Ten Happy Thoughts
September 14th, 20091. The Panthers have the worst quarterback in the NFC South.
2. Maybe Geno Hayes should arrive late every game, if he’s going to play that well.
3. Just the thought of Cadillac Williams makes Joe want to drop and do 20 pushups and high-five strangers.
4. The Bucs’ run defense looked better than in December.
5. The Bucs get the Bills on Sunday on a short week after tonight’s Pats-Bills beating at Foxborough.
6. Josh Johnson might actually see the field this season.
7. Maybe, just maybe, Donovan McNabb’s injury will keep him out of the Bucs-Eagles game on Oct. 11.
8. There’s a chance, albeit slim, Michael Clayton could play that well all season.
9. Ronde Barber still has game.
10. Jerramy Stevens probably won’t be seen on special teams much again. Joe’s awarding him responsibility for the blocked field goal.

I agree. Your boy Geno played like a mad hornet! Caddy still runs very violently. Guess he’s not changin his style of run. Glad to see him back, no pun. No pass rush in the 2nd half, none. Back-up Oline played terrible! Leftwich is lucky he still has his spleen! Man he got clobbered in the 4th. Zone blocking couldn’t see a simple DT stunt!? The 2ndary was bad, real bad. If we can defend the pass will be better but I don’t know if that’s possible with Sabby in there. Get back TJ stop smokin the good. The play callin in the 1st looked good. Got away from the run a lil in the 2nd half but lost Fayne with an arm injury so that’s hard to judge. Special teams…WOW! Jus WOW!…maybe the Plant Panthers will play ST’s on Sundays for us. To the coaches, do not jump in the air an celebrate with your players. C-

Faine(sp) my bad. Hope he’s ok. Update on him at 12:15.

The Cowboys should covet our new punter Dirk Johnson. No way Jerry Jones has to move his scoreboard. Dirk can’t kick it high enough to clear the cross bar let alone the overhead scoreboard. They couldn’t calculate the hang-time because his anemic punts fell to earth before they could start the stop watch.

The Bucs defense did play better yesterday than they did last December. I don’t get your point, Joe. Look at the tape again.

Looks lik we got 2 Chris’s. I’ll be Chris D. Faine has a strained tricep, out a few weeks. D did terrible in the 2nd half. No pressure. Lookin in the back field ie Sabby.

Stevens can’t pass block either. Incredible for a guy his size.

Chris, are you kidding, you think the Bucs defense looked better yesterday than they did last December? Geez, watch the replay again!!
