Herm Edwards Believes Bucs Will Stink In 2010
June 13th, 2010Target of outrage by Bucs fans, Adam Schein has already spoken out about his belief the Bucs will struggle this season. But could Herm Edwards join Schein in the patheon of Bucs fans loathing?
The former Bucs secondary coach took a step towards that end this morning as he Twittered that the Bucs will have another awful season.
@timmybrownlee: how does the nfc south finish up next season?
@HermEdwardsESPN: I like the atl /no/car/bucs.
So from a former Bucs coach and an NFL savant, the Bucs will finish in the basement of the NFC South this season. Again.
Joe hopes Bucs fans have plenty of Caybrew stocked up for this fall. It’s going to be a long season apparently.

They won’t stink….they are a team early in the rebuilding process, after 3-4 years of denial. They are a young team trying to get to the play off level.
That is the first step, and it won’t happen this year, but maybe next year with a first round draft pick STUD running back they might scare some folks in the NFC South…..but until then just a team trying to catch a little traction.

Exactly Herm! If USF was in the NFC south I might pick this team 5th. Well is Herm a negative hater?

If Herm knows so much, why was he fired twice?

What is Germ’s record as a head coach. Here’s a guy who will probably never get another job as a coach so all he has time to do is get on twitter like a little girl. I pick anywhere between 6-10 and 8-8. There are to many variables in the NFL. like injuries, to predict how well or bad any team will do.

Herms a Fu@king loser. it takes one to know one!! You play to win the game… Fuck off Herm Edwardfs

Looks like we got some pre-season excuses going strong from the Rah supporters. Even looking forward to next years draft already.
I suspect confidence will go down even further when the reality of playing actual NFL games gets closer and closer.
Lets lower the expectations even more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL!
Hey, “Germ” won a playoff game if Joe remembers correctly.

The difference between that douche bag Adam Schein and Herm is that Herm has class.
No one is doubting that the Bucs are probably in for a rough year unless the rookies play lights out. But Adam Shcein seems to have a personal vendetta against the Bucs for whatever reason and takes a shot at the team any chance he gets.
You don’t have to be Nostradamus to predict the Bucs in last place. Its the easy pick. But it’s far from a given. The Panthers have problems of their own and Atlanta should be good but they are never a sure thing.

We have moved from competing for the Division Title on a consistent basis to hoping maybe, just maybe we can finish third in a four team division.
Pathetic.
June 14th, 2010 at 10:35 am
Eric you’re an idiot.
Is not pathetic to have a goal of finishing better than you did last year. I am sure that everyone on the Bucs has a goal of finishing first every year.
But as fans its not realistic to expect to go from 3-13 to a division championship. It just isn’t. Its not pathetic it’s realistic.
If anyone is pathetic its you my friend. Anytime Raheem or anyone on the team comes out and says their goal is a Championship or that they feel like they are getting better you are the first to critisize him for saying it.

I am just applying the Gruden standard. 9-7 is no good, first round division losses arent either.
Of course we all know Rah and his supporters will be dancing in the streets if they ever even sniff those things.
Werent the 07 NFC South champ bucs coming off a 4-12 season?

What Herm says doesn’t hold much weight in my opinion. He supposedly was a good position coach, unless the talent made him look good. I say that because he has never been a good head coach. Maybe his weakness is assessing talent or simply coaching (or both).
I see the Bucs winning between 6-8 games. I don’t see them as horrible, but see them competitive even in their losses.

So Germ won a playoff game. Great, lets get a bust ready for Canton!
