Yes, Joe knows this is a Bucs blog. But Joe is a football addict. High school football, college football, NFL. It doesn’t matter to Joe so long as it’s pigskin.

Joe has been known to wake early on a Saturday morning, watch College Gameday on BSPN, one of the very few things that outfit does well, and watch college football until the wee hours of the next morning.

Why, Joe has even caught himself watching Hawaii home games at 2 a.m.

So Joe is in nirvana today, inhaling as much football (and grub and Caybrews) as any red-blooded American male can.

The following are just a few things that has Joe hooked on college football and why he keeps coming back.

UPDATE 10:33 a.m.: Joe just noticed on the Big Ten Network they have some pregame football show called “Big Ten Cookout.” The co-host is the lovely Melanie Collins. Joe put down the remote and frankly, really didn’t hear anything she said.

Joe has been impressed with the football coverage of the Big Ten Network. They seem to subscribe to the Roger Ailes philosphy of loading up your network with hot babes and people will watch. What a novel concept: hot babes, football… the only thing missing is a Caybrew.
