Bucs Could Surprise
September 11th, 2009Most (if not all) national sports scribes think the Bucs have about as much of a chance at the playoffs as Joe has of luring Rachel Watson into his lair.
Tom Korun of WFTS-TV has a word for said writers: Shove it.
On his blog on the station’s website, Korun writes how he is tired of people putting the Bucs down and thinks it’s possible the Bucs put a hurting on Dallass.
You can talk all you want about the matchup. Dallas has more proven players on both sides of the ball. Tony Romo has finally decided football is more important than hanging with Jessica Simpson. That would be very debatable in most man caves.
Dallas’s defensive line will give the Bucs offense fits. Yada, Yada, Yada. Let me let you in on what has gone on this week here in the Bay area that all your national know-it-alls have no clue about.
First of all, this team is very chapped. It is a ‘me against the world’ mentality going on over at One Buc.
Thus far, Joe has been impressed with Jim Bates’ defense. And the Cowboys don’t exactly have a set of receivers that can light teams up. Hey, if the Bucs can get pressure on Tony Romo…
