Cue The Applause For Tom Balog
January 2nd, 2010After about 4,000 posts on JoeBucsFan.com since August 2008, a member of the esteemed Tampa Bay Buccaneers beat writer community has seen fit to reference JoeBucsFan.com in his publication.
Joe just knew 2010 would be a great year!
The kudos go to Tom Balog, of the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. Balog is best known around here as the guy who dropped the fascinating “Dunderhead” tag on Jeremy Trueblood.
Way to go, Tom. A Rachel Watson picture, the pride of Sarasota, is in your inbox right now! A cold Caybrew is on Joe’s tab at your choice of a fine Sarasota watering hole.
Balog referenced Joe’s reporting and take on Wednesday about Bucs actual attendance and how that might impact the Glazers. Mike Florio, the curator, creator and overall guru at ProFootballTalk.com made it a national story on Wednesday, but Balog brought it home to Sarasota today.
Joe loves the attention.

Hey Vince. Joe never really thought about it. Have to say both. 🙂

How very meta, a post about a comment about a post.

Joe gets much love here in Sarasota. We talk about Joe’s site and we love our Bucs, and the short drive up I-75 to the game. Speaking of which. It’s about that time, so I gotta get on the road. Go Bucs!!!
