Jermaine Phillips Has Altercation With Fans
September 13th, 2009CORRECTION: The altercaton with fans in Section 109 came from Jermaine Phillips, NOT Sabby Piscitelli.
Either Jermaine Phillips is a great teammate or he is a hot head. Or maybe both. Either way, he was part of an embarrassing indicent after the Bucs loss to the Cowboys Sunday.
Seems as though fans sitting in Section 109 were booing and heckling Sabby Piscitelli for his poor play and Phillips came to his defense.
As Joe stated earlier, a good friend texted him after the game. Joe’s friend has season tickets in Section 109. The fans there were booing Piscitelli. But Piscitelli’s teammate Phillips responded which escalated into a cursing match between Phillips and the fans. It got so heated that Phillips then threw the water at the fans.
Again, Piscitelli did not throw the water or get into a heated argument with the fans. It was Phillips who began to defend his teammate when the incident escalated into a cursing and water-throwing escapade.
Joe sincerely apologizes to Piscitelli for the previous misunderstanding.

The lack of pass rush did not help out the secondary. No real pressure on Romo. Sabby and Mack were struggling but no reason to lose control with fans.

Sabby sucked today……but the fan got what he deserved

The fan better watch it or Sabby may just hire Talib to go beat them up in a cab.

In my opinion, Sabby is a special teams player at BEST!!!

Don’t apologize to Piscitelli, Joe. He should be apologizing to his teammates and HC for his piss poor play today. And this is not the first game he’s been burned by taking terrible angles to the ball. He clearly is not a starting NFL safety.

You’re right Mike, Sabby’s not even close. Good kid, big heart, bad decisions.

Piscatelli was starting his 6th NFL game and Mack ? Yes they made mistakes…good grief I hope everyone was perfect after 6 times on the job.
Phillips was making his ? how many starts? He was not great either.
