“Mike Whatshisname”
October 8th, 2010Pat Kirwan and Jason Horowitz take a deeper look into the Bucs-Bengals game Sunday in this CBSSports.com video. Kirwan doesn’t like Cedric Benson but he does like “Mike Whatshisname.” Joe wonders if you do as well?

kirwan is his usual dumb-A$$.Makes you feel bad for the guy who has to sit next to him!

No exaggeration, every single week Josh Freeman gets 5 lbs heavier according to Kirwan. By the end of the season Kirwan will be claiming Freeman is 315lbs and 8ft tall.

I understand Kirwan’s logic but he has picked against the Bucs in each of their first three games. If he is a betting man, eventually he will get tired of losing or run out of money. The key for the Bucs is defense, pass rush and run stopping. Put Palmer on his back like the Giants did to Cutler and make him a non factor. Run the ball and control the clock and win this game 16-10 in good old Buc Ball Fashion.

If we beat the Bengals on Sunday, I think it’s “fair” to say that we have a fair shot at the playoffs. 3-1 is pretty solid if we can get there.

If we’re 3-1, we could actually go .500 the rest of the season (6-6) and finish with a 9-7 record. And maybe that’ll be good enough for us to qualify for the playoffs. It has many times before for a lot of teams.

Oh no, not 9-7, Katy bar the door, that’s the curse of death, anything but 9-7.

Tampa’s Josh Freeman keeps getting bigger with Kirwan all the time. Josh Whatshisname is up to 6 ft 6 and 265 now

BTW, Michael Lewis was released from the 49ers 5 days ago, yet this website has made no suggestion of picking him up…safeties are dropping left and right in this league…just sayin’

FGO- looks like they are gonna go with Grimm. Morris stated that, other than the first touchdown, he had a good game. Raheem said his first game was better than Retard Jackson’s first start. Even on the touchdown, Grimm was in perfect posistion. He just turned to find the ball at the exact second it flew over his head. Hopefully he proved to be a great safety, although you’d think he was better suited for Strong Safety!

Already have a washed up Strong. If you wanted to bring him in to make you feel better about Sean Jones, then sure.

Jermaine Philips would be a good option. It’s been a little over a year since he had that injury early on in the 2009 season, so he’s probably healthy by now. He knows our defense well and our defense did well every year with him starting.
