Protesting Raheem’s Insensitivity

PETA protesters are sure to walk the sidewalks of Dale Mabry in protest of Raheem Morris' recent insensitive comments. Joe can only hope.
Even wihout Michael Vick on the Bucs roster, surely PETA is coming to picket One Buc Palace (hopefully its those naked vegan chicks they parade out every year).
Joe can’t help but wonder where the politically correct police have been since Raheem The Dream referenced the Bucs quarterback competition as “1 bone, 5 dogs” the other day.
It’s that kind of talk – and action – that put Michael Vick in the pen and on Roger Goodell’s bad boy list.
Former Bucs QB Jeff Carslon, who writes the regular QB Blast column on JoeBucsFan.com, enlightened Joe to the pure insensitivity of Raheem The Dream’s words.

good lord, that’s a reach joe. raheem would say you and jeff are grasping for straws, but since the tragic straw incident of 1989, he’s hesitant to turn the phrase.

Joe, I’m on your side, but it’s about time for Carlson to check into the Hospital for a Plasectomy. This procedure involves implanting a piece of Plexiglas in the patient’s stomach so that he can see where he is going because his head is so far up his ass. Raheem’s statement made perfect sense and I’m not his biggest fan…yet, but he sounded like a coach when he said it. Carlson shouldn’t read something into it that isn’t there. Let’s stick to football. You do a really good job of it. Maybe Carlson needs to get a job with the Inquirer or the New Suck Times. Nice pic though.

Good grief. This isn’t a serious post. This is humor people, and a chance to break out the naked vegans. One most always seize the opportunity to introduce naked vegans.

The thing about humor… is that it requires a level of funny which is typically absent from your daily skepticism. Considering you’ve been riding Raheem’s ass since the beginning, this just seemed like more of the same, unbridled “he can do no right” criticism.
Granted, painting pictures of rainbows and sunshine doesn’t make for a compelling read either, but whatever vendetta you got against Raheem makes me long for the days of the glorious Gruden Crusades.
Most importantly: more naked vegans.

To Joe’s defense I’ve never once read here that Raheem was a bad coach or that he didn’t belong here.
