Two Tackles Should Be On Bucs’ Draft Radar
March 20th, 2009Bucs fans are still waiting for Mark Dominik and company to beef up the defensive line for coordinator Jim Bates, who allegedly needs mammouth defensive tackles to execute his two-gap schemes.
Sorry Peria Jerry, says Justin Pawlowski, you’re too small and you’re a one-gap defensive tackle. {+++}

Hey Justin – definately a great value for your expertise.
Here’s a question – IF Percy Harvin dropped to #18 would you take Percy or Brace?
Your 4th round pick – from Stillman? I personally like it

The Bucs would be fools to pick Harvin. There are much safer picks and how many touches is he really going to get?

Justin an Ole Miss grad here. Maybe you can address why a guy like Peria Jerry can’t be coached to be a 2gap player or to play bigger or Bates can’t adjust to accommodte. Just don’t understand what’s the big deal even though you explained

Think Justin could have cut that down to one paragraph.
You don’t draft a guy you have to transform int he first round when there are better fits available. GET ME A RADIO SHOW!

The Bucs had a 3, 4 or 5 gap in the line. In the last 5 games of the season. If we could get it down to 1 or 2 that would be great.
