Brooks Dinged Up; Should Play
December 26th, 2008A week after suffering a rib injury against Atlanta, Bucs linebacker Derrick Brooks strained a hamstring against San Diego reports Stephen Holder of the St. Petersburg Times. The hamstring was enough to keep Brooks out of practice Wednesday and Thursday.
But Holder states the Bucs expect Brooks to play.
Brooks was back on the practice field, although on a limited basis. He likely will be listed as questionable when the week’s final injury report is released at 4 p.m.
With the Bucs needing a win to make the playoffs, Joe suspects Brooks would have to be near death to keep him out of Sunday’s game.
