We really need a d-line coach. My daughter could ride her tricycle to the end zone and not have a scratch on her. Ya she’s that much tougher than our d-line.
Mr. Schmucky,
Being positive about your team isn’t the same as drinking Kool Aid. Yes, the Bucs are getting pasted today, but c’mon man, why you gotta be a jerk?
I’m confident that the Canal Street Chronicles is looking for another Saints fan. Head on over, bro, and stay there.
Beat down today by a superior team. Rah got flat outschemed today, however, we’re still right where we need to be in terms of record and as long as we beat the teams we’re supposed to beat I still feel good about our direction.
I’m not all doom and gloom, but it is upsetting that we were physically beaten by a finesse team. New Orleans came in here and beat us up and down on both sides of the line of scrimmage. They don’t have a very good offensive line yet the dominated our D line and especially our linebackers.
Outschemed? They got punched in the face. The D-Line was wearing Roller Skates when they weren’t flopping on the ground. They got manhandled, not outschemed.
Bucs got beat pretty bad. It has a LOT if not everything to do with the defensive coordinator. Hey ever since Raheem took over for the defense, ahem, nevermind.
His defense’s are giving up mega yards, no if, and buts about it.
OK, so now we know who the Buccaneers are. I’m not sure if “they are who we thought they were” but they are a team that can beat bad and average teams (at least to this point). That isn’t all bad given our schedule. I think we can go on a nice little run here until we play the Ravens. All these games against good teams are good experience and shows where we are as a team.
yeah I can’t understand why Tampa won’t sell out next week! What a game! It was really…really close. Oh wait that’s the Miami/Green Bay game I was watching not Tampa Bay.
Absolutely. Did you see the first half? Our guys were never in position on the run or the pass. We bring a blitz, they throw a screen. We slant our line to the right, they run left. Rah lost the chess match against Payton. As the game wore on obviously it didn’t matter what was called because the game was out of reach but early on the Saints pushed all the right buttons and knew exactly where to attack us.
No need to get a new DC. Rah just needs to continue to grow and add layers to his schemes. You heard the announcers say what the Tampa 2 is; it’s a rally up and tackle defense. We’ve always been bad against the run (due to having lighter players) and given up tons of yards…but usually not points. We bend but don’t break. I’ve got no problem with Rah.
“Lets get someone in here for real that knows how to position these guys in the right spots.”
Are you kidding me? They are not in the right spots because their asses are getting pushed out of their spots. You know nothing about football if you really think that is the reason they ran all over us. They ran all over us because (right now) we don’t have the talent/experience to stop it. Every team has done it since the Panthers started it in 2008. It’s about getting manhandled up front and missing tackles. Our line is getting pushed around, and our linebackers are not making plays. We are going to get better, but stop jumping the gun and trying to fire everyone because you think you know what you are talking about.
Thank God they don’t let fans make decisions. We would have a new coach/DC/OC every single week. Sometimes I just wish ignorant people would just STFU. Efficient running game + zero pass rush + very young team = big plays.
If you’re talking about last year, difference between Rah and the Jim Bates Experience has been well documented. This year, it’s been more individual plays vs some sort of flaw in the scheme (outside of today’s game). If you want Rah gone then you must have wanted Monte gone as well because we’re playing the exact same style.
Raheem’s defense sucks. Stop STILL trying to put it on Jim Bates. Raheem can’t even call a tenth of the game Monte could call. Get your nose out of Rahs nizzles boouuuyyy.
Seriously, you really need to chill. You just sound like an idiot. We gave up 31 to New Orleans (7 of which was a cheap TD after a failed onside kick), that’s not a catastrophe. Do you understand that we are young and it’s difficult to stop a great offense with that kind of youth? Who on that defensive line would play better for another DC? We have 3 new starters on the DL and Stylez White, not exactly the Steel Curtain. It has nothing to do with scheme and everything to do with talent. If you don’t like Raheem, then fine, that’s your opinion and you are entitled to it. But you have unrealistic expectations for this defense if you expect ANYONE to come in here and do a better job.
Facts are facts bro. If you want you can look at the yards we gave up with Monte vs. the yards we have given up under Rah in the last 6 games and the first 4 this year.
Further, look beyond your bias and put Rah’s coaching job in perspective. We have a young team that is talented but is by no means a finished product. We have holes at d-end and safety. We’ve beaten who we were “supposed” to beat and lost to who we were “supposed” to lose to. Yes, giving up the big play is disturbing from a scheme standpoint but you’re probably the only person in Tampa wanting to get rid of Rah after losing to the Super Bowls champs in year 2 of a rebuild.
“In the name of JESUS we come before you father, and ask you to take this plague called Raheen Morris from your children here in Tampa”
“Father, we realize Tampa is an evil place, with Ybor City, Nebraska Avenue, and more pawn shops, dirty bookstores, and ambulance chasing attorneys per capita then anywhere else, but we pray Father that in your mercy you will give Tampa a competitive football team again” AMEN!

Freeman is a good QB. Our receivers look promising. Our Running game is inept, but that’s because Raheem still uses the washed up Caddy.
But our defense, OMG. Seriously guys. We only can slow down, a little, the sorry teams. And they still run for 150 against us.
We have the worst run defense in the world, giving up 5 yds per carry. Give me a break. Raheem has his guys out of position on more plays than not.
That’s NOT a sign of a good defensive coordinator.
Lets get someone in here for real that knows how to position these guys in the right spots.

“We bend but don’t break”
Sure broke today. In fact, since Raheem has been the coach he is always giving up big passing touch downs.
Either way, if this is the kind of team you are happy with, then keep voting for Rah.
The house of cards just came tumbling down.
