“Freeman Makes Me Nervous”

Joe must say that former Bucs tight end Dave Moore is a real treat in the broadcast booth for Bucs fans.
The guy does a fabulous job spewing out Xs and Os on the air.
Asked about Josh Freeman’s performance Friday night, Moore’s voice cringed.
“Freeman makes me nervous,” Moore said.
Moore explained that Freeman is “shifting his eyes all the way across the field” after he drops back to pass. And that’s an indicator that he’s “not recognizing coverages pre-snap.”
That’s when “bad things happen,” Moore said. “He doesn’t know the checkdowns.”
Again, Freeman is what he is: extremely talented, raw, and a 21-year-old fresh out of the pourous defenses of the Big 12.

He’s got alot to learn, outside the 2 min offense and TD pass, he was struggling tonight. You got to wonder how much he was effected not having the 1st teamers out there, but then again he wasn’t facing the Texans first teamers either!

Hey Joe, I picked up a 12 pack of Caybrew on the way home from the game, and after 4 I find myself thinking too positively on our QBs and the Bucs–this doesn’t bode well for me buying more Caybrew!!! 🙁

Joe, while our beloved Rachel Watson is no longer with the cheerleading squad, I have to admit her shoes have been filled by Meagan Pravden and Nina Stauffer this year! While the Caybrews may make me look at the Bucs a little more positively than normal, they DEFINITELY help me deal with the loss of Rachel and gains of Meagan and Nina!!! 🙂

Freeman is a rookie who was given almost no reps with the first team.
