Great comeback, but I just can’t feel good about this win. The O-line was continually getting pushed back into our own backfield about 3 yards, no matter who was running the ball. We broke out one good run (Graham). They also struggled horribly picking up the blitzes and stunts. Freeman got hit so much, he’s gonna get gunshy if they keep this up.
The few times there were holes, the RBs made the runs. Caddy had a couple 8-10 yard runs, Graham had the big one. It’s not like the backs can’t run. They ran the same play with Caddy and again later with Blount. A stretch right. Both got backed up 3 yards deep and tried to turn it back the other way for about a 6 yard loss each. How are we letting the defense 3 yards in our backfield on a run play?
Cody Grimm played a very good game, and I’m not just talking about the pick 6. He was everywhere making tackles. Talib (for being a future Pro Bowl shut down corner) didn’t look impressive to me. McCoy dang near had his first sack today.
Don’t know what to expect going forward. They’re winning ugly. If they can stop looking ugly, they could be REAL good, but I’m not expecting that anytime soon. Be ready for more “Hold your breath til the final second ticks off” games.

The O-line looked lost on who to block on the blitzes…. they had no clue. Horrible for a group of guys who (for the most part) have been together for a few years now.
