Gun-toting Burress “Pissed It Away”
June 1st, 2009Bob Papa again nails the salient point about Raheem the Dream’s Viagra overdose with Plexiglass Burress.
There’s no way the Bucs should have anything to do with this NRA spokesman. Papa, who is the play-by-play voice of both the Giants and Thursday Night Football on NFL Network, took apart Burress again this morning while co-hosting “The Opening Drive,” with Randy Cross on Sirius NFL Radio.
A Bucs fan couldn’t understand why the Bucs wouldn’t want Burress. Papa explained simply:
“He had just signed a major contract and he pissed it away. What’s to say when or if he signs another deal with another team that he won’t piss that away too?”
Exactly. As Joe has pointed out, if the Steelers kicked him to the curb and the Giants kicked him to the curb, why would the Bucs want someone else’s trash, plus no one knows when he will be eligible to play again?

Believe me, the “Cap Champions of the NFL” won’t toss $$$ at Plexaco – unless he can kick a soccerball for Man U.

Amen Mr. Lucky
The Bucs need to sign Buress the same way they signed Bryant. Give him a chance. He is a difference maker. I don’t care that he can’t handle a hand gun. Not my problem. I want to win games and championships. It doesn’t get better than Super Bowl. So the Glazers blow some of THEIR money on him to try and win a championship. That’s how it should be. It shows they are trying. I can’t stand the Cowboys or the Yankees except for one thing they have in common. They are always trying to build and win NOW! Not 3 years from now like Tampa is doing. This looks so much like old management it’s not funny. Everyone just keep accepting it and one thing will be certain at the end of the season. The Glazers will have made more money than any other owners in football.Yes they are truly CAP CHAMPIONS!!!

One man’s trash. Is well another man’s different trash?
