Classy Move By The Glazers

January 22nd, 2010

The sudden death of former Bucs defensive end Gaines Adams on Sunday shocked fans, players and probably everyone associated with the Bucs organization.

Even though Adams was traded to the Bears in the fall, Team Glazer recognized that Adams was, in spirit, still part of the Bucs family and chartered a plane for employees to attend his funeral today in South Carolina, so reported Anwar Richardson of the Tampa Tribune.

Joe has to nod in solemn approval of the Glazer family’s gesture. They surely went above and beyond.

Dont give them so much credit Joe. I’m sure they chartered a puddle jumper. Either that or they are getting a heck of a deal, or racking up the frequent flyer miles. Anything on the cheap. Right? Kinda like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjnlDKzx0WI

Totally sarcasm by the way. It is very classy. Just thought I’d get some people riled up

Great job Glazers’. Seems that it does not matter what the owners do some of you jackasses just don’t like them. To me it shows that they do care about their team and players. Let’s face it they could have just sent flowers !! Good job guys.

I agree, good move on the Glazers part. I’ve been a harsh critic of the Glazers lately, but this is a classy move — unless they sold tickets for the ride.

It was a nice move. But I wonder as Adam does if it affects free-agency plans. :-\

Probably not – they weren’t planning to spend much anyway! :-p
