso Smith didn’t help them at all. Everyone thought this would be the year for the Lions to get out of the basement, but sorry De-twa, that’s our ticket to the Penthouse.

Cowboys suck and Roy Williams is a turd, but what else is new?
Atleast the Saints performance was just further evidence that they are far from elite or unbeatable. Our week 17 match up is a very winnable game. We beat them in thier own house last year and we can do it again with this team, that is much better than last year’s team.

Just another reason for me to hate the Cowgirls!

On Detroit, Stafford & Suh…
…they have had how many top 3 picks in the last few years? Heck, longer than a few years. And yet they still suck.
Back in the draft, I was hping they’d go LT…it would have been the smart move for them…but that’s just it…they NEVER go with the smart move. That’s why they suck.
