Bucs Consult Vacation Man For Job Advice
February 6th, 2010Two current Bucs (for now) and one former Bucs player seem to be so desperate for work, they have consulted with Vacation Man of BSPN.com for advice to their futures.
In short, Vacation Man is down on the status of the two current Bucs (for now) wide receivers.
Claiming they are Antonio Bryant and Michael Clayton, respectively, posters on a BSPN.com NFC South chat pestered Vacation Man for advice.
First up, Bryant wanted to know where he is playing next year.
Antonio Bryant (Tampa)
Chances the Bucs offer me an extension?
Vacation Man
Slim to none
Then Clayton wanted to know about his status with the Bucs.
Micheal Clayton (Tampa, Florida)
Hey Pat, what do I have to do for the Bucs to give me one more chance??? I know they said the ball was in my court, but it sure doesn’t feel like it!
Vacation Man
Take a pay cut, maybe?
But it wasn’t just receivers concerned about their future. So too was former Bucs running back Warrick Dunn.
Warrick Dunn (Unknown)
Hey Pat, after the Bucs dropping me, and this year off, you think I still have a chance to make a comeback? I’m not horrible, I can still win games!
Vacation Man
Let it go, man. That part of your life is over. Don’t you think someone else would have grabbed you if you had anything left.
Joe knows people are getting desperate looking for work in this brutal local Florida economy, but Joe never dreamed it would be so bad that NFL players are begging bloggers for employment advice.

If we let Bryant go we are going to be in alot of trouble. Who is Freeman gonna throw the ball 2? Maybe we can just run the ball with our 3 headed running attack LOL. I can not wait for this offseason to unfold. This is gonna be the answer to our questions. We will find out if we are gonna be a sorry team for years to come or a team to be reckoned with for years to come. ANTICAPATION IS KILLING ME!

Amusing Joe. Some people might even believe that you believe they are the real people asking the questions.

Hey Joe,
help us all out. Put a dedicated spot on one aide of the site telling us who your code named people and sites are. We can figure out Sabby the Goal and BSPN. But who is Vacation Man? Just give us a sticky section where you ID them all
thanks
Jon

Hey Joe,
Whats the likelihood that I’ll be a Buc in 2010?

Brandon:
Joe wouldn’t mind having you on the team. But unless you wanna work cheap and the Broncos offer you up for no more than a second round pick, Joe doesn’t see you wearing pewter and red next season.

I like this thread. It has amused me.

Well Joe I gotta admit coming to Tampa definately has some advantages over working in Denver:
1. The weather is better is Tampa
2. For any ole excuse the HC lets you skip Training Camp and preseason games (I talked to AB about that one)
3. Only have to play in 16 games – cuz Tampa isn’t playoff bound
4. Get to break curfew with fellow players and when the coach finds out just cuss him out
5. If I suck in Tampa I get to blame the rookie QB
Man that gig really sounds fine to me. I think I’ll have my agent talk to Dominik about that trade.
As far as the money? Well if Tampa gives Bryant 9.7 million then I should get at LEAST 9 million right?
