“The Expectations Here Are Pretty Low”
October 29th, 2009NFL.com scribe Jason LaCanfora, of NFL.com, is hardly touting the Josh Freeman era in this video.
“The expectations here are pretty low,” LaCanfora says.
Of course, intelligent Bucs fans expect little from Freeman this season. But Joe can’t help but wonder why he can’t find one national talking head, often an uninformed boob, who is high on Freeman and thinks he can have a strong impact.
Freeman said he’s better than Mark Sanchez. Doesn’t anyone believe him?
This video — no embed codes courtesy of warden Roger Goodell — also includes a film package of Freeman’s action against New England. Let’s hope Jeff Faine never gets beat again like he does in this video.

Faine just wanted to remind everyone how Mahan did it.

There was a pause then a resounding chorus of NO!

Freeman may be able to get it downfield, but our No. 1 and No. 2 wideouts cant catch, our Running Backs cant do over 100 yds a game, our front four cant put pressure on the the QB or stop the run, our DBs cant stop the pass but other than that we want Freeman to make a difference. Its all about getting Freeman under center to get him ready for next year…

The expectation is that Freeman come in and do the best he can, learn and grow week to week. You can’t ask for more than that. Which would be worse, starting the season and go 0-7 or come in at 0-7 and start? Personallly, I would rather come in at this point, you have no where to go but up.

If we win two games I will be extatic with joy … Carolina on december 6th and the end of the season the playoff teams will rest there starters

Did Freeman REALLY say he was better than Sanchez? If so, I admire his confidence, at least. Cuz in the pic above (I don’t know, but) he doesn’t look like the sharpest knife in the drawer or very confident. But I’m looking forward to him getting the chance and learning, only problem is he’s Rah’s personal choice and God, Joe, and the rest of us know, Rah’s choices and decisions haven’t exactly been earth shattering.
