Bucs Schedule Harder Than Saints’, Panthers’
January 9th, 2010Joe’s not going to question the stat geeks at BSPN. Those gremlins do great stuff, and Joe couldn’t be bothered.
But these geeks recently served up NFL strength of schedule numbers to Vacation Man, their resident NFC South reporter. And somehow, someway, the Bucs have a tougher schedule next year than the Saints and Panthers.
How could this be? The answer is simple. The Bucs don’t get to play themselves.
2010 STRENGTH OF SCHEDULE
A look at the most difficult schedules in 2010 (based on opponents’ 2009 record)
25. Buccaneers 123-133 .480 26. Panthers 122-134 .477 27. Saints* 120-136 .469 28. 49ers 117-139 .457 T29. Chargers* 116-140 .453 T29. Seahawks 116-140 .453 31. Rams 115-141 .449 32. Cardinals* 114-142 .445
Regardless, the Bucs have home games in the fall against Seattle, Cleveland, St. Louis, Detroit and Pittsburgh.
Raheem The Dream needs to win at least four of these games and go 3-3 in the division. No excuses.

The Chargers and Cardinals have the easiest schedules in the league next year? That’s odd.

if the saints plas against tampa twice at season….a team of 3-13, obviously the schedule looks more “easy”

So your logic is the Bucs go 7 and 9 next season and Morris is ok, is that right Joe? What about the season after next? 8 and 8 gonna do it? What about the 2012 season? 9and7 maybe playoffs maybe not? Then in 2013 we maybe have a first round playoff loss, is that about the way it needs to go Joe? Do you see where I’m going with this Joe? I would like the Bucs to win championships. Not what I watched this year. I don’t understand why your standing behind the Glazers and Morris. The season before no loss was tolerable to you or the local hacks there in the area. All of a sudden its ok to be 3-13. Why is that your position?
