Delhomme Expected To Sit Out Sunday
December 1st, 2009Monte Kiffin’s defenses used to abuse inexperienced quarterbacks. Even last season, the Bucs punished Matt Ryan and Aaron Rodgers when they came to Tampa.
Now, Raheem The Dream will try to step up and continue Kiffin’s legacy on Sunday in Carolina.
On Sunday, the Panthers are expected to start Matt Moore at quarterback, tweets BSPN NFL guru Adam Schefter. Moore has just a few career starts under his belt.
Jake Delhomme has a busted finger.
Of course, none of this will mean crap if the Panthers run the ball down the Bucs’ throats for the third time in as many matchups. Even Kiffin couldn’t stop that last year.

I hope the Bucs can force Moore to make some mistakes, but they didn’t exactly abuse Redman on Sunday. In fact, Redman looked like a frick’in All Pro.

Abuse ineexperienced QB’s!?! Apparently, you missed Cleo Lemon and Sage Rosenfels, and a few other backups have the best games ever against Montes defenses of recent years. Those days of making backup QB’s look like backups are MANY years ago.

Joe here,
Jackson, those days are NOT many years ago, when you can point to Ryan and Rodgers last season.
And when exactly did Cleo Lemon light up the Bucs? The stats Joe’s researching don’t show he every played a regular season game against Tampa Bay.
I’ll give you Sage Rosefels having a great day in 2007 but that day he didn’t throw a pass for more than 17 yards.
