Raheem’s Mystery Phone Call

October 25th, 2009

So there was Raheem The Dream shown on the CBS-TV cameras getting off the sideline phone and coming over to offensive coordinator Greg Olson saying “No. 5.”

That’s Josh Freeman’s number. And as Raheem The Dream yelled and gestured to Olson the CBS-TV broadcast team told viewers Freeman was entering the game.

Joe wonders, just who was Raheem The Dream chatting with on the phone?

Joe is downright scared to think he was calling Joel and Bryan Glazer who were sitting alone in their luxury box. Would Rah call Mark Dominik in the middle of a game?

Who’s really in charge of this team?

So, the question is, was Rah calling to get permission or answering the phone to take orders?

This guy is not ready to be a head coach and it’s clear he’s in over his head. Did you see the look on his face when he was on the phone? My guess is Dominik called to tell him what to do. Ridiculous.

Roger Goodell… telling both teams to switch QB’s……

  3. PetetheHat Says:

Maybe a good call, RastaMon…as I said earlier…I’m not sure Goodell didn’t ask Belichick to take it easy(on the Bucs) for the sake of international commerce…and now I’m not sure if I’m kidding or not either?

  4. Greg Says:

Pete, you may very well be correct about Goodell telling Belichick to take it easy–the Pats didn’t look all that well today (but at least it made the Bucs defense look a little better than normal!). Naw, I take that last comment back–we still looked like shit!!

Dominik is 100% in charge of this team. The Dream is just the stand in before we go for a big name coach like Cower or Shannahan. My Guess is Raheem never wanted to start Johnson in the first place, remember “career back-up”. Dominik probably gave Raheem strict orders to not play Freeman. Josh wasnt going to win us any games, although I do think he could be a good QB with a good team, but our problems are much bigger than just the QB. Raheem say this a decided to ask Daddy Dominik if it was alright for him to take his new toy out of the protective package and play with him for a little bit. Poor excuse for leadership if you ask me.

I don’t see anyone is this regime ever working out anywhere else in the NFL. I don’t care if its “Dumbprick or the “Glaciers” making the call. Head coaches should never be taken orders from GM’s or owners. Bad things man. Bad things !!

I say again…Doesn’t it give you warm fuzzies to know these guys are going to be in charge of using all those nice high draft picks in April? This team will be crippled for a decade or more!
