August 5th, 2009In this exclusive audio take for JoeBucsFan.com readers, Sports Animal personality Justin Pawlowski, NFL draft guru extraordinaire, gives a fresh take on what’s different about 2009 training camp.

You mean the two headed monster that won the superbowl, and went to the playoffs twice after that with teams that should not have been there. I know it is the start of training camp, but can we wait till they play some games before we hand out the awards.

Firstly – nice podcast Jason good to hear from you again
Secondly – yeah that 2-headed monster who had a rookie QB toss 30+ passes in 30+ mph winds at Giants stadium; that same 2-headed monster that watched his teams defense “give away” the last 4 games last year because he didn’t have any answers to their stuggles (…hey talk to Monte…) is gone – thank goodness.
Thirdly – how important is the coach to the team? Sure he’s the man who calls plays but what about motivation, inspiration, etc., How do you measure an intangible?
Lastly – Change can be painful or good it’s your perspective. However, everyone fights change – even babies with wet diapers scream and fight change, nevertheless when its done the results can then be measured. So refreshing yes – tangible – maybe.

Well when you are down 14-3 half-way thru the 2nd quarter and your running game has had a total of 6 yds on 10 carries, Yeah I would keep running it too and avoid the pass?
